Our Little Family

The images has been coloured with Copics, and I've even created the background with Copics this time.

I've used a white gel pen for highlights in the bears eyes and noses.

A single layer card with a wood chip sentiment from Make It Crafty, which has also been coloured with Copics is my only addition.

Thanks for popping by to see the bears today :)

Little pink smoochy bear

Our theme for July at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group is FOR THE KIDZ.

I've never made a baby tag before and I had some card to recycle, so here it is :)

The images was coloured with Copics.  Once I'd coloured it I then scattered some embossing enamel for a bit of interest.

Cut out with a die the images is frames with appropriately pink glitter paper.  My finishing touches are a few different pink and cream ribbons and a tiny silver star charm.

Thanks for popping by today.

In the world of my imagination

There was a little Morphling Baby Boy.....  This is the image I've used for my Guest Designer inspiration with Scrapping4Fun today.

There are actually two versions of this image, one without all the punk hair, elf ears and steam punk theme as well as this one.  I figured not everyone loves steam punk as much as me ;)

I've coloured the image with Copics and added some red glitter to his punk hair with a red gel pen.

Here's where the pops of colour come in!

My design papers are from Hobby Craft, a section of the papers has been cut using a die which I got from Dies to Die for.  I've doddles the line around the edge of the image, added a sentiment from Make It Crafty and finished off with three bright yellow enamel dots.

Thanks for popping by today, hope you like my inspiration

Pretty in pink

I've a few commissions on at the moment.  This one has been created for a friend for her nephew.  They're expecting their first baby soon and its going to be a girl :)

AND this is the perfect for our new challenge at Fussy and Fancy Fridays which is my favourite PINK!!

Now it's been a while since I've used a Lili of the Valley Stamp.  I pretty much haven't a lot of room so I was delighted to find they've started to do digi images!

This one is Cosy Pram.
The image was coloured with Copics.  I've cut it out in a circle and used some Tim Holtz vintage photo ink on the edges.  On top of this I've scattered some embossing enamel.  Behind it is a die cut scalloped circle from Spellbinders.  I've used some pink stripy paper from Maja Design.

The other layers of paper behind are also from Maja Design and all have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Between the layers of paper are two different lace pieces.  The flowers and lace were both bought from Noor Design.
The sentiment coloured with Copics is a Lili of the Valley one.  I've added a few pearls, a wooden heart shape and a banner cut with a Fantasy die (also from Noor Design)

Hope you love my inspiration and we see you at the challenge

Little Blue

I've made two card for inspiration for the new Facebook Challenge over at All Dressed Up.

My first card I'm using the image Z is for Zebra.  He's a perfect cutie for making baby cards!
I've coloured the image with  ProMarkers.  He's then been cut out and distressed before I've doodled a border.

My design paper are all from Maja Design.

To keep with the Star theme I've added a couple of grunge board stars from Tim Holtz.
My final addition is a sentiment to complete the baby card.

I'll share the second creation in a moment.....

New Baby Card

Been sooooo busy trying to get the challenge blog up and running that I'm a bit late blogging my card and I've still loads to do on the new blog - LOL!

I hate blogger - it always flummoxes me, why gadgets don't seem to co-operate.  Anyway the link is here and I'll be posting a welcome and then setting up a DT call soon https://sheepski-designs-challenges.blogspot.co.uk/ feel free to join the blog and let me know if anything is wrong with it :D

The new Facebook challenge has started today in my group - click here to join.  There are freebies in my group and you can use discount code to get 10% off my images on Etsy by quoting SKIANDREA10

Today for my inspiration I've used Baby Feet.  They've been coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils and cut out with a Spellbinders die.
The design paper is from Maya Design, the piece I cut out with a Spellbinders die behind the image was distressed with a nail file (fine sand paper would work just as well).

I've doodled some borders with a biro around the image and the while card it's mounted onto.  I actually cheated a bit here.  I coloured the image, cut it out and then mounted in back onto the original coloured card, that's why you can see some coloured sections underneath the image :D

The sentiment was printed at the same time as the image and my finishing touches are two silver dragonfly charms, a couple of sequins and a few rhine stones to add a bit of bling.

Hope you like my new baby card

New start for a new year

It's around this time we get all the "new" creations, so thinking along those lines I've done a new baby girl card using Lizzy's image 269 from Oddball Art for the blog challenge reminder today.

Check them out online where you can use my code DTANDREA10 to get 10% off.
I've coloured this image using Copics and polychromos pencils.  Into the background I've doodles some clouds with blue Copics.

The edges of the design paper from Lemoncraft, black card stock and image were all distressed.

I left a large clear space at the bottom where I could put a sentiment and baby feet (wood chip elements from Scrapienic).  there were coloured with Copics.

My final touch are some pink glitter dots and black gems

Not another Christmas Card

And no its not - its a baby card :D

I've nearly run out so thought I'd better start making some more.  I've used the new sketch from Outlawz to help me create this and I decided to use a little cute I've had for ages and not used yet called Bubble Baby from Di's Digi Stamps

It's mainly baby girls cards I'm short of and this one is coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils
The edges of the image have been distressed with Antique Linen Ink from Tim Holtz.  The design papers I've used are from Lemoncraft and Maja Design

Here's our sketch for this week

I've flipped mine onto its side and used some cream satin ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a few pink and white pearl gems

I chose to make a baby girl card for my inspiration using A Star Is Born.  This is the first image I used as a DT member for All Dressed Up :D
The image has been coloured with ProMarkers in pastel pinks with a little polychromos pencil.

Design papers are from Maja Design - all these and the image have been distressed.

Behind the image to the left and to the right of the image you can see some heart wood chip elements from Scrapienic.

There are some tiny pink start buttons, a tiny silver and a large silver metal charm, some pearl gems anf a sentimen from Lili of the Valley coloured with ProMarker.

One for the boys

When we make baby cards it's usually for the girls.  But this beautiful image is from Sami Stamps our sponsor at Outlawz Sketch challenge this month.  It's called New Daddy and is perfect for the guys!

This image was coloured with ProMarkers and I've also coloured the new baby sentiment from Lili of the Valley with ProMarkers.

Here's our sketch for today

For my inspiration card I've framed the image with cream lace and used distressed design papers from Lili of the Valley and First Edition for my background.

The only embellishment I've used are some tiny brass baby shoe charms :D
Hope to see you at the challenge

Zzzzzz....Zebra

This is one of Wendy's adorable new images.  You can find him/her on the All Dressed Up Etsy store and he's called Z if for Zebra :D

I've chosen to do mine as a baby girl card, so I've dug out my old favourite ProMarkers and made Zebra a pastel pink.
I've distressed the edges of the image with Tim Holtz Milled Lavender and doodled a border to look like stitching around the edge.

Making a shaped card, so all the design papers had to be hand cut, I've layered papers from Joy Crafts and Studio Light.

Onto the embellies - a resin corner bought from Live & Love Crafts, some grunge board hearts from Tim Holtz (coloured with ProMarker), some grey heart ribbon from my stash, some pink gems, a heart die cut banner using a La La Land die and the it's a girl sentiment (bought from Scrap & Craft)

So that's it for my inspiration for this new release image.

All I've got left to tell you is don't forget about the new anything goes with an All Dressed Up image on the blog challenge and the current Facebook challenge is Things with Wings

Happy Crafting :D

Mischief!

I've used Dino for my inspirations today - he's such a little cutie.

He's been coloured with ProMarkers and I've used a Spellbinders die to the cut the image out.  The edges have been coloured with grey ProMarker.

The design papers are from Maya Design.  The banners have been cut out using a La La Land die, the papers for those are from Lili of the Valley and Santoro.  I've used a couple of the hearts from the centre of the banner next to the Dino image.

The sentiment was from Lili of the Valley and has been coloured with ProMarker.  Finally I've used some pearl gems on the banner and just above it.

This is a perfect time to join us, as well as the Facebook Challenge starting today the Blog Challenge start tomorrow so don't forget to look out for that.

Nothing cute so cute

as tiny little baby feet.

I've coloured this new image Baby Feet available from SheepSki Designs with ProMarkers.  I wanted a very simple layout so the image remained the focus so I went with a CAS card.

The image was printed in the bottom corner of my card stock with the sentiment being produced on my lap top at the same time.

There's also a little pink ProMarker around the sentiment.

The design paper is from Lili of the Valley and all I've used are some silver and fuchsia sequins and some rhine stones.

Congratulations to Crafting Ang our fellow teamie who has just had a baby boy!!

To celebrate this Lizzy has created a special image and we're having a blog hop - woo hoo!!

Collect our letters along the way you'll need them to make up a sentence :D

I've coloured the image with ProMarkers, cut it out with a Spellbinders die and edged it with blue ProMarker.

The design papers are a combination from Maja Designs and First Edition.

The sentiment comes with the image too :D
Added extras some white satin ribbon, baby feet, silver dragonfly beads, gems and a baby charm all from my stash.

The clouds in the background were sketch with blue ProMarker (nearly forgot that bit LOL!)

Washing line

After doing baby boy card I've also done a baby girl card.  I'm prepared for either event now :D

I've used a beautiful little image from All Dressed Up called My Baby Shower.  I've coloured it in very pale pastels using ProMarkers.

The image has been cut out using a Spellbinders die and edges with pink ProMarker.

In the bottom left corner I've done a small arrangement of flowers from Live and Love Crafts and Wild Orchid Crafts.

I've also added three tiny silver dragonfly beads.

The papers are from Maja Designs and I've used a sentiments coloured with ProMarker from a Lili of the Valley art pad.

Other things I've used a some lace which I got from Hobby Craft, a pearl string which was from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The tiny silver bird I found in a local shop near me called SprinkLynn Gems.

That's my baby cards done - back to Christmas now :D

Sleeping under the stars

I'm really short of baby cards again - so when I saw this little image while I was browsing Christmas images the other day I thought it was just perfect.

The image is Sleep Tight from Tiddly Inks which I've coloured with ProMarkers.  It's been cut out with a Spellbinders die the edges with vintage photo distress ink from Tim Holtz.
I've also added some DecoArt glamour dust sprinkled onto the moon and stars.

The papers are from Maja Designs and First Edition.  All have been edged with vintage photo distress inks.

I've added a few stars and gems scattered across the card.  The wooden letters to make BABY were from a shop local to me called SprinkLynn Gems which I bought a while ago.

Right I'm prepared for someone else having a buy now :D

B is for BEAR!

B is for Bear is a beautiful image from All Dressed Up available from Etsy which I've used as my inspiration for you today for the new Challenge No 45.

I've coloured it with ProMarkers and added some black polychromos pencil for extra shading.

I've also added some tiny baby feet to the card which are Dress It Up Buttons and some blue pearlised gems to stick with the boy theme.
All the design papers have been distressed and are from Maja Design.  There's also a bit of left over scrap paper (not sure where this bits from).

The sentiment is from a Lili of the Valley Art pad which I've coloured wit ProMarker and to compliment the colours in the card I've also added some light brown pearlised gems.

There's lot more inspiration to be seen on the All Dressed Facebook page where we also have themed challenges (Spots and / or Stripes is the current one) - shhh.... not many people are enter these at the moment so you'll have a good chance on winning.

I'm also regularly pinning onto the All Dressed Up PInterest page.  All the DT's inspiration so you can see loads of creations there.

Baby's First Christmas

Lizzy has some new oddball Art images being released on Etsy today.  I've done two different versions of this image so you can see how versatile they can be.  Click here to see the second version.
I'm not sure you can use it for the current blog challenge which is Halloween but you could use him/her for the Facebook challenge which is anything goes.

The image and sentiment have been coloured with ProMarkers.  I've cut the image and sentiments out and distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Antique Linen.

The papers used are form Lili of the Valley and I've also used some plain black card stock.

Added extra are some green self adhesive gems and a red wooden heart which I've had since last Christmas - LOL!

I decided seen as he was so cute I'd make him into a baby's first Christmas card.  So I produced that sentiment on my computer and cut it out with a Spellbinders die before edging it with black biro.

Now you have to go seen my other card using the same image :D
