Steampunk storm

When I did this one I forgot to take pictures before I painted it up - doh!  But I did managed to remember to take a photo before I junked it up :)  I've has the back ground done for a while but got distracted doing another canvas and cards....

This was produced using Tim Holtz stencils and some modelling paste.  I then mixed a background of acrylic paints, gave it a dark moody edge like a storm and some crackled firey clouds using DecoArt and Golden metallic paints and some crackle paste in selected places.

The images I've used are from Aurora Wings and can be found on Etsy.  They were coloured with ProMarkers and fussy cut ready to mount onto the canvas.

I junked up the canvas with lots of cogs, wheels, beads and flowers with a couple of extras like a journey sentiment, a ket and some steampunk goggles.

Here's the finished canvas.  I'm new to the mixed media world and this is only my third canvas.  The steampunk theme had me a little nervous as it's definitely not my strong area although I love it.

Thanks for dropping by
Andrea x

I'd like to enter this canvas into the following challenges
