Snowbordin' Snowman

I'm sharing one of my new images with you today in my plan to try and get ahead with Christmas cards......

This little guy is called Snowboardin.  You can find him here in my Etsy shop where you can get him and all my other images with 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured him in non traditional colours using my Copics and a white gel pen.  I've scattered lots of white embossing enamel for extra snow.

The edges of the image and design paper have all been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  The design papers used on this card are from First Edition.

Added extras, wooden snow flakes, tiny silver snowflake charms and a couple of glittery Christmas trees I've had in my stash for ages.

Hoot no Evil

It's the last week of the month to showcase my inspiration for Outlawz Sketch.  We're Sponsored by Knitty Kitty Digis this month.  I've created a little night scene using Hearnoevil, Seenoevil Hootnoevil

The images has been coloured with Copics and I've created a textures night sky background.

Here's our sketch for this week.

My sedign papers are from First Edition and I've used some left over scraps of some flowery paper.  I've also used some black card.

Laser cut leaves from Scrapiniec have been coloured with black Copic and I've used a few enamel dots to finish off.

Yes they do.....

Ok so I seems to be having a pig thing going on, I made a card a few years ago with an image from Unky of a little pig on an apple.  Just don't know what it is but I love this little guy too.

The image is called Pigs Can Fly.  There are two versions, with and without wings.  You can find them here in my Etsy shop and get 10% off at checkout by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've had him here forever to colour up and finally I've found time.  He's coloured with Copics.  I've used a few different tones in the wings, pale pink, aqua and yellow.  I figured not all wings are a single colour (or at least in my fantasy land head - ha ha)

I definitely wanted to showcase him so I've done a single layer CAS card, I don't think I'm even going to sell this card or give it away :)

The sentiment was created at the time of printing.  All I've added is some glittery embossing enamel with pink tones to compliments him and a bit of plain old white too.

Best Girl

It's my turn to host the challenge at Fussy & Fancy Friday this time :)

Seen as it's summer hols and you're all busy I've picked a really easy theme for you all to join in, plus we've not had one of these for a while - ANYTHING GOES!

I've used a new image for this inspiration, she called Melody, you can find her in my shop here and get 10% off images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

This image was created especially for my neighbours daughter who loved playing the piano.  I've coloured her with Copics, distressed the edges with a Tonic solutions tool and Tim Holtz Vintage photo ink.  Around the edges I've scattered some embossing enamel.

Here's a photo of the layered up card before I started adding embellies.  The papers which have been distressed are from First Edition, I've also used some black card.  The lace behind the image is from The Ribbon Girl.

In this photo you can see some paper flowers which were from Wild Orchid Crafts and Crafteezee, the pin and organza rose trim were also from The Ribbon Girl.  Added to the flowers are some tiny silver dragonfly charms which I found on Amazon.

The Best Girl sentiment is a combination of wood chip elements from Scrapiniec and Make It Crafty.  The sentiment was for Beth who was being a best girl to her step dad rather then him having a best man (such a lovely idea).  I've coloured these with blue Copic.

Here's another close up, this one has a tiny resin frame which I've had in my stash for ages.

Finally, nearly forgot, there are a few pearl gems :)

Downtime.....

I've coloured her with Copics and created a little bit of background around her.

She's simply been added to a single underlying pice of design paper in complimenting colour from First Edition.

The sentiment is from Make It Crafty coloured with black Copic.

Where did last week go, didn't I just post the last creation for Outlawz?

I've coloured the image with Copics adding to it a few stickers from Tim Holtz to make a sentiment.

I've used design papers from First Edition, Maja Design and Lemoncraft.  there's also some black card for framing.

The only addition I've made is some tiny wooden hearts at the top of the banner sections.

Moon Glow

I still had my blue Copic markers out after my colouring session the other night, so I decided to make a night scene using Over The Moon from All Dressed Up.

I've created some moon glow by adding a little Y000 to the pale blue area I'd coloured around the moon.

The background texturing has done done using a technique shown to me by Faye, here's her blog if you want to now more about her :)

The rest of the image was also coloured with Copics.  I've sprinkles some embossing enamel around the edges of the card as well as adding some stars with a white gel pen.

The two sentiments I got from Make It Crafty, they were also coloured with Copic.
