Quick Flump Card

I've made a very quick and easy card using Little Heart today :)You can find this in my Etsy shop here and get 10% off all images at checkout by quoting SKIANDREA10.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I didn't know what to do with it then and ended up fussy cutting it out.

The card consists of stacked layers of white card distressed with a Tonic solutions tool.

The one with the sentiment on has had embossing enamel sprinkled on then heated.  I've then added some tiny wooden hearts up the right hand side.

Finally I've added the little flump onto the top

Sometimes you just need a quick card ;)

Flower Tag

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  Wendy has re-released some images back into her shop :)

I'd not used this one before called Flowers for You, you can find it in her Etsy shop

The image has been coloured with Copics, I've added some embossing enamel in two colours around the image.

I've been doing a bit of recycling, I've used some card we were going to throw out to make a tag.  It's been cut with a die and I've drawn around the inside.  It's then been hand cut so you get a border :)

The edges of the image have been distressed with vintage photo ink from Tim Holtz and I've also used a distressing tool.

The design paper is from First Edition, I've used a wood chip embellishment from Scrapiniec.  On top of this I've added a couple of leaves and several flowers.  The tag has been finished off with some golden organza ribbon from my stash.

Fishing Bear

I got to pick an image I just love called Fishing Bear.

He's been coloured with Copics and framed with some Kraft card.

I've used some more Kraft card and design papers which are actually Christmas ones from Craft and You.  I picked them for the colours.

I've added some string from my stash and a birthday embellishment from Make It Crafty.

First Christmas Tag

We've our new challenge starting today at All Dressed Up in the Facebook group.  Our theme for August is Fantasy / Wings.

For my inspiration today I'm using Christmas Present, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.

I've coloured her in traditional Christmas colours with Copics.  I've decided to make her into a tag.

I drew round the inside of the tag die I had then cut the image out.  The edges have been distressed with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint ink and a Tonic Solutions tool.

I've then cut some green glittery paper out with the die.

Added to this are a few red flowers, silver star charms and a wooden Merry Christmas sentiment coloured with Copic.

Griff

I've been off this week but it's been so hot on an evening I've not been able to do much (keeping windows open and light on is a good combination for bug attraction).  I have had chance to have a play around with my polychromos pencils for a change.  I tend to colour mainly in Copics these day so please be kind when you see my coloured image.  I definitely need to do some colouring classes for pencils!

So, after all that rambling here is Griff coloured with polychromos pencils.  You can find my hippogriff in my Etsy shop here, where you can get 10% off all my images at checkout by quoting SKIANDREA10.

After colouring him I decided to fussy cut him.

I wanted some background papers to match his colouring, I've gone with blues / aquas from Lemoncraft and 13Arts.  All the design papers have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Here he is mounted onto those layered papers, I've also added a glittery silver star and three tiny silver star charms.  The sentiment was made up from Tim Holtz stickers.

All Wrapped

I've decided to make another Christmas card for my latest inspiration at Outlawz Sketch.  I've had this image from our current sponsor, Createful Heart, for a little while but never had chance to use it.

It's called It's a Wrap, you can find the image here.

For a change I picked my papers first, then coloured it with Copics to match.  I've tried to add in a blue glow from the Christmas lights and a wooden floor.  All in non traditional Christmas colours,

I went hunting in my Christmas embellies boxes and found this Christmas pudding ribbon.  Not even sure where I got it I've had it that long!

The sentiment was bought from Hobby Craft last week (they're starting to get their stock in).  I coloured this with Copic as well to fit in with the theme.

Battered ol' boots

This is my latest inspiration for SheepSki Designs, I'm joining my lovely ladies for the Facebook challenge this month.  It's anything goes with SheepSki Designs images with optional twists.  The one for this month is to use your favourite embellishments :)

I'm using Desert Boots for my inspiration.  You can find it here in the shop and get 10 off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I'm not sure if you know Desert Boots.  They're a fabric and I wanted to try and get some of that texture into the boots.  To do this after colouring and shading I used some Copic cleaner and a sponge (a tip taught to me by Faye - you can find her classes here). 

I trawled the internet for quotes to do with boots, I liked this one so I added it at the time of printing the image.

I'm showcasing the image today, so have created a CAS card.  My favourite way to embellish these (yes I'm scared of all that white space) is to add a bit of bling (sequins and rhine stones) and  I also love to add a little doodling for framing.
