Glowing

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  For my inspiration today I'm using the very cute image Fairy Bauble, you can find it here in Wendy's shop

I've coloured the image with Copics giving her a glowing night scene.  There's some added sparkle with embossing enamel and a tiny silver star.

I've made her into a large Christmas tag using recycled amazon boxes and some silver glitter paper.  The selection of silver and blue ribbons are from my stash.

Christmas Sparkle....

Today is our Facebook Challenge day at All Dressed Up.  the theme for this month is Gems / Sparkle / Shine.

I've chosen to use All Dressed Up for Christmas for my inspiration, she's one of my favourites!  You can find her here in Wendy's shop.

I've coloured her with Copics giving her a fairy green glow.  I've sprinkled some embossing enamel around to add to a starry background.

I've used recycled some cardboard for the base cutting it with a die and then layered up the glitter paper and hand cut image.

I've added a tiny silver star to the sky and then used a selection of ribbons from my stash.

Spring / Easter Tag

We're all about Die Cuts & Punches for the Challenge at All Dressed up in the Facebook Group today.

For my inspiration I'm using Pretty Bonnet, you can find it in the shop here.  I've coloured the image with Copics.

I've used my tag die cut for this one to recycle some left over card.  The design paper was also cut with the same die and then cut the image to fit and distressed it with Tonic tool so it's matted.

In the background I doodled a couple of birds.  The added a selection of ribbons and tiny paper flowers from Hobby Craft.

It's Wednesday Sketch challenge day at Outlawz :)
We've sponsored this month by Sherry West

I's using a cute turkey image today for my inspiration

The image has been coloured with Copics and has been matted onto some black card cut with s Spellbinders die.

This is out sketch for the next two weeks

I decided to make a tag for this one to show that sketches can be used in different ways.

I've cut the tag shape out with a die and them hand cut the design paper from My Minds Eye.  By the time I'd added the green heart buttons onto the tag you couldn't see I'd got a split in the design paper behind the image :D

The Who Me sentiment is made from Tim Holtz stickers.  I've used some twine down the side and if you look carefully he's eating a twine worm ;)

I've finished it off by adding some more twine and some ric rac

Wine Bottle Tag

Here I an recycling again, love making tags with recycled cardboard :D

I've made this tag for the latest Facebook challenge for SheepSki Designs.  We're always anything goes with our images and have optional twists, this month's is pick a shape.  You can pick any shape you like even a square!

 

The image I've used is called Wine Time, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured the image with Copics, the tag and background design paper from Lemoncraft have been cut with a die.  The image hand cut to fit inside with a border.   The edges of all have been distressed.

A few enamel dots, a selection of ribbons and twine from my stash and a sentiment made from Tim Holtz stickers were the final bits I added.

Girly Unicorn Tag

I'm sharing my latest GDT inspiration for Colour Crazy Craft Challenge today.  We're sponsored by Polkadoodles this time :)

This image is called Special Time - Sparkle Unicorn.

I've coloured her with Copics in bright pink and green party colours.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.

The design paper is from Hobby craft and I've cut the tag out with a die.  The image was hand cut to fit with some black card to mat it on.  A couple of green enamel dots and a couple or pink gems to match and then a few pink ribbons from my stash to finish.

Iris and Tulips Tag

It's the last challenge for April for the Outlawz Sketch Team.  This month we're sponsored by Anne's Digital Art.  I'm using an image called Vase of Iris and Tulips.

The image has been coloured with Copics.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

I've cut the tag out using a die, the background is some royal blue glitter paper and I've used some back card for framing the image.

The sentiment is from Lily of the Valley, coloured with Copics and framed with some more blue glitter paper.  The ribbons to match are from my stash.

Spring time

Today is our second lot of inspiration with Wendy's new release images.  I'm using Spring Hair Do today, you can find it here in the shop.

She's been coloured with Copics then cut to mat onto a tag.  I've used some recycled card for the backing cut with tag die.  The design paper, picked to match the image colours, is from Hobby Craft.  In this close up you can see I've added some DecoArt glitter to her wings.

Added tot he tag are a few paper flowers, some pearl embellishments (wedding section at Hobby Craft), a couple of time silver dragonfly charms, a selection of ribbons, a tiny pearl heart and a sentiment made from Tom Holtz stickers.

Fairy Swing Tag

Today is our Facebook Challenge day at All Dressed Up, we'd love to see your creations this month using an embellishment or more than one :)

I've chosen to use Fairy Swing for my inspiration today.  The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've scattered some embossing enamel around the image.

I've hand cut the image to the tag shape.  The actual tag and the glittery backing paper from Hobby Craft were cut with a die.

My added embellies are some wood chip sentiments and some ribbons.

Magical

Today is new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.

I'm using Prima Ballerina, you can fund her here in Wendy's shop.

She's been coloured with Copics in pastels and then fussy cut for the tag.

You can see a tine sticker "magical" here.  This is one of Tim Holtz's stickers.

Showing a little on the effect of the flower here in an angled view of the tag.

Here we have a mixture of papers flowers and a couple of pins.

The tag was cut with a die and I've hand cut some glitter paper to leave a border.  On top of the glitter paper I glued some lace (and yes it took me ages because the lace kept sticking to my fingers and I kept pulling it off!)

Here's another angled shot so you can see more of the flowers.

I've finished off with a few silver dragonfly charms and then added a mixture of ribbons.

Pastel Angel Tag

I've decided to join my ladies for the SheepSki challenge blog inspiration.  I usually make a few Christmas tags for my presents so I though this was the perfect opportunity :)

I was in a bit of a rush, my day just is just eating all my time up, so I chose to do very subtle neutral pastel colours.  the image was coloured with Copic and then fussy cut.

I found some glitter paper pad in Hobby Craft before lockdown and I had a lovely chocolate coloured one.

My design paper is an off cut scrap left from some scrapbook papers.

The tag was cut with a die and the design paper trimmed to fit just inside.  There's a winter themed wood chip circle, i think it may be Scrapiniec, I found it in my stash with the labels cut off.  Probably from another project I started and changed my mind :)

Finally after adding the fussy cut angel and dove I added a glittery wooden Happy Christmas sentiment.  Oh and a bit of left over ribbon from when I was on the Ribbon Girl DT.

Little pink smoochy bear

Our theme for July at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group is FOR THE KIDZ.

I've never made a baby tag before and I had some card to recycle, so here it is :)

I love this little bear called A Star is Born, you can find it here in Wendy's shop

The images was coloured with Copics.  Once I'd coloured it I then scattered some embossing enamel for a bit of interest.

Cut out with a die the images is frames with appropriately pink glitter paper.  My finishing touches are a few different pink and cream ribbons and a tiny silver star charm.

Blue Floral Tag

1st of the month which means it's time for a new challenge at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.

This time we'd love to see your creations with "FLOWERS"

I've chosen to use Party Frock for a Birthday tag :) you can find the image here.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've then trimmed it down to fit the inside of a large tag die cut.  She's had two different colours of embossing enamel sprinkled around her.

Toward the left of the image you can see my floral area.  I've used a wood chip embellishment.  Over the top of this I've used a selection of blue and pink flowers.  I've also added some tiny silver dragonfly charms.

Behind the image is some blue glitter paper, the birthday sentiment is a wood chip one coloured with Copics.

Finally I've added some ribbons in colours matching the flowers.

Love you to the stars and back

Our new challenge starts in the All Dressed Facebook Group today, our theme for the month is Love Is... so we'd love to see all your creations that make you think of love!

Today I've using Stars and Back, I've been dying to use this image for ages :) She's been coloured with Copics

Doing a bit of recycling this week I've created a tag using some old cardboard packaging from Christmas and a die to cut out the tag shape.

Behind the image is the last of my green glitter paper, note to self go to Hobby Craft again LOL!!  Any excuse :)

I've added a tiny silver star charm and the ribbons are a mixture, on of which you'll be surprise to know what they are!  You know those annoying ribbons they have on clothes to help hand them up but they always pop out of your clothes ;)

Angel Tag

At SheepSki Designs on the challenge blog we've just gone live with our Die Cuts and / or Punches themed challenge.  I'm joining my lovely ladies today for the inspiration.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've then scattered some embossing enamel on to add to the starry night sky effect.

I thought about it for a while then decided to make a Christmas tag.  I'm quite into recycling my old cardboard at the moment, so off I went for a rummage in the kitchen to see what cardboards I could find.  I've ended up using a tonic water box :)

Here you can see the die cut tag.  I've used some sparkly white paper to frame the image.  I've added some tiny silver star charms to the tag.  Finally I found a selection of ribbons to add :)

Night time sparkle tag

I've found a little more time to play with the new All Dressed Up stamps from Crafteezee :)

This one is called Time to Sparkle, you can find it here in their shop.

She's also a little more inspiration for our current Facebook Challenge Fantasy / Wings

Once I'd coloured the image I though I'd better take a photo in case my next stage ruined it!

I coloured the image with Copics and used a die tag to cut it out and the sparkly paper behind the image.

A Little embossing enamel was sprinkled onto the texture sky to give a starry night sky effect.

Finally I added a tiny silver star charm and the ribbons for attaching the tag.

Hope you like my little extra inspiration for this challenge.
