Anaz is 30!!

I just plain and simply can't believe where the time has gone. when I first met my friend Julie her daughter was at school.

I've just made Julie this card for her - yes 30!!! Where did the time go!

She wanted a sassy lady so I've used an image Lucy Loo Style I Love You from The East Wind

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers. I've then cut it out to the shape of the easel card.

Two design paper (distressed) and the sentiment are form Lili of the Valley. It's had to make an image like this special with flowers I find so I've added some bling with sequins and gems.

The 30 is made up from some black self adhesive glitter letter I got in Hobby Craft.

The sentiment was computer generated and cut out wit a Spellbinders die.

Here's a different angle and you can just see the blue gems and rhine stones I've used to finish the card off.

Freebie with Kit & Clowder

Especially drawn for the party week with Kit and Clowder - Here's my version of Rosalind's Gift coloured up. You can find her and my other images on Esty at SheepSki Designs - click here

I coloured her with ProMarkers, blending out the colours to almost white in places to give an ethereal fairy effect. Added to that was a little black polychromos pencil to add a real contrast of depth to the shading.

When I mounted her onto the card I added lashings of glitter using DecoArt Glamour Dust.

Here's what the black and white version looks like before I coloured it.

I distressed some design paper from First Edition and Lili of the Valley.

A sprinkling of Petaloo Darjeeling paper flowers and a button sentiment from Lemoncraft completes the look

Pretty Pastels

Our new Facebook challenge at All Dressed Up starts today our theme - Pretty Pastels.

You should find this one nice and easy, Wendy has loads of cute images you can use for this one. Check out her Etsy store.

I've chosen to use Smile It's Your Birthday for my inspiration card. Of course coloured in pastel shades using ProMarkers.

I've added a little bling to the card with a few sequins and gems.

Design papers for this one are all from Lili of The Valley, all have been distressed.

Here's a close up of my flower arrangement. There's some Tim Holtz film strip and s mixture of flowers from The Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts.

The only other addition are a few pink gems

Silent woods

Meet Finnian (or Finn for short). you can find Finnian in my Etsy shop for a special offer price this month.

He's a little Fennec Fox - they're tiny little foxes with REALLY BIG ears. They're also really desert foxes but his colouring lends his a slightly spiritual look and with the theme being Story Time over at Markers Digis Papers I decided to sketch him in a woodland scene.

You can see the finished picture below which was coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

I was so pleased with how this came out, instead of making it into a card I've actually framed the picture to go on the wall. Not sure I can part with him :D

A Land Far Away.......

.......there was a baby crow. He'd just learned to fly and spent all his time floating around above the beautiful hills in a land far far away where everything was always good and peaceful. Until one day....

Small Woodland Creatures is the theme over at Marker Papers Digis. If you'd like to enter into the challenge we'd love to see your colourings of our images (some of them reduced for all September). We'd also love to see your Story Time Creations.

I've colours the little cutie with Copics. For my story theme I sketched in some hills and a castle style house on a hill. Everything apart form the crow was coloured with ProMarkers. I've also used polychromos pencils on this creation.

Producing a CAS style card I;ve just done some doodling in biro round the edge of the card.

The works on the card were hand written with biro.

O for Open

Wow can you believe how fast this year is going. September today! The new challenge we have at the ABC Challenge is O if for Open. Meaning...... ANYTHING GOES ladies!

This challenge is sponsored by Conie Fong and Bunny Zoe, Conie's images are so beautiful - this one you can see here is Lavender's Blue. I've coloured it with proMarker and added a little black polychromos for extra shading.

Around the image you can see some emossing enamel. The edges have bee distressed before mounting onto some white card stock.

The design papers are from First Edition, Studio 75 and Maja Design. Some of these has been distressed as well.

Behind the image you can see a heart doily. At the top of the card a flat back pearl string and at the bottom some organza rose trim which I got from Wild Orchid Crafts.
