Getting Ready for Christmas

Uggg I was feeling so pants yesterday with a migraine headache that I didn't feel up to putting the words in here last night, so I just posted the images originally.

I'm feeling MUCH better today so here I am to tell you what I've done.

The images has been coloured with Copics, a black polychromos pencil and a white gel pen.  Around the image I've scattered some embossing enamel.

My design papers from Maya Design, First Edition and Studio Light have all been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

To the right of the image you can see some banners cut with a La La Land die.  I've used the pink heart from this around the image and cut some more for the banner centres out of grey design paper.  Underneath the image in a piece of grey ribbon I got from Crafty Ribbons.

There's a laser cut Christmas tree which I got in Hobby Craft years ago (my last one).  I've added a few pink gems to this.  To finish off there are a few pearls and a wood chip Christmas sentiment.

Hope you like my non traditional coloured card for the theme
See you at the challenge :)

Posing

The final challenge of the month for Outlawz Sketch (hmmm has someone speeded time up, this month seems to have gone very quickly).

We're sponsored by DigiStamp4Joy for July.  I'm using Party Shoes for my inspiration.

My image has been coloured with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.

Here's our sketch for this week.

My design papers are from First Edition and Studio Light.  I've also used some black card.  All of these were distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

The black and white ribbon has been in my stash for ages.  I've tied a tag onto it.  The tag was cut using a Marianne Craftables die, I've hand cut papers in the same colours as the card to get the layered effect.  The shoe is a dress it up button.  Finally to finish some black gems

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge.

We're all goin' on a......

well it is that time of year, the kidz are breaking up from school.

Someone said holidays to me a few weeks back, well that was it my mind went wandering off on seaside resorts and old style traditional British holidays.  Have you ever seen the beach huts that line some of our shores?

Any way, enough rambling, I've used Copics, a black polychromos pencil and a white gel pen to colour this image called Beach Hut Holiday.  You can find it in my Etsy shop here.  Quote SKIANDREA10 at checkout if you want 10% off ;)

Showcasing the image for you today, I've just framed it with some black card.

Happy holidays <3

Framed Flower

We're already three weeks into the challenge at Outlawz Sketch, wow time flies.  We're sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy this month.

Today I'm using Daffodil for my inspiration.  The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've had cut the oval to fit in the centre of the black card cut with a fancy oval Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for this week

Apart from using black card my design papers are from Joy Crafts.

The black mini heart banners you can see are cut from black card using a La La Land die.  Once the die was cut I split the banner into sections to add to my card.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Today I have the honour of being a GDT for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge.  The theme for Challenge 476 is Shabby Chic which happens to be one of my favourites :)

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge are being sponsored by All Dressed Up this time where the prize on offer it two of Wendy's awesome images.  If you want a quick the shop link is here.
For my inspiration I'm using Full of Grace and Ballet Shoes.  I've coloured them with Copics in my favourite colour PINK!  The ballet shoes have been fussy cut and added into the corner of the card.

The image has been distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage photo and Milled Lavender ink.  All the design papers and Full of Grace have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions Tool.

Around the edges of the image I've scattered some embossing enamel.

The design papers are from Maja Design.  I've added some lace and organza rose trim, which I got from The Ribbon Girl, the pearl string was also from them.  I've added a few more pearl gems and finished off with a selection of pink paper flowers.

Lots of Love

I'm going with some of my favourites today for the Outlawz Sketch Challenge sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy.

Pink and hearts ;)

This beautiful little image is called Victoria you can find her here.  I've coloured her with Copics, cut her out with a Spellbinders die and distressed the edges.  Behind her you can see a paper doily to break up the background a bit,

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from Santoro and Joy Crafts. All have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  The ribbon has been in my stash for ages.

The banner is a Fantasy die which I got from Crafteezee.

Pearl gems and and wood love sentiment complete the card.  You might spot some tiny pink hearts around the image.  These are the off cuts from the heart banner :)

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Beautiful Summer Bird

Today is new release day al All Dressed Up, it's been a little while since I've created for new release day because I've been a little busy lately.  I had to do this card last minute so decided to showcase it with firey summer colours.

I've coloured the image with Copics, black polychromos pencil and a white gel pen.  The back ground was created with BG000 Copic then I sponged a little of B000 then Y38 (I'd used on the bird) onto the background.

Embossing enamel is sprinkled around the edges of the image.

Just some simple framing with black card and design paper from Joy Crafts.

Hope you like my inspiration for today.  You can check out the rest of the Dressy Girl inspiration here on Facebook  or on the challenge blog here

This is the slipper slope, I've started now (much to Mr Bah Humbug - aka hubby) yep this is my first Christmas card LOL!!

I've made this for the new Sketch Challenge at Outlawz sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy this month
This little guy is called Festive Snooze.  He's bee coloured with Copics, the edges distressed with Walnut Stain from Tim Holtz.  Around the top of the image I've scattered two different kinds of embossing enamel.  Underneath him he's got two kinds of glitter which are also embossing stuff.  I've cur out some black card with a Spellbinders die to frame him.

Here's our sketch for this week.

Apart from using some more black card I've used design papers from Maja Design and First Edition.  All these have been distressed.

The snowflakes are wood chip embellies from Scrapiniec.  the ribbon is red organza.  I likely got it from The Ribbon Girl.  One final tiny addition.  A tiny red button I've had in my stash forever :)

Waiting

I think I may have learned something along the way in my Copic lessons.... about blending and texture and adding detail.  I've tried to put some of this into practice on the image below.  Thank you so much Faye and Alyce

As well as using Copics I've used white, gold and orange gel pens and a black polychromos pencil
Just plain and simply mounted onto some black card to frame it.

Hope you love my inspiration today

Blue hues

I've coloured the image using Copics, a black polychromos and a white gel pen.  The image is the main feature of my card, so I've just framed it with some black card.

The design paper behind the image is from Lemoncraft.  I tried all sorts, the the green seemed to make the blue in the image really stand out.  The Birthday sentiment coloured with Black Copic is from Scrapiniec.  Finally I've added three tiny silver dragonfly beads.

Its also the image for the Progressive Challenge at Outlawz this month ;)

Hope you like my inspiration for today.

Girly birthday card

All Dressed Up's new Facebook challenge starts today.  The theme chosen for this month is Occasions.  Give you lots of room for creating :)

I'm using two of the Party Season girls for this card.

The image has been coloured with Copics, I printed the sentiment (from Make It Crafty) at the time I printed the images so the background area was a bit white :)

I don't like scary white space so I've added in some paler colours matching the girls clothes to add a bit of background interest.

Faffing about with my design papers I found some new papers I'd forgotten about.  Shhhh don't tell my hubby he thinks I have too much paper!!  I've added it as a strip down the side.  It's from First Edition in case you were wondering.

Hope you like my inspiration and we see you at the challenge.
