Coffee!!

It's Wednesday and time for our latest sketch challenge at Outlawz.

This month SheepSki Designs are sponsoring the ladies, so I get to use any image I want :)

I tried to go with images I'd already printed and found Coffee & Cake just waiting to be coloured.  You can find it here in the shop.

I coloured the image with Copics and used a white Acrylic paint pen.

This is our sketch for the month.

I've used design papers from Maja Design and Lemoncraft.  The image, turquoise design paper and coffee label have all been cut with dies.

There are just a few pearl and a turquoise gem to finish off, the sentiment is. woodchip one I've had in my stash for ages.

Birthday Cake

     Wow can you believe it's a new year!  So many of us will be so happy to see the back of 2020!

Our Facebook challenge at All Dressed up starts in the Facebook Group today, our theme this month is SOMETHING SIMPLE.

I've decided to make a happy birthday card for my inspiration today using Love to Bake, you can find it in the shop here.

The image has been coloured with Copics.

I've used some blue glitter papers and some design paper from First Edition to match the colours of the image.

The sentiment is a wood chip one coloured with Copics.

A favourite

It's been a while since I did this colour combination,  I've forgotten how much I love it.

I've created this card for our new SheepSki Designs Blog challenge themed USE LAYERS.

The images has been coloured with Copics, I've then cut it and the design paper behind it out with Spellbinders dies.

I've scattered a little embossing enamel around the image before layering up.

My design papers are all from First Edition and I've also added some spotty organza ribbon behind the image.

There's a mixture of flowers, a happy birthday sentiment coloured wit Copics and a few gems to finish.

CRAFT Challenge 537

Today is my final GDT card for CRAFT Challenge, thank you for having me as your Guest Designer this month <3  Our theme this month is Inspired by a Book

The challenge is sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls and Sweet & Sassy.

I had this image, Birthday Cake Cocoa and though it would be perfect.  The book I'm using today for my inspiration is Little Mouse's Birthday Cake.

The image has been coloured with Copic and a white gel pen.  I've sprinkled some embossing enamel around the image and cut it out with a Spellbinders die then distressed it with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Hotlz.  The stitching was drawn on with a pen.  Behind the image is a piece of black card cut with a Spellbinders die to frame the image.

It's the first time I've made a round card, the design paper was hand cut to shape and is from First Edition.  To finish I've added a few silver star charms and a birthday sentiment from Make It Crafty.

One I don't Usually Use

Today I'm sharing some inspiration with one of Wendy's new release images for May :)

This one is Cup Cake you can find her here in Wendy's shop

I'v used a colour combination I don't usually use for this card.  I'm loving how if came out though, I definitely need to use it again.  I've used Copics to colour the image.  Using a little of a very pastel shade of each to give it a soft glow behind the image.

I've not used any embellishments for this one just design papers from Hobbycraft and Lemoncraft.  The Lemoncraft paper was cut with a die which I got from Dies to Die for at one of my Copic colouring  classes with Faye :)

One of my faves

This creation is for the latest SheepSki Designs challenge on the blog.  I though it was time to join my lovely ladies again :)

Our theme for this month is your favourite colour(s).  Now if you know me you probably know my favourite colour is pink.  However, when combining colours, purple & blue is a firm favourite for me!

I'd drawn this image ages ago and decided to use it for the challenge inspiration.  It's called Coffee n Cake (also two of my favourites LOL!!). You can find this in my Etsy shop here where you can also get 10% off all my images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I was very fortunate that around the time I drew the image Alyce (Kit & Clowder) also did a tutorial on colouring a coffee cup and cake as well.  She shows you how to create the froth on top of the coffee - brilliant!!  If you're not already familiar with Kit & Clowder you can find them here.

Here's the actual image so you can see my favourite colour combination together.

For the card I've used design papers from Hobbycraft and Lili of the Valley.  I've also used some black card.

The sentiment in from Make It Crafty.  I've coloured it in blues to match the rest of the card.  I was also lucky enough to find a purple enamel heart.  Its form a pack of sticky shapes I found in Hobbycraft.

Want that cake

Finally found time to finish another Kit & Clowder Class.  I started this a few weeks ago, it's been sitting on my shelf since then.  But last night I had a spare couple of hours before my next lot of DT work.  So rather than drawing etc.  I decided to get some more colouring practice in :D

Coloured with Copics, this is one of the markers classes, I've also used black and white polychromos pencils and a white gel pen.

I printed the sentiment at the same time as the image, it's a Make It Crafty one.  Showcasing the image I've made a single layer CAS card and just added a sequin and a few rhine stones for interest.

Kitten Cup Cake

The image I'm using for my inspiration for this weeks challenge is Cupcake Kitty.  I've coloured the image with Copics, a white gel pen and a black polychromos pencil.  I also decided to try doing a long haired furry kitty LOL!!

I've also used some of the techniques from a Kit & Clowder class - check them out here.

The image and black frame have been cut with a die from My Favorite Things.

Apart from using some more black card my design paper is from Lemoncraft. I've just selected one paper which is a hot pink for maximum impact.

I've used some ribbon from my stash ad some black gems.  Finally we have a Sweet sentiment which is woodchip from Scrapiniec.
