Girly Unicorn Tag

I'm sharing my latest GDT inspiration for Colour Crazy Craft Challenge today.  We're sponsored by Polkadoodles this time :)

This image is called Special Time - Sparkle Unicorn.

I've coloured her with Copics in bright pink and green party colours.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.

The design paper is from Hobby craft and I've cut the tag out with a die.  The image was hand cut to fit with some black card to mat it on.  A couple of green enamel dots and a couple or pink gems to match and then a few pink ribbons from my stash to finish.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've added a wood chip sentiment coloured with Copics a few gems and a star to the background.

GDT at CCC Digi Creations

I'm honoured today to be a Guest Designer at CCC Digi Creations.  There them is Sparkle and / or Shine

 

I'm using Mindy's Surprise Party for my inspiration.  I've coloured the image with Copics giving some shine to her balloons, hair, streamers and confetti.

Around the image you can also see a few gems to add to the confetti.

I've created a simple single layers with an added red bank at the bottom.  The sentiment is made up from Tim Holtz stickers.

I've coloured it with Copics leaving plenty of room to add a large sentiment from Make It Crafty.

I've done the sentiment background with black Copic keeping the theme of the card simple to make the coloured image pop more.

Whilst colouring the image I think my Copics may have been a bit "juicy" when I took the cap off one of them it splashed creating a dot.  To disguise this I've added lots more different coloured dots :)

I've used some black card and a simple black and white design paper.  Then a few neon enamel dots to finish.

One I don't Usually Use

Today I'm sharing some inspiration with one of Wendy's new release images for May :)

This one is Cup Cake you can find her here in Wendy's shop

I'v used a colour combination I don't usually use for this card.  I'm loving how if came out though, I definitely need to use it again.  I've used Copics to colour the image.  Using a little of a very pastel shade of each to give it a soft glow behind the image.

I've not used any embellishments for this one just design papers from Hobbycraft and Lemoncraft.  The Lemoncraft paper was cut with a die which I got from Dies to Die for at one of my Copic colouring  classes with Faye :)

Special Day

Today is a special day for me (us) it's our wedding anniversary, goodness know where the last few years have gone!

I've used Valentine for this card which you can find in my shop here, where you can get 10% off this and all my images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

We love hiking in the lakes so I thought using Valentine to make a scene of a couple watching a sunset would be very appropriate for us.

I've roughly sketch an outline of hill in the background and a few clouds.

The scene has been coloured with Copics.  I've done it as a single layer card - nothing else needed really :)

Up up and away

We've finally managed to crawl out way through January LOL!!

So as it's the 1st of the month it means it's All Dressed Up Facebook challenge inspiration day :)

Our theme for this month is ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.  You can interpret this any way you like, Valentines, Weddings, Anniversaries, Friends....

I've chones to make a Valentines card but not a traditional red one.  My theme is grey and orange using Be My Valentine which you can find in Wendy's shop here.  I've used Copics to colour the card with.  The clouds were created using a stencil from one of Alyce's Kit & Clowder classes and I've used some of the techniques from this class as well.

I've framed the image with some black card and used some design paper from Hobbycraft.

The final addition was to add some orange enamel dots that I've had in my stash for ages.

One of THOSE cards.....

I've tried to create something different today and am out of my comfort zone, but you have to test yourself or else how do you grow!  White space uggghhh!!  It scares me LOL!!

Anyhow....  This is a new image in my shop just called plain and simply I Love You.  Just because that's what's written in the balloon strings.

It was one of THOSE cards.   This was not my first attempt, I had several terrible colourings and one failed card before I eventually got it something like passable!  The image has been coloured with Copics.  Because I needed to cover up some of that white space I sprinkled some embossing enamel, actually lots of embossing enamel.  Underneath the image I've added a section of burgundy ribbon.

I wanted to try to do a card with a panel down one side, I've used some black card and design paper from First Edition I think it was (it's a bit that was left over in my scraps box).  After putting the card together I noticed I'd smudged some red ink (my fingers were covered in it after all the colouring attempts).  To cover the inky stain up I added some red and white twine tied in a bow.  I then had this HUGE white space down the left side. So I had to add some red and black gems to cover it up a bit.  CAS card ROLF who am I trying to kid!!!  Over to the experts....

This image was coloured with Copics, I've also used a white gel pen.

Designs papers are framed with black card to make the layers pop out.

The design papers are a recent addition to my paper addiction - they're from First Edition.

The heart ribbon and purple ribbon have been in my ribbon box for ages, I though they went perfectly.

I'v also used a heart which if a left over from a die cut from La La Land.

The for you are tiny word stickers from Tim Holtz.
