Timeless

Its new challenge day at Outlawz Sketch, this month we have no sponsor, so I've chosen to use an image from Conie Fong called Lavender's Blue.

The image has been coloured with Coics, then fussy cut to go onto the card.

This is our sketch for April.

I've chosen to do a clean styles card just cutting some design paper from Hobby Craft in similar colours to the image with a Spellbinders die to mat the image onto.

I've added a simple sentiment using a Tim Holtz sticker.  No embellies or anything, so unlike me ;)
Thanks for popping by for a look today, we hope to see you at the challenge

Creating a CAS styled card I've just added a Let It Snow Sentiment from Lili of the Valley and used some design paper for framing by Joy Craft.

In the snow

The theme for this weeks Christmas card is pink and white, however because penguins are "usually" black I've done this one a pale grey to blend in with the pink but not be too over powering.

This little guy has been coloured with Copics, it's from Connie Fong called Dancing in the Snow.  I've actually found my liquid pearls now we've moved and I'm starting to get things sorted, I've used this to highlight the snow.

My designs papers from Teresa Collins and the image have all been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Three glitter wooden snowflakes and a white wooden Noel sentiment finish off the card along with a section of snowball trim :)

Hope you like my Christmas card for this week

Conversion

Take one ordinary image, colour it red and green and add a Christmas sentiment - e voila - she's been turned into a Christmas card :D

This little cutie Precious from Conie Fong is my latest inspiration for the Outlawz Sketch challenges.  Our prize for this month is from the Sketch team.
Prescious has been coloures with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  Cut out with a Spellbinders die I've distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Antique Linen and Vintage Photo ink.

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from Maya Design and Lemoncraft.

Some wood chip banners from Scrapienic, some black gems and a small wooden heart sentiment from Hobby craft complete the card.

Hope to see you at the challenge

Snow kitten

We've reached U at The ABC Challenge which is for Unconventional.  We'd like to see your Christmas cards but NOT in traditional colours :D

We're sponsored by Conie Fong this time and I've used her image Sally and Snowball.  Last time I used them I did them in red and white so thought I'd see what they looked like in pastels.
I've used ProMarkers to colour them, then fussy cut the image out.
The design papers are from First Edition.

For the hilly snowy scene and trees I've used some white card stock cutting it with Spellbinders dies and Marianne Creatables.

The edges of these have been distressed with Milled Lavender ink from Tim Holtz and lashings of DecoArt glitter.

The silver glitter sentiment is a wooden embellishment from Hobby Craft.  I've doodles a biro border and added three tiny silver gems

Love to see you at the challenge with you non traditional Christmas cards

Three

Can you believe we're onto T already at the ABC Challenge?  For this one we'd like to see three of something on your creations.

We're sponsored this month by Marianne Design so you could alway use three die cuts like me :D
For my three theme I've used three papers, three butterflies, three black gems, three purple gems and three colours of purple flowers.

I've used an image from Conie Fong called Leilani coloured with ProMarkers.  She's been cut out with a Spellbinders die and edges with Miler Lavender ink from Tim Holtz.

The design papers are Lili of the Vally, Joy Crafts and plain black paper.

Here's a close up of the flowers I've used from The Ribbon Girl and some wood chip elements from Scrapienic.

The butterflies were cut out using some Spellbinders butterfly dies.  I've used two papers and glued them together before mounting onto the card.

My final embellishments are a love sentiment from Scrapienic and some purple and black gems.

Love to see what you come up with

Sally & Snowball

I'm honoured to be a guest designer at Scrapping4Fun today, their theme is Christmas.

It was a perfect opportunity for me to use this little cutie from Conie Fong that I won a while ago Sally and Snowball.

I've coloured the image using Copics, distressed the edges with black soot ink from Tim Holtz.  All the design papers have been distressed using a Tonic Solutions tool.  The design papers are from Maja Design and Lemoncraft.

I've used some holly chip board elements from Scrapienic, a few black gems, some tiny red paper flowers from Hobby Craft, a couple of red pins that came as a free gift and the large red fabric flowers are from Petaloo.

Hope you love my inspiration and you join them for the challenge

O for Open

Wow can you believe how fast this year is going.  September today!  The new challenge we have at the ABC Challenge is O if for Open.  Meaning...... ANYTHING GOES ladies!

This challenge is sponsored by Conie Fong and Bunny Zoe, Conie's images are so beautiful - this one you can see here is Lavender's Blue.  I've coloured it with proMarker and added a little black polychromos for extra shading.

Around the image you can see some emossing enamel.  The edges have bee distressed before mounting onto some white card stock.

The design papers are from First Edition, Studio 75 and Maja Design.  Some of these has been distressed as well.

Behind the image you can see a heart doily.  At the top of the card a flat back pearl string and at the bottom some organza rose trim which I got from Wild Orchid Crafts.

There's a mixture of flowers from The Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts.

My final additions two silver dragonfly charms and some pearl gems.

Hope you love my inspiration and we see you at the challenge.
