Making Hearts

This is a new image called Making Hearts, its not been in my shop long.  Instead on one person making a heart with their hands I thought it would be kinda cool to try and do a boy and girl making the heart together :)

The image has been coloured with Cpics in one of my favourite colour combinations.

All my design papers and the image were distressed with a tonic solutions tool.

The design papers are all from Maja Design and I've also used a bit of black card to frame the image.

My final touches were to add some bling with a couple of sequins and gems in different purples to add to coordinate with the image.

The love sentiment is from the wedding section at Hobby Craft :)

Just sharing a very simple card with you today, design this way to showcase the image and also if anyone wants me to customise it I can :)

The image is a new release from SheepSki Designs called My Music showing a teenage girl listening to her music on a summer day.

I've coloured the image with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Doodled a border and Kraft seemed the perfect way to go to frame her,  I've also added a few rhine stones for a bit of interest and bling.

Selfie

There seems to be an obsession at the moment with younger generation females to take selfies.  You know you've seen them do it or the resulting pictures - they're everywhere.

So I though ok lets create an image of a your lady doing just that.  I can image this image Selfie Obsession will have a limited shelf life?  Well we'll see.....

I've coloured this image with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  Cleating a CAS card I've mounted it onto some back card stock.  I've used a different method to distress the edges of this image by using my craft knife and flicking it up the edge of my card when it was mounted onto the backing card.

Finishing touches are a selfie tag wood chip element and a camera both coloured with block Copic.

Country Girl

It was about this time last year I first created and we at Outlawz Sketch used this image Annabel.  so I thought I'd use it in my inspiration today.  She's available in my shop if you haven't seen her before.

She's been coloured with ProMarkers, cut out and the edges distressed with Shaded Lilac ink from Tim Holtz.

Beanie Babe

I launched this image a couple of weeks ago.  She's a young trendy thing called Rachel wearing a beanie hat.  Hopefully she's going to be a versatile image that can be used for all sorts of occasions.

For this card I've coloured her with a compination of Copics and ProMarkers.  She's then been fussy cut ready for mounting onto the card.

Here's a close up of my flower arrangement.  Used in this are flowers, leaves and chipboard from The Ribbon Girl, Wild Orchid Crafts, Live & Love Crafts, Hobby Craft (wedding section) and Scrapienic.  

Towards the bottom you can also see some organza rose trim ribbon.

I've made a very pink shaped card so all the papers have been hand cut to share and size.  These are from Lili of the Valley and First Edition.  I've chosen to do a non traditional colour - pink for breast cancer awareness :D

The snowflakes are Scrapienic wood chip, there a re a few pearl gems and the whole card has had lashings of DecoArt loose glitter applied to finish the Christmassy feel.
