Candle Glow

This is our last challenge at Outlawz Sketch for the year.  For this month we're all picking our favourite sketch for you to use.

This is the sketch I've chosen.  It's perfect for showcasing your coloured images and CAS cards.

My inspiration for you today is using Christmas Candle.  I have a discount code you can use in the shop to get 10% off, just quote SKIANDREA10 at checkout.  I've coloured the image with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.  I've done it as a night scene trying to get some glow from the candle.

The image has been been framed with black card leaving a white border.  The Season's Greetings was created at the time of printing.  Unfortunately its got a little lost with the colouring - ooops

Thanks for popping by we hope to see you at the challenge

A little bauble shine

I've done the image in monochrome using green, I don't usually use green on it's own but I'm so loving how this came out!

There's some embossing enamel scattered around to add some interest.  I've also used a few enamel dots in similar colours to the image.

Framed with black card and green glittery paper - that's me for today.  If you'd like to see some more inspiration with the new images for this month check out the blog and the Facebook group

A Favourite Sketch

For December at Outlawz Sketch we're picking our favourite sketches.

So as I've said I've coloured this with Copics.  In the class Alyce takes you through creating a cloud stencil and how to apply this to your background.  I've also used a black polychromos pencil and a white gel pen.

I love being able to colour images like this and then showcase them.  The sketch I've chosen is perfect for this.

We're all picking our favourite sketches so you will have seven sketches to choose from this week.

I've used black card for framing.  My design paper is from Hobbycraft called Watercolour Dreams.  I've used some black card for the banners which were cut suing a Fantasy Die.  At the top of the banners are some purple gems.

I've skipped the middle section from the sketch and used black ric-rak ribbon down the sides of the image which I got from The Ribbon Girl.

The sentiment is from Make It Crafty and has been colour with Copics as well.

Hope you like my inspiration for today, thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you at the challenge

A Little Sparkle

My card I'm sharing with you tonight has dual purpose.  No 1 it's the freebie that's on offer as part of the Kit & Clowder Advent Event.  And second I've used it for my inspiration for the new Facebook Challenge at All Dressed Up which starts today.

I've coloured the image with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.

Creating a simple card I've scattered some embossing enamel around the image which also contains some blue glitter.  The blue glitter paper I got from Hobbycraft ages ago.  I've finished the card off with a simple Christmas sentiment which is a chippy from Make It Crafty.

Thanks for popping by today and taking a look

Here's my list of gorgeous Ribbon Girl Goodies I used for this bag.

I've used some other items which I'll add in below as well

In addition to the chevron ribbon and pearl string from The Ribbon Girl you can see a heart paper doily layered in with my design papers.  The Christmas sentiment is from Make It Crafty.  I've left it natural to blend in with the theme of the card.

This section shows a close up of the flower arrangement on the bag and some of the lace.  Lace is merged into the layers of design papers as well as being a feature on the top layer.  I've also used some pearl gems.

This beautiful little polar bear image is a topper from Marianne Design I won as part of a prize at Kerst / Christmas on Facebook the link is here.

This the final picture showing an angled shot of the gift bag, it's going to be part of a special gift for a very special person :)

Giraffe Lights

We're sponsored this month by DigiStamps4Joy at Outlawz Sketch.  My inspiration this week is using a little cutie called Giraffe Christmas Lights.  I've coloured the image with Copics then hand cut and oval.

The edges of the image have been distressed, I've added a little white embossing enamel and frames it with some black card cut with a Spellbinders die.

This is our sketch for this week.

I've kinda flipped it over and on its side.  My design papers are from Maja Design and First Edition.

I've added a section of snowflake and heart ribbon I've had in my stash forever.  The winter wishes sentiment is a wooden one I got from Hobby Craft.

The other embellies are from The Ribbon Girl and the links are here.  White Tiny Pom Pom Trim, Snowy Artificial Pine Cones, Coffee Small Blossoms, Holley Leaves White

Yay Christmas is coming!

Mr Snowman

And now I have a song going through my head......

This image is from DigiStamps4Joy - it's called Mr Snowman.  DigiStamps4Joy are our sponsors at Outlawz Sketch this month.

The image has been coloured with Copics, cut out with a Spellbinders die and then I've used another one to cut the design paper that frames the image.

Here's our sketch for this week

My designs papers are a bit of a mix from Lili of the Valley, Maja Designs and Docrafts.

The final touch I added were the four wooden glittery snowflakes at the corners, you can find these in Hobbycraft.

Thanks for taking a look today, we hope to see you at the challenge
