Rudolf's Little Helper

Oh dear I seem to be getting into gnomes a bit.  I've drawn this one, Rudolf's Little Helper which you can find in the shop here, and Garden Party you can find here.  You can blame Tong Garden Centre.  I went Christmas shopping there a few weeks ago and the place is filled with gnomes LOL!!

I've coloured the image with Copics, the snow is a combination of Snowtex, DecoArt Glitter and Stampendous embossing enamel.  I just wanted a really snowy scene for this one.

At the top you can see white card cut with an icicle die, I've then added DecoArt glitter to it.  The card is frames with Kraft card and I've finished off with a sentiment from Hobby Craft.

Getting into the spirit my hubby is a bit Bah Humbug coz I keep singing Christmas songs to myself, snigger!!

Wishing it was summer

I have the happy honour today of joining Rabisco challenge as a Guest Designer.

We have two sponsors All Dressed Up and Lia Stamps.  I'm actually using just one of the girls from Wendy's Summer Hols image which you can find here.  It's pretty chilly and miserable here in the UK so I thought it a lovely image to use making me think of warmer summer days :)

The image have been coloured with Copics.  I've used a die cut on some black card and design paper from 13 Arts.

I've kept the card in a clean and simple design just adding a few gems and a sentiment from Scrapiniec coloured with black Copic.

CRAFT Challenge for this week is Christmas.  I'm honoured to be invited to take part as a guest designer.  Even better, using one of my favourite artists Lizzy from Oddball Art.  I really miss designing regularly with her images.

The image, which I printed really large, has been coloured with Copics.  Creating a single layer card I've let the colouring have full impact.

A scattering of white embossing enamel for snow and a Happy Christmas sentiment from Scrapiniec complete it.

Snowy Truck

A new month and a new sponsor at Outlawz Sketch.  I love this image Worn Out Truck from Createful Heart.

I'm trying to get into Christmas card mode so I've decided to make a wintery scene for this one.

The image is coloured with Copics, I've scattered some white embossing enamel for snow as well as using a white polychromos pencil.  For the snow on the truck and ground I've used Snowtex.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design paper has been in my stash for ages, it's from Bo Bunny and I've used some black card.

The sentiment is a Scrapiniec on and I've used some black pearls to finish.

Autumn Owl

I'm a little late sharing my new release image inspiration for All Dressed Up tonight.  The weather has been really miserable all day and floods have held me up.

I'm using Autumn Owl which you can find here in Wendy's shop

I've coloured with image with Copics and a white gel pen.  The clouds were done by colouring the background pale blue and then sketching in the clouds with a darker marker.  I then blended out.  I love the way they've come up all fluffy!

I've doodle a few birds into the background, sprinkled some embossing enamel with blue glitter around, distressed the edges of the image with a Tonic solutions tool, finally added a sentiment from Make It Crafty chippies.

Just so happy

This has got to be one of my favourite images from Wendy :)  You can find It's Snowing here in her Etsy shop

I'm using it for my inspiration for the November All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge.  This month's theme is Christmas Is Coming!

The image has been coloured with Copics, I've scattered white embossing enamel around the image for the snow, it's perfect for this :)

To follow colour scheme of the image I've used black card and design paper from Joy Craft.

My finishing touches are a stripped ribbon from my stash and a sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with black Copic.

Vintage White

This is the last image for the month from Aurora Wings our sponsor of the month over at Outlawz Sketch.

I've used Clara today, you can find her here.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I wanted her to have a white vintage styles dress and I've achieved this using warm greys.  The pop of colour has been given to the nutcracker toy she's holding.

Around the images I've scattered some white embossing enamel.

The edges of the image and all my papers have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  The image has also been distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz to take away some white.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design paper is from Maya Design and I've also used some dark red card.

Behind the image your can see some cream satin ribbon edged in gold.  I've finished it off with a wooden sentiment from Hobby Craft and a tiny wooden holly embellishment that I found at the bottom of one of my boxes ;)
