Augie

To the left of him is just the line of the wall or fence he's peeping past.  Having recently some a wooden floor I thought I give a go at doing a wooden fence.

I've coloured the image with Copics and just framed it with some back card.

The #hello sentiment is a wood chip one from Scrapiniec that I coloured with black Copic.

Hope you like my new image

Birthday Blues

Wow this is out last challenge of 2017 at Outlawz Sketch - where did the year go?

For my last card I've used Cosmos from DigiStamps4Joy our sponsor for the month.  I've done something very strange for my for this card.  I actually picked the papers first.

I love the teal papers I've got so I matched my Copics to the same colours for the flowers.
I've used a double Spellbinders die to cut the image out.  The circle behind it was drawn with a compas (yes you hear right LOL!! I couldn't find anything to draw round the right size)

Here's our sketch for this week.

My design papers are from Lemoncraft and UHK Gallery, both have been distressed.

My embellishments are two small white wooden leaves that I got in Hobby Craft and a paper flower from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley on coloured with Copic.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Merry

I've coloured the image with Copics.  I've cut him out with a large blank area to the left which I've then added lots of "bits" to.
There's some gold card at the back of the card, on top of this some black and then the image.  I've sprinkled some embossing enamel onto the background.  There's one simple wooden star and a glittery Merry Christmas sentiment.

Hope you like my quick card :)

Christmas Tree Cats

I've used Irresistible Bling for my Outlaw Sketch inspiration this week, it's one of DigiStamps4Joy's images

I've coloured the image with Copics.  My designs papers are from DoCrafts, Lili of the Valley and a few off cuts I saved (or is that hoarded LOL!)

Here's our sketch for this week

Instead of Christmas Baubles I've used some wooden snowflake embellishments I've had in my stash for ages.

I've also added a Christmas Light string I got in Hobby Craft a couple of years ago.

Hope you love my inspiration for this week and we see you at the challenge

Not What I Wanted

I think we've seen a few children act this way at Christmas, that's why when I saw the image a Lili of the Valley I just had to buy it.  The image is called Stroppy Girl Christmas Present.

When I printed the image out I left a large area around it because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it.  Then after doing a recent class with Kit and Clowder I decided to have another go a sketching in and colouring a wooden floor.  I also added a skirting board :)
The image was coloured with Copics.  All I've done after that is frame it with some black card and add a wood chip sentiment I got from Scrap and Craft coloured with Copics.

Night Scene

I decided to make a card with Snowmen Selfie using non traditional colours t see how it would come out.  I just stuck with shades of blues and purples BUT I still wanted a little pop so I've used orange for some of the noses.

I also thought it might add a little colour to my shop images.  I've a lot of traditional colours in there for Christmas LOL!

Coloured with Copics, a white polychromos pencil and a while gel pen - I've framed the image with black card.

The design paper behind are from Lili of the Valley.  I wasn't happy with the finished card so I cut some strips of black to add a frame - much better :D

Smile Its Rudolf!

SO Christmas is coming FAST.  I'm so not ready and still making cards!

I decided to so a quick Rudolf Selfie - you can find him here in my shop.  I've coloured the image with Copics, a white polychomos pencil and white gel pen.  I cut the image out with a large white section to the right so I could make a fast simple CAS card.
The design paper behind is from First Edition, I've used some black card to frame the image.  A couple of sequins and rhine stones to give it a bit of bling.

And of course I couldn't miss the #selfie sentiment, coloured with black Copic from Scrapienic

Winter Truck

Not long ago I won a Guest Design spot at Creatful Heart.  This is my creation for them using a Winter theme for their current challenge.

I didn't have many "Winter" images so I had to think outside the box for this one.  I didn't take the easy option and just used a Christmas image :)

You can find Worn Out Truck here

I wanted to do a mainly monochromatic card with a pop of colour.  I've created a winter sky and used a brighter blue for the truck so it stands out.  As the truck is supposed to be worn out I decided to try and add some patina so it looks rusty.  I've done all this was Copics and I just love how it came out.  The background of snow was created using a white polychromos pencil and white gel pen.

I've used some black card for framing the image and card.  The snowy design paper has been in my stash for ages - I think its a BeBunny one.

So create a real wintery feel I've added lashings of snowtex.  The Winter Wishes is wooden I got this in Hobby Craft and the December sentiment is a wood chip element I got from Scrap and Craft.

Hope you love my creation and enter the challenge :)

Let It Snow

Playing with my Copics I had the idea to do a nearly all white or very pastel shaded image against a night backdrop with snow.  The snow in the background was created with a white polychromos pencil and a white gel pen.  I've had this image for a while it's one of Ching Chou Kuik's.  You can find her shop on Etsy.

Here's a close up of the winter white flower arrangement I added.  The flower can be found at Noor Design and Wild Orchid Crafts.  The wooden leaves are white painted ones I got in Hobby Craft.  I've added some DecoArt glitter to the leaves and scatters a bit onto the flowers.

Behind the flower and between the layers of design papers is a paper doily.

Mu design paper are from Lili of the Valley and Maja Design.  I've used a couple of die to cut out the icicles and trees.  To these I've added lots more DecoArt glitter.

There's also a wooden embellishement - Let It Snow.  I've also glittered this up :)

Finally at the bottom of the card is a piece of pom pom trim.  I've had it ages but think I got it from The Ribbon Girl.

Hope you love my inspiration for the challenge and we see you there.

Christmas Tree

Christmas is nearly here and we got to play with some beautiful images from DigiStamps4Joy our sponsor at Outlawz Sketch this month.

I've coloured this image with Copics.  I don't get quite as much depth to colouring as I do using both Copics and polychromos pencils.  I'm working on this though.

The image was cut out with a Spellbinders die and mounted onto red card cut with another Spellbinders die.  I've added a few sparkly snowflake stickers that I had in my stash.

Here's our sketch for this week

I've used some more red card and design paper from Lili of the Valley.

My embellishments are from Hobby Craft.  some white painted wooden leaves and some poinsettia paper flowers.

Hope to see you at the challenge

Getting Better?

I just love snowmen images.  This is a fairly new image from Wendy at All Dressed Up.  You can find Snowy Days in her Etsy Shop here.
I've used Copics to colour the imagein non-traditional colours, putting into practice lots of new things I've learned recently.  I think I may be getting better at colouring with them now.  I've also used a white polychromos pencil and a white gel pen to "create" the snow.

I've created a simple single layer card with a sentiment I created at the time of printing.

Hope you love my card

Christmas House

I've coloured the image with Copics and a white gel pen.

The image comes as just the door so I decided to sketch in some walls and add a little sparkle to them as well :)

Creating a CAS card all I've done is used a shaped card as the template.  I've used this shape to cut the image out and some black and red card, then layered them up.

There's some more inspiration in the Facebook Group and also on the challenge blog

Snow Globe

Wow where did this year go.  It's the last month of the year already.  We're sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy this month at Outlawz Sketch

This first image I've used is called Santa's Letter, when I saw it I had an idea which involved flipping the sketch upside down.  All my images for this card were coloured with Copics, a white polychromos pencil and a white gel pen.

I fussy cut the globe out and then realised that my plan wasn't going to work exactly and the circles wouldn't all fit on together - ooops

This next image is Mr Snoman

And this final image is Festive Snooze.

After cutting out the circles and realising they wouldn't fit, I improvised and cut off the edges so they would fit onto the card.

I've used design paper from 13 Arts and Lemoncraft.  I cut some white card using a Marianne Creatables Die, added it to my card and topped it off with lashings of DecoArt glitter.  Finally I've added a few silver snowflake charms.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Advent Freebie

I've coloured the image with Copics.  I've created a textured background which I learned recently.  I've added some moon glow, sprinkled some white embossing enamel (which could either be stars or snow).  I've also added some snowtex where the penguins are sitting :)

The design papers from First edition, the black card and image were all distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Added extra some pearl gems, a couple of green wood leave and a white paper flower, some pom pom trim, a white clay heart and a laser cut wood chip sentiment.

I may give this card to my hubby for Christmas - but then again there's still time to create - hee hee!

Hope you all enjoy the freebie

Christmas Hair

This little cutie is called Christmas Hair Do, I've coloured her with Copics trying out a new hair colour for me.  For this one I've used warm greys and just love how its come out.

The distressed design papers are from First Edition and Lemoncraft.

I've added a few silver snowflake charms around the image.  The wooden snowflakes are doubled up (from Scrapiniec) and also have a silver snowflake charm in the centre,

Of course I had to add a Let it Snow sentiment - you can get this as part of a set in Hobby Craft at the moment.

Finally there's a small flower arrangement, flowers are from Noor Design, Wild Orchid Crafts and the pear beards are from the wedding section in Hobby Craft.

Hope you love my inspiration for our challenge.

Don't forget we've also got a blog challenge you can enter with Wendy's images too.

It's been a while

It's been a while since I used a Make It Crafty image, I was addicted to Zoe's images when I first found digital images.  Then I ended up working of design teams and found I no longer had time to create with what I wanted when I wanted.  I'm so happy I've finally had time to colour up this little beauty - she's called Wishful Asha and you can find her here

The image was coloured with Copics - the hair came out slightly messier than I hoped but then I am still practicing :)

The edges for the image have had vintage photo ink applied, it's had a scattering of embossing enamel in two colours and then been distressed.

My design papers are from Studio Lite and First Edition, I'v also used some black card

The black lace I've had in my stash for ages.  The flowers were bought from Wild Orchid Crafts and Noor Design.

Finally there's a For You sentiment coloured with black Copic which I also got from Noor Design.

Hope you like my inspiration for today

Pink Star

We're sponsored by TLC at Outlawz Sketch Challenges this month.

For my inspiration for this week I've used a little cutie from All Dressed Up.  You can find Christmas Star here on Etsy.

I've decided to go all pretty much all out pink this week in my inspiration.  The image was coloured with Copics.  I cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  I've distressed the edges with vintage photo ink from Tim Holtz.  Originally I just sprinkles some white embossing enamel around the image but changed my mind and added lashings of DecoArt glitter.  I've then mounted her onto pink design paper cut with another Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from Studio Lite, Lemoncraft and Craftwork Cards.

Instead of using a garland at the top of the card for my inspiration I've used some wood chip tree branches that I got at Scrap and Craft.

Hope to see you at the challenge

Joy to the World

This image was definitely inspired by my hubby snoozing after a hard days work LOL!!

I've coloured the image with Copics and I've tried one of Alyce's background techniques from Kit and Clowder.

Creating a CAS card I've mounted it onto some black card to create a border down one side.

All I've added is a Joy to the World sentiment I got from Scrap and Craft.  The sentiment was also coloured with black Copic.

Hope you like my inspiration for today
