Cornflowers

The image has been coloured with Copics, a while gel pen and a black polychromos pencil.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design papers are from Hobby Craft and I've also used some black card for framing.

When I was putting the card together I'd got a LOT of blue ink on my thumb, which I then managed to transfer to the coloured image.  I hide it I added a silver dragonfly charm.  I thought it went well so I added a couple more ;)

The Friendship sentiment is a sticker from Tim Holtz.

Thank for popping by today, we hope to see you at the challenge

Two All Dressed Up Newbies

I'm showcasing a couple of new release images from All Dressed Up today

She's been coloured with Copics and I've kept the style simple.  The sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.

The design paper from Lemoncraft and black card to frame has been cut with a die.

********************************

Also coloured with Copics, it and the back card behind have been cut with Spellbinders dies.  The image has been distressed with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.  I've then sprinkled some embossing enamel around it.

The design papers are from Lemoncraft.  I've cut a couple of banners out with a La La Land die.

Added embellishments are silver dragonfly beads, Wild Orchid craft paper flowers, same lace, a pearl string and some pearl gems.

You can find more inspiration from the Dressy Girls today on the challenge blog and in the Facebook Group.

Unicorns & Rainbows

After saying to myself so many times I was not going to do this and go down the girly unicorn road - sigh!  Just look what I've gone and done......

This is my creation for the Outlawz Sketch challenge.  We, SheepSki Designs, are sponsoring them this month :)

So creating the typical girly unicorn card it HAD to have a rainbow.  This was the first thing I sketched in behind the image.  I then coloured the whole thing with Copics.  Starting with the background in case it went wrong or I hated it and had to bin it and start again LOL!!  I'm so happy to say I didn't have to do that.

Here's our Outlawz Sketch for the next two weeks

My design paper were all distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  They're from Hobby Craft and First Edition.  I've also used some black card for framing all the pinky elements so they stood out from each other.

The sentiment (coloured with Copics randomly) is from Lili of the Valley.  I've added a tiny pink paper flower from Hobby Craft to the left of it.  There are some tiny pink banners cut with a Fantasy Die at the top left, a pale aqua sequin and a few Rhine stones scattered around for interest.

The whole effect very girly and pink!

Thanks for popping by for a look today.  Hope we see you at the challenge

Daisy Panel

I'm slowly getting round to colouring up some of my newer images.  This one is Daisy Panel.  The daisies have been drawn from my mother in laws garden :)

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I'd actually printed it too large to cut it out with a die so I drew round one and hand cut it instead.  It was a bit rough when I'd done so I decided to distress it with a Tonic solutions tool to disguise it ;)

I've sprinkled a little embossing enamel around the image and used some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink at the edges.

I've used a mix of papers from Lemoncraft, First Edition and some other I'm having trouble identifying at the moment!  All the papers have also been distressed.

The vintage seam binding has been hand tied with a bow.  I've used a few daisies from Wild Orchid Crafts and a sentiment from Lili of the Valley and coloured with Copics.

Thanks for popping by for a look today

Monster Birthday

Our theme for this month over at All Dressed up in the Facebook Group is FOR THE BOYS.  It's Father's Day in June so I thought I'd set the ladies the task of boy cards to give you a little male inspiration :)

The image has been coloured with Copics.

I've used design papers from Hobby Craft to match the colours of the monsters and some black card for framing.

The letters were cut out of the same paper using Sizzix letters and I've also added a few enamel dots in matching colours.

Hope you like my inspiration for today.  Don't forget we also have the challenge blog as well as the Facebook Group.  You can find it here
