Mr Squirrel

This is my second lot of inspiration for All Dressed Up new release day, this time I'm using Hello Squirrel.

The image has been coloured with Copics, I tried to keep a fully autumnal look to this card wanting it to completely contrast with the previous one.

I've used Design papers from Lili of the Valley and Joy Crafts,

A few tiny wooden hears, a few paper leaves and a sentiment coloured with Copics complete the card.

Another Adventure

 

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  This is my first post where I'm sharing my inspiration with Look At Me.

She made mt think of a Tom Boy so I decided to do her as though she went out to play in lovely clean clothes only to go her them and her face all muddied up.

This images has been coloured with Copics.

The design paper is fro Lili of the Valley and it a left over scrap from die cutting the other day.

All I've added is a sentiment using Tim Holtz stickers, saying "Another Adventure"

Snow Glow

Our theme at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group this time is Hot or Cold colours.

I've decided to go cold by using Snowy Days for my inspiration, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.

I had my blues out so decided to do another night sky card, creating some snow glow, or at least that's what I was trying to do,

The image was coloured with Copics.

I've coloured the nose and beaks is orange to give the card a little pop of colour.

I also had embossing enamel out so I decided to make a snowy scene with it.

A little batty

Our Blog Challenge has just gone live at SheepSki Designs, you can find it here.  The theme for this month is Autumn and / or Halloween.

I've not made Halloween cards for ages and seem to have got into them again :)

So I've decided to use a new image called Bit Batty for my inspiration.  It's here in the shop where you can get all images with 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout

The images has been coloured with Copics.  I sketched in the moon into the background so I could do one of my favourite night skies.

The Happy Halloween was printed at the same time as the image.  All I've added is some embossing enamel to add a little star light magic.

Mummified.....

So playing around with gnome images for Halloween.  I couldn't work out how to skeletonise one of them but thought about how I could mummify one :)

I love how this turned out, you can find Trick or Treat in the shop here where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I printed the sentiment at the same time as the image, then went to work with my Copics.  I thought about using purple as well but decided to keep it to earthy colours.

Just a simple card today using a die cut to get the angled design papers from Lili of the Valley and Joy Crafts.  I thought about adding some dots but then changed my mind and doodled some bats and a spider instead :)

Pastel Single Layer

It's time for our second lot of new release inspiration at All Dressed Up.

I'm using Fairy Butterfly Wings this time, you can find her here.  It's been a while since I did a true pastel card.  I find it challenging with my Copics because the colours can be very vibrant.

So colouring this up I knew I wanted a pink dress but had to play around with my other colours to find something suitably delicate.

The sentiment was created and printed at the the same time as the image.  I knew I'd be in a rush to make this one so I've done a single layer card and just scattered some embossing enamel on for some magic sparkle!
