Romeo for Valentines

Just popping a card in for the inspiration at SheepSki Designs in the Facebook group.  The challenge starts today.

I thought I'd show how Romeo doesn't just have to be used for Christmas cards :D

I've coloured him with Copics and scattered some embossing enamel as I would for a winter / Christmas card.  However, I've used mostly reds which are perfect with the snow heart he's drawing.

There's some design paper for matting behind the image from Joy Crafts, then I've used some off cuts of paper to make a banner for interest and a heart left over from a die cut banner.  The sentiment is made up from Tim Holtz stickers.

A Spark....

Today is Outlawz Sketch day, we've changed to a monthly blog for this year.

We're sponsored this month by Graciellie, the image I'm using for my inspiration is part of the Start Anew Magnolia digital set

The image has been coloured with Copics, I'v e also used a green sparkly gel pen to add some interest to the green ferns.

The sentiment comes as part of the set,  I've used the same Copics to add some colour for interest to the sentiment.

This is our sketch fro the month.

The design paper is from Lemoncraft.  I've distressed that and the image card with a Tonic Studios tool.  The only embellishment I've added is a white paper flower.

Hello Gorgeous Autumn!

Yup I know it's way way off autumn in the UK, but I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Rabisco Challenge this time and this was one of the awesome All Dressed Up images to create with :)

She's called Acorn Fairy, you can find her here in the shop

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've them fussy cut her.

I got a Gel Press for Christmas, the background behind the image was the result from a first session playing with inks and a flowery Tim Holtz stencil.

All I've added to the card after that was a wood chip sentiment coloured with Copics.

Happy 2023 everyone, hope it's a wonderful year for everyone.

Today is our All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge, this time out theme is Make It Cute (not very hard to do with Wendy's images!)

I'm using Pitter Patter Rain Drops for my inspiration today, you can find it here in the shop.

The images has been coloured with Copics in a clean and simple design to showcase the image.

I've used some UHK scrapbooking paper and some black card for matting.

The two tiny banners have been cut with a die and the hearts are also from the middle of a banner die.  I've added a few extra gems to the card as well.

Fishing Season

Welcome to 2023!!  Hope its a wonderful and happy new year for everyone.

We're having a Design Team call at SheepSki Designs at the moment, check out the Facebook Group pinned / featured posts for the details.

We're all about SEASONS at SheepSki Designs on the blog challenge this month.  As well as the regular spring, summer, autumn and winter, we're sure we can all think of many more.  I'm using fishing season for mine :D

The image I'm using is called Gone Fishing, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured it with Copics and then distressed the image and all papers with a Tonic Solutions tool.

You can also see I've scattered some embossing enamel onto the image to reflect snow.

My design papers are from Maja Designs and First Edition.  I've added a few wooden snow flakes, a sequin, some gems and a wooden sentiment all from Hobby Craft.
