Bubble Hair

Sketch day - this is my latest inspiration for Outlawz Sketch using images from our sponsor DigiStamps4Joy this month.  I've used Phantasi 1 for my inspiration this week.

She's been coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  she's been cut out with a Spellbinders die and mounted onto some black card, also cut with a Spellbinders die.

I've used some back and red card and design papers from Lili of the Valley.

She's embellished with black spotty ribbon and bow from Docraft and a burgundy heart button.

My Music

Just sharing a very simple card with you today, design this way to showcase the image and also if anyone wants me to customise it I can :)

The image is a new release from SheepSki Designs called My Music showing a teenage girl listening to her music on a summer day.

I've coloured the image with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Doodled a border and Kraft seemed the perfect way to go to frame her,  I've also added a few rhine stones for a bit of interest and bling.

Over at Outlawz Sketch we've two different sketches to show you today.  Check out the main site to see both and the DT inspiration.

We're using images from DigiStamps4Joy this month.  I've decorated the inside and outside of my card this time using two of their images.

The first you can see here is Daffodil.  I've used a very clean design for the front of my card just using some black card to create a frame.

Added to the front are some tiny wooden hearts made into butterflies, there are a few rhine stones for bling and interest.

On the opposite side is a laser wood chip embellishment from Miszmasz and also a sentiment.

The second image is Juliette, inside the image at the time of printing I added a Happy Birthday sentiment.  She's also been framed with some black card.

All my colouring was done with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.

Here's one of the sketches for today.

As you can see Juliette makes up the centre panel.  For the side openings I've used two doilies.  Behind this are two sections of the same design paper from 

Here's a close up of the panel with Juliette.  I've chosen to use hot colours to contrast with the black.

Surfs Up

For the second half of the All Dressed Up inspiration for Wendy's new release images I've got to play with Surfs Up

The image was coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Originally I coloured some water in the background, then changes my mind because I wanted to do the shark surfing the waves.  So I ended up fussy cutting him.

The design papers are from Studio Light and I've also used some plain red card.  I've used a Spellbinders die to cut the waves and then distressed them so they stand our more.

The sentiment is from two different word sets from Scrapienic.  I've doodles a few seagulls into the background.

And added a fish from Little B 3D Stickers (I found these in Hobbycraft)

Things with Wings

We've a THINGS WITH WINGS thing going on at Fussy and Fancy Fridays this next fortnight.

I've used Bumble Bee Blossom from SheepSki Designs for my inspiration.  I've coloured it with a combination of Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

Cut with a Spellbinders die, the edges have been distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.  I've then scattered two types of embossing enamel onto it.

The shaped card has been covered with black card.  Two square cut design papers from Lemoncraft and Joy Crafts have been distressed before adding then to the card base.

My finishing touches are some apple blossoms and lilies.  There are also some laser cut wood chip elements from Scrapienic and a "Made with Love" sentiment.

Breezy Beach Walk

I've finally had time to get Breezy Beach Walk coloured up and a very simple card made.

To get this look I've used a combination of ProMarkers, Copics, polychromos pencils and a white gel pen.

I've just framed it with some back card and added a "Summer" sentiment.

Happy flowers

Did anyone notice, I was sneaky and added an extra image into my shop at the weekend :)

I had the need to create something beautiful and happy.  So I decided it was time to do some sunflowers.  You can find this image in my Etsy shop and if you quote code SKIANDREA10 you'll get yourself 10% off my images

The image was coloured mainly with Copics (maybe I'm starting to get used to them a bit) I only used my ProMarkers on the stems and polchromos pencils on the stems and to create the petal detail.  What do you call the tiny thin lines that run along the petals that look like tiny veins?

Anyway I'm rambling on.  The background was also done with Copics.  I've doodled a border, framed it with some black card and added a Birthday sentiment from Scrapiniec.
