A Little Red Postbox

It's time for our next Christmas challenge at Outlawz (check it out here).  You can make anything you like as long as its Christmassy :)

I've used one of my own images Christmas Post Box for this one, inspired by a trip up to the Lake District where we saw a post box like this in a wall!

I've coloured the image with Copics and just added a wooden sentiment from Hobby Craft.

I've coloured the image with Copics

Just a simple layout with the image edged with green glitter paper from Hobbycraft to match to image colour theme.

Totally Christmas

 Yes this year I've joined the new team at Outlawz for our Christmas Challenge, hopefully so I'm more prepared for the season rather than running round last minute making Christmas cards!

This is my creation for our second challenge (check it out here).  You can make anything you like as long as its Christmassy :)

I've used an image from All Dressed Up called Snowman Hugs.  I've coloured the image with Copics, then added some embossing enamel for more snow!

I've used some design paper from my stash to match the snowman's scarf.  Also used a tiny Merry Christmas wooden sentiment from Hobby Craft.  Thanks for popping by, hopefully see you at the challenge :)

Having fun on an icy day

We've our challenge starting at All Dressed Up in the Facebook group today.  This month we'd like to

 see your creations "WITH ANIMALS".

I've chosen to use Penguin Fun, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.  I've coloured the image with Copics and sprinkled a little embossing enamel around for added snow.

Here's the finished card, using some pale blue design paper and matting.

My tree....

Its the first Wednesday of the month which means its time for our Outlawz Sketch challenge.

We've no sponsor this month, so that means we can use whatever we like for our inspiration this time :)

I've chosen to use Tree Topper from Saturated Canary, I've had this image in my stash for a long, log time and not used it.

I used to use this colour combination a lot, being one of my favourites.  I'd not used it for a while, so thought I'd try a non-traditional coloutews Christmas card with it - and I love how it came out!

The image has been coloured with Copics.  The snow was created using white embossing enamel

These are our sketch hints for this month.

My design paper is from Lily of the Valley, I've cut the Xmas Tree sentiment out using letter dies.  My only embellishment a silver glitter star.

Snow Ride

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  For my inspiration today I'm using the very cute image Snow Rdie, you can find it here in Wendy's shop

I've coloured the image with Copics, showcasing it with a hint of blue background.

My Design paper is from Studio Light, the banner made up from scraps of left over papers.

No embellishments or sentiments on this one, that was it can either be a winter birthday card or a Christmas card :)

I've chosen to use Santa Post for my inspiration.

The image has been coloured with Copics then hand cut into a square.

I've used rectangles in the background papers from the sketch hint.  My design papers are from Maja Design and I've also used some black card.

I've added a simple wooden Marry Christmas sentiment which I got in Hobby Craft.

I've chosen to use Silly Chilly Stan form Oddball Art, trying to make sure I get a few early Christmas cards made.

The image has been coloured with Copics, the snow created by adding some embossing enamel.  I've cut the image and the glittery chite background out using Spellbinders dies.

As you can see I did one circle extra using a circular card as well hee hee.....well the hints are just there to use as inspiration!

Getting one in early

Romeo for Valentines

Just popping a card in for the inspiration at SheepSki Designs in the Facebook group.  The challenge starts today.

I thought I'd show how Romeo doesn't just have to be used for Christmas cards :D

I've coloured him with Copics and scattered some embossing enamel as I would for a winter / Christmas card.  However, I've used mostly reds which are perfect with the snow heart he's drawing.

There's some design paper for matting behind the image from Joy Crafts, then I've used some off cuts of paper to make a banner for interest and a heart left over from a die cut banner.  The sentiment is made up from Tim Holtz stickers.

Fishing Season

Welcome to 2023!!  Hope its a wonderful and happy new year for everyone.

We're having a Design Team call at SheepSki Designs at the moment, check out the Facebook Group pinned / featured posts for the details.

We're all about SEASONS at SheepSki Designs on the blog challenge this month.  As well as the regular spring, summer, autumn and winter, we're sure we can all think of many more.  I'm using fishing season for mine :D

I've coloured it with Copics and then distressed the image and all papers with a Tonic Solutions tool.
