It's an animal thing.....

Our third Facebook challenge of the year is here.  This month we'd like to see your creations with aninmals the theme, "IT's AN ANIMAL THING".

For my inspiration today I'm using Star Pup, it's not in Wendy's shop at the moment, but if you like him send Wendy a message and she'll be able to help you out ;) 

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I wanted to keep a simple colour pallet so have used blues with a pop of brown.  The edges of the image have been distressed with a tool.

My design paper are from Maja Design and Hobby Craft.  I've used some Spellbinders letter for the sentiment.

Birthday

The image had been coloured with Copics, the card created for someones birthday, but can't mention who's in case they've taken a peak ;)

I've coloured her in one of my favourite colour combinations to make her lovely and girly.  She's got some while acrylic paint spots and I've also used some embossing enamel in the background.

We're back after our break at All Dressed Up!

For our 1st February Facebook Challenge the them is CUTENESS OVERLOAD!

I've chosen to use Present Surprise for my inspiration, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.

 

I've coloured the image with Copics in blue and lime green to make it pop.

I've found some design papers in similar colours from Maja Design and Studio Lite.

The sentiment is made up from Tim Holtz stickers.

We'll be back on 7th February for some new release inspiration.

Bit of a Green Thing Going on....

 Today is our new challenge day at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.

This month we'd love to see your layered cards.

I've chosen to use Christmas Tree Fairy for my inspiration, which I've coloured with Copics and a white acrylic pen.

I've lots of layers here with lots of design papers from First Edition, Lemoncraft, some scraps and black card.

Very unusual for me on this style of card, there are no embellies at all - what happened to me LOL!!

Christmas Sparkle....

Today is our Facebook Challenge day at All Dressed Up.  the theme for this month is Gems / Sparkle / Shine.

I've chosen to use All Dressed Up for Christmas for my inspiration, she's one of my favourites!  You can find her here in Wendy's shop.

I've coloured her with Copics giving her a fairy green glow.  I've sprinkled some embossing enamel around to add to a starry background.

I've used recycled some cardboard for the base cutting it with a die and then layered up the glitter paper and hand cut image.

I've added a tiny silver star to the sky and then used a selection of ribbons from my stash.

White, Black and Gold

It's Wednesday and Outlawz Sketch day.  We're sponsored this month by All Dressed Up.

I'm using Christmas Presents for my inspiration, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.

The image has been coloured with Copics and then fussy cut.

This is our sketch for the next two weeks.

I decided to use some Christmas papers from Dovecraft, matched with design paper from 13@Arts and some black card.  The tag was cut out with a die.

 

No embellishments apart from a thin section of ribbon for the tab and to match in with the sketch theme.

Its a Stack

Needing to get my skates on and get a few Christmas card made :)

I'm using Stack for my inspiration for the SheepSki Designs blog inspiration today, where the challenge is FEATURE A CREATURE.  You can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured the image with Copics, creating a snowy night scene with traditional Christmas colours.

I've used some red card to mat it and embossing enamel for snow.  I was concentrating so much on the snow at the bottom of the card I made have gone a bit overboard with the snow in the night sky haha!

The sentiment was created at the time I printed the image.

GDT at CCC Digi Creations

I'm honoured today to be a Guest Designer at CCC Digi Creations.  There them is Sparkle and / or Shine

 

I'm using Mindy's Surprise Party for my inspiration.  I've coloured the image with Copics giving some shine to her balloons, hair, streamers and confetti.

Around the image you can also see a few gems to add to the confetti.

I've created a simple single layers with an added red bank at the bottom.  The sentiment is made up from Tim Holtz stickers.

Time for Presents

It's Outlawz Sketch day :)

This month we're being sponsored by Di's Digi's she has such cute images!

For my inspiration today I'm using Bearing Presents.

I've coloured them image with Copics and them cut the oval shape to link in with the sketch and fussy cut around the bear.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design papers are from Joy Craft, Santoro and Prima Marketing.

No embellis today as I was making an unfussy boys card :)

All I've added is a Happy Birthday sentiment from Lili of the Valley.
