In a world where rainbows are PINK!

This is a complete pink dream fantasy scene I've created for the new them at Oddball Art - Watchin Rainbows.  The layout is a two page art journal spread, details below for what I've used.

I've used two of Lizzy's images the first one you can see below is image no 228, the second was a Whimsy stamp called Moondrop.  Both images have been coloured with Copics and ProMarkers, then roughly cut out to mount onto the journal pages.

The clouds were sketched, cut out and edged with pink ProMarker.  At the bottom of the first page is a piece of web ribbon cut out in the shape of hills.

The journal pages have been painted with gesso and a light blue shade of blue acrylic watered down.  I've used some tissue to life some of the colour before it dried to give a washed out patchy look.   The rainbow from image 228 was extended across the art journal ages to join the scene together.

I've mixed different shades of pink acrylic for the rainbow then used a black biro to separate the layers.

The scene at the bottom of the left page has been created with some lose weave jute ribbon, cut out to look like houses.  Both the hills and the houses have been painted with acrylic.  A darker shade of the same colour has been applied to add some shadow to the hills and create windows.

Here you can see a close up of my planets, these were sketched into the background to give a sense of other world fantasy for the PINK dream world.

Before I show my last image of the complete double page spread, here a close up of Moondrop.

And here's the completed pink dream scene.  I've added one resin bird to the pages which I got from The Ribbon Girl.

Hope I've inspired you to create your own fantasy scene :D
