Sleeping

For our October challenge at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group our challenge theme is AUTUMN & / OR HALLOWEEN

I'm using Sleepy Time for my inspiration which you can find here in the shop

I've coloured the image with Copics and the fussy cut it out.  I wanted to make him a little cozy autumn scene.

My design papers are from First Edition.  I've used a die to cut the scalloped circle to expose the warm orangey background for the fox.  Onto this I've scattered a little embossing enamel.

There are a couple of trees cut with a die and then edged with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain ink.  I've had the leaves in my stash for a while, I believe I got the in Hobby Craft.

Just a few bear tails......

So I've had these little guys drawn for a while not but hadn't had chance to colour them until today :)

The image is called Bear Tails, you can find it here in the Etsy shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics and a while paid pen for the highlights.

The sentiment was created at the time of printing.  Just nice and simple today a single layered card with no embellishments :)

Just a little autumn thing

It's been a while since little Finnian has had an airing.  I thought I'd use him in my inspiration for our latest challenge at SheepSki Designs Blog Challenges.  Our theme for this month is Autumn.

He's been coloured with Copics and I've scattered some embossing enamel down one side of the rough path I'd sketched in.

The leave which I've overloaded over the last few days (you'll also see them in my next card) are from a bonus Kit & Clowder Colouring Class.  I fussy cut them after I'd coloured them.

My design paper is from Lili of the Valley and Joy Crafts and I've also used some black card.  The Autumn sentiment was cut out using letter dies.

My final addition are four tiny wooden hearts made into butterflies.

Elsa

I'm here today introducing Elsa properly.  She featured in a recent card I made using Honey n Money.  She was an added extra to the Owl and Pussy cat tale by request from one of my friends :)

I've used Copics to colour her with, then added a little black & white polychromos and while gel pen.

I've kept the design simple to showcase the image adding some yellow neon enamel dots, a couple of silver dragonfly charms and a birthday sentiment from Scrapiniec coloured with black Copic.

The design paper is from Studio Light and I've also added a little doodling for interest.

She's been created for a special birthday coming up soon :)

Honey Money n Elsa

I'm sharing a special creation with you today for my inspiration for the new challenge on the SheepSki Designs blog.  Our theme for this month is WINGS.

This image was created for a work colleague for their 10th wedding anniversary.  From this I've been able to add two extra images to my shop.  Honey n Money and Elsa.  You can find them in my shop where you can get 10% off all my images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout on Etsy.

My papers are black card and some DP from Hobbycraft.  The Words were printed directly onto the design paper and I spent ages drawing circles, distressing & layering :)

It's been coloured with Copics, then fussy cut to put onto the tag.

Here's out Sketch for today - now you get to see the tag I'm talking about ;)

I've used papers from Maja Design, Lili of the Valley and Studio Light.  Added to the tag are some different fibres in burgundy, two tiny wooden hearts, some brown rose trim and some word stickers from Tim Holtz.

The mushrooms are paper cut with a die from Joy Crafts.  The wispy grass stems are wood chip embellishments I got from Wild Orchid Crafts a couple of years ago.

This month at Outlawz Sketch we're using our favourite sketches from the 2016.  This weeks was picked by Pat :D

The image was coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  It,s been cut out with a Spellbinders die and then mounted onto some black card to frame it, this was also cut with a Spellbinders die.

Sleepy fox

I've coloured him with Copics and a dark red polychromos pencil.  I've cut a circle round the image (his tail hanging outside) then mounted him onto some black card stock cut with a Spellbinders die.

The design papers are from Joy Crafts and I've used some more card stock.  The only embellishments are some black gems and a sentiment from Scrapienic.

Silent woods

Meet Finnian (or Finn for short).  you can find Finnian in my Etsy shop for a special offer price this month.

He's a little Fennec Fox - they're tiny little foxes with REALLY BIG ears.  They're also really desert foxes but his colouring lends his a slightly spiritual look and with the theme being Story Time over at Markers Digis Papers I decided to sketch him in a woodland scene.

You can see the finished picture below which was coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

I was so pleased with how this came out, instead of making it into a card I've actually framed the picture to go on the wall.  Not sure I can part with him :D
