Date Night

Lizzy's Oddball Art images get my imagination going and as part of the DT we're encouraged to experiment to inspire you guys :)

I saw a couple of images and thought of an idea which I can now share with you - just had to get it printed, coloured, design the card, take photos then actually blog it - LOL!!

What I've done is combined two of Lizzy's images to make this scene

This first image is number 124.

I've combined it with image number 91

Here are the two together.  I've coloured the images with ProMarkers and Copics.  Added a little biro and black polychromos pencil.

Here's the finished card :)

The papers are from Lili of the Valley and I've also used some black card stock.

The sentiment I made.  I looked for some spooky writing on the web to use as a reference.  The one I picked was Zombie Holocaust from Evolutionary Designs.  I kind of tried to copy the writing by sketching the sign which I then coloured with ProMarker and biro.

The finishing touches to this one are some black self adhesive gems.

Hope I've inspired you to have a play around with Lizzy's images - and don't forget all us DT ladies have a code you can use to get 10% discount at checkout on Etsy - just quote DTANDREA10 for mine
