Knitting Time

We're back after our break :)

We've our challenge starting at All Dressed Up in the Facebook group today.  This month we'd like to see your creations "FOR THE GIRLS".

I've chosen to use Love to Knit, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.  I've coloured her with Copics and sprinkled a little embossing enamel around for some added interest.

Here's the finished card, using black card, some design paper from Lemon Craft and a sentiment made up from Tim Hotlz stickers.

The challenge blog ladies will be here back on 7th February with some new release inspiration.

Thanks a Bunch

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  For my inspiration I have a little shabby chic creation to share.

I'm using Thanks a Bunch, a new beautiful floral image, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.

I've coloured the image with Copics in soft pinks and warm browns.

There's some embossing enamel sprinkled around and a few pink pearls.

 

Behind the image is some design paper from Maja Design, some craft card and fabric gauze.  The papers have all been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Final additions are some string (from a clothing tag) and a sentiment (a Tim Holtz sticker).

I've coloured her in one of my favourite colour combinations to make her lovely and girly.  She's got some while acrylic paint spots and I've also used some embossing enamel in the background.

 Today is new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up, for this one I'm using Potted Plants for my inspiration.  When I showed my hubby the card he said it reminded him of me :)

I've coloured her with Copics on one of my favourite colour combinations, pink and black.

My design paper are from 13Arts, Lemoncraft and Craftwork cards.  I've also used some black card.

The "beautiful" sentiment with roses I've cut out using a Spellbinder's die.  Finally a few black gems.

Pink and black, a new favourite

It's time for our next sketch at Outlawz Sketch.

We've no sponsor this month, so I've chosen to use Miyabi from Aurora Wings for my inspiration.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've cut her out by hand and framed her with design paper from Maja Design using a Spellbinders die.

This is our sketch from 7th February to 5th March.

 

The rest of my design papers are from Maja Design and 13 Arts.  I've also used a strip of ribbon from my stash.

Pastel pink roses

I'm doubling up on this one today.  I've created tis for the Outlawz Sketch challenge which starts today.  SheepSki Designs are sponsoring them this month :)

Daisy

Our new challenge as SheepSki Designs for March is all about Flowers.

I've using Gerbera Daisy for my inspiration, you can find it in the shop here where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics and I've also used a polychromos pencil for some of the finer lines.

A scattering of embossing enamel for interest, a mum sentiment cut from pink design paper using a Sizzix letter die set.  A few pink hearts left over from another banner heart die and a layered paper banner complete the card.

New me.........

I know the idea is good but I'm sure I'm not going to be lifting weights like this, unless they're feathers haha!

This is one of Wendy's newly released images for January.  You can find New Me in her Etsy shop here.

The images has been coloured with Copics in one of my favourite colour combinations, pink and teal.

I've used a mix of design papers from First Edition, Santoro and Maja Design.  One section was cut with a die from Dies to Die for.

The banner section at the bottom was hand cut and I've added a few pink pearls to finish.

Little pink smoochy bear

Our theme for July at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group is FOR THE KIDZ.

I've never made a baby tag before and I had some card to recycle, so here it is :)

I love this little bear called A Star is Born, you can find it here in Wendy's shop

The images was coloured with Copics.  Once I'd coloured it I then scattered some embossing enamel for a bit of interest.

Cut out with a die the images is frames with appropriately pink glitter paper.  My finishing touches are a few different pink and cream ribbons and a tiny silver star charm.

Pink Daisies

My friend picked a design she liked, said her aunt likes pink and it was her 80th birthday.  So this was what I came up with.

The image is called Daisy Panel, you can find it in the shop here, where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image was coloured with Copics and hand cut out in an oval shape.  The edges distressed with vintage photo ink from Tim Holtz and a Tonic Solutions tool.  I've then scattered some embossing enamel over the top.

Doing onto the background, the distressed design papers are from Lemoncraft.  The Scroll I discovered I could print from my laptop onto some design paper, which I then added a little extra colour to with Copics.

Finishing off we have some vintage seam binding with a hand tied bow, some pink pearls and some pink daisies.  Looking forward to hearing the reaction :)

My favourite colour is.......

Today is our new challenge day at All Dressed Up with the Facebook Group.  The theme for this month is "My Favourite Colour Is...."

I've used one of the Girls from the Wear with Style digital stamp set, you can find it here.

I'm playing around with pink combinations with my Copics at the moment, this one has ended up a little more poppy that I wanted, but of course I'm still happy because it's in my favourite colour.

The design papers I've used are scraps left over, I just cut them into banner shapes and layered them.  Over the top of this is an enamel and Rhine stone daisy charm.  I've had it so long I can't even remember where I got it, possibly Amazon.

The sentiment is one of Zoe's chippies I got from Make It Crafty, sadly no longer available.

My final touch was a bit of bling with the gems.

This is my second lot of inspiration for Outlawz Sketch using Papers Nest Dolls images.  They're our sponsor for the month :)

I'm using Sitting with Teddy this time.  I've coloured the image with Copics before framing it with dark pink design paper.  If you haven't already guessed pink might just be my favourite colour ;)

Raining pink hearts

So this was so much fun to colour and make in girly pink :)

I'm using Puddles of Kitty Love from Knitty Kitty Digis today, they're sponsoring us at Outlawz Sketch this month.

AND if you haven't noticed it's Christmas Day today so I hope you all have a great one!

I've coloured the image with Copics then cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  The edges have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Behind the image the design paper has been cut in a scalloped circle with another Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design papers from Lemoncraft have also been distressed with the Tonic Solutions tool.  The paper flowers are a selection from my stash and I've also used some pearls.

The sentiment you can see here in one from Make It Crafty and was the last thing I added.
