Raining pink hearts

So this was so much fun to colour and make in girly pink :)

I'm using Puddles of Kitty Love from Knitty Kitty Digis today, they're sponsoring us at Outlawz Sketch this month.

AND if you haven't noticed it's Christmas Day today so I hope you all have a great one!

I've coloured the image with Copics then cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  The edges have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Behind the image the design paper has been cut in a scalloped circle with another Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My design papers from Lemoncraft have also been distressed with the Tonic Solutions tool.  The paper flowers are a selection from my stash and I've also used some pearls.

The sentiment you can see here in one from Make It Crafty and was the last thing I added.

Christmas Garden Party

Ever wondered what those cheeky gnomes in your garden could be doing when your back's turned?  They may just be having a party and taking selfies!!

The first time I coloured this image I did it in monochrome.  My hubby didn't want to give it away for Christmas, but we did in the end.  So I thought I'd do one just for him in traditional Christmas colours.  Inspired by all those brilliant creative people out there who have shared their colourings I decided to do mine with multi coloured and patterned hats :)

I coloured the image with Copics then framed it and the card with black card.  My design paper to match the image is from First Edition.

The sentiment is from Scrapiniec and I've added a few wooden snowflakes.

Ballerinas

Today we share our second lot of inspiration for All Dressed Up for the newly released images.  I'm using Christmas Ballerina's, you can find the image here in Wendy's shop.

I've gone for a fairly neutral colour scheme as though the ballerinas dresses are a silvery grey colour.  I've done this using Copics.

Wanting a classy looking card I've used some silver and white design paper from First Edition to match the image colour.

For some interest I've layered some banners in similar colours (First Edition design papers again), then added a couple of sequin sand gems.

Brassy bells

So here are Christmas Bells from SheepSki Designs all coloured up.  I think I may have used a little too much of the orangey tones so they've come out looking a little brassy.  Maybe more yellow tines next time I colour them :)You can find the image here and get 10% off all SheepSki Design images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured the image with Copics and added a few sparkly yellow enamel dots for interest.

The design paper is from First Edition and I've also used some red satin ribbon from my stash hand tying a bow.

A Merry Christmas sentiment from Scrapiniec is the final addition.

So this is little Rudolf all on his own,  Helen one of my DT asked me if I could do him without the gnome, it was a great suggestions coz he's so adorable :)

This one was a quick easy card to do, great really coz I'm running out of time fast to get any cards done in time now.  I coloured him with Copics the fussy cut him out.

I've scattered loads of embossing enamel around on Kraft card to make it look like it's snowing which I then heated before adding the Kraft to my card.  The bottom section is design paper from First Edition.

The only other thing I've added is a large Merry Christmas sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with red Copics on the background part.

All cuddled up for Christmas

Wow can you believe it's nearly half way through December already!   I just need to make a few final quick Christmas cards if I can find time :)

Today is our new Sketch Challenge day at Outlawz, our sponsor for this month is Knitty Kitty Digis.

I'm using CatNap for my inspiration today and have managed to go all Christmas with the image hee hee....

I coloured it with Copics going for a monochrome look, I just did one tiny pop of pink on the cats nose.

The images was cut out with a Spellbinder die and distressed with Vintage Photo ink fro Time Hotlz.  I've then cut some design paper from Lili of the Valley using another scalloped Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

My tree design papers is from Lili of the Valley.  I've added a wooden tree embellishment and some Scrapberry gems in chocolate brown.

The banner I printed and then cut out diagonally to go across the card.  Once taped on I drew on the paw prints :)

Little love birds sitting int he moonlight on a snowy hill, of course you don't have to colour this image with a night sky background - that's just me I'm a little obsessed with them at the moment.

I'm showcasing the image today so I printed it large, then coloured with with Copics.  The magical starry background was created using a sponge and I've also added some embossing enamel.

Behind the image is a piece of silver glitter paper.  I've used a tiny silver start charm and a wooden sentiment from Hobby Craft.
