Ok so maybe I could get hooked

Yes it was a little challenging and REALLY outside my comfort zone but I just love how this came out.  Maybe, just maybe I could have a go at making a few more digital cards :)

Before I go on to show you my card this is our sketch for the next two weeks

So I've taken some photos of papers from First Edition, then pasted them into my software app and layered them up.  Huge learning curve but so love the result!

Monochrome & Sparkle

The days are flying by, I can hardly keep up :)

It's sketch time at Outlawz again, we're sponsored this month by Beccy's Place.

I'm using a silhouette for my inspiration today.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

I've decided to make a monochrome card using design papers from Maja Design and First Edition.

I've added some back ric rac ribbon, for some sparkle a few silver sequins, rhine stones and then a sentiment made from Tim Holtz stickers.

Just a simple card.....

She has some awesome images on her site.  The one I've used for my inspiration today is just called silhouette.  I thought it was just beautiful when I saw it.  It actually comes with a sentiment, which I've added to the inside of my card.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

I've printed the image on design paper from Lili of the Valley.  I've also used some black card and design paper from Joy Craft.

I've added some purple matching polkadot organza ribbon, some black gems and a sentiment made up from Tim Holtz stickers.
