Its new challenge day at Outlawz Sketch, this month we have no sponsor, so I've chosen to use an image from Conie Fong called Lavender's Blue.

The image has been coloured with Coics, then fussy cut to go onto the card.

This is our sketch for April.

I've chosen to do a clean styles card just cutting some design paper from Hobby Craft in similar colours to the image with a Spellbinders die to mat the image onto.

I've added a simple sentiment using a Tim Holtz sticker.  No embellies or anything, so unlike me ;)

Spring / Easter Tag

We're all about Die Cuts & Punches for the Challenge at All Dressed up in the Facebook Group today.

For my inspiration I'm using Pretty Bonnet, you can find it in the shop here.  I've coloured the image with Copics.

I've used my tag die cut for this one to recycle some left over card.  The design paper was also cut with the same die and then cut the image to fit and distressed it with Tonic tool so it's matted.

In the background I doodled a couple of birds.  The added a selection of ribbons and tiny paper flowers from Hobby Craft.

Wishing for Summer

It's the 1st of the month and time for our new challenge at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.

This time we'd like to see your cards with embellishments, these can be as much or as little as you like.

For my inspiration I'm using Flower Dreams, you can find her in Wendy's shop here.

The image has been coloured with Copics and then I've cut her out using Spellbinders die and then matter her onto a doily.  My design papers are from Lemoncraft, I've distressed these with a paper distressing tool.

Here's close up of the flowers I've used for my embellishments, I've also added some crafting fabric gauze and a few silver dragonfly charms. 

In this angle you can see flowers and the 3-d effect on the card.  You can also see a close up of the stitched border I sketched onto the design papers.

Pastel pink roses

I'm doubling up on this one today.  I've created tis for the Outlawz Sketch challenge which starts today.  SheepSki Designs are sponsoring them this month :)

I've cut my designs paper from Lemoncraft and the white mat behind with Spellbinders dies.

I've added some simple embellishments to finish the card off, some heart lace / ribbon and a couple of pink pearl gems.

Been a long time since I've done a card in my favourite pink :D

On your birthday....

It's our challenge day at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.  This month our theme is CELEBRATIONS!

I'm using an image from the Best Frocks digi for my inspiration, you can find it in the shop here.

I've coloured the image with Copics.

Design paper from 13Arts, with a strip of silver and black card, with a sentiment from made from Tim Holtz stickers to finish the creation, giving a clean, simple design.

Jigsaw

It's Outlawz Sketch time, can you believe a month has gone by already!

For my inspiration today I'm using a Tiddly Inks image called Awareness.

The image has been coloured with Copics, I've added on the hearts and writing to the jigsaw pieces.

This is our sketch for the next month.

My design papers are from Santoro, the Sentiment was cut from some scrapbooking papers from UHK Design.  The tiny banner was cut with a die.
