Pink Hair

I've coloured Kamsin's hair pink and love it so much!!  Wonder if I should grow my hair and go PINK :D

I've coloured her with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  I'd printed her quite large so just decided to frame her with black card and add a few sequins for a bit of interest and bling.

The design papers you can see behind the image are from Joy Craft and I've also used a bit more black card.

Hope you love my inspiration for today and we see you at either my Facebook Group or my blog challenge :D

Fantasy Freebie

Well June has gone fast, this is the last week of me sponsoring Outlawz Sketch already!

For my last week of inspiration for you I've used one of the Fantasy Romance images (you can find them as a freebie in my Facebook Group).  I've coloured the image using ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Once finished I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.
Here's our sketch for this week

I've used some Kraft card and design papers from 13Arts and Joy Craft

My only embellishments for this card are two brass corners which i got from Noor Design and a wooden love sentiment which I found in the wedding section in Hobby Craft.

Hope we se you at the challenge

FnF Dies and Punches

Today's new challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday's is to use your PUNCHES and DIES!

The last couple of cards I've made for this blog challenge team I haven't used an image for, so I though I'd use one for a change :)

Today I'm using Aisling you can find her in my Etsy shop, you can get any of my images with 10% off by quoting code SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

She's been coloured with ProMarkers and  a little black polychromos pencil.  I've then cut her out with two Spellbinders dies and edged it with Milled Lavender ink from Tim Holtz.

Aisling comes with a tiny butterfly as part of the image.  I've blocked this off in white when I printed it and chose to use the larger butterfly image Flutterby instead.  I printed this separately, coloured it in the same colours and then fussy cut it ready to go on the card.

At the top left of the card you can see two butterflies which have been created using Spellbinders dies and then glued together.  Added to the centre of these are some pearl gems.

Underneath the image at the bottom left you can see a flower arrangement made up of some laser cut wood chip flourishes which I got from Scrap and Craft.  The flowers were all bought from Noor Design.

When I'd coloured the image I had it on a stack on purple and black papers ready to chose which ones  I wanted for the card.  I liked the way I happened to have them laid out so I decide to use them all on the card and do a creation going outside of the square.
The design papers are from Lili of the Valley, 13Arts, Prima Marketing, Maja Design, Craft & You (think I got them all!).  All the designs papers have been distressed.

To finish off I've added a few purple gems and a sentiment from Scrapiniec

Hope you love my inspiration today and we see you at the challenge

Mum There's a Shark in the Bath!

Kids once they're into something new they want to do it all the time.  This is what I image the boy from my new image Jaws is doing.  He's learning how to snorkel so he wants to practice in the bath.  AND then there's their imagination ;)

This new image come in two forms one with the bathroom background and one without so you can use his as a beach / summer scene as well.

I've made a single layer CAS card to showcase the image for you.  It's been coloured with ProMarkers and poychromos pencil because I wanted to get the much paler washed out shades I can achieve with ProMarkers.

All I've done is a little simple doodling and hand written JAWZ 4 in the bottom right - because there are four shark fins :D

Hope you love my new image and we see you at either my SheepSki Designs Facebook Group or on my new SheepSki Designs Challenge blog.

Dandelion Clocks

It's my turn today to share some inspiration using one of Wendy's new release images from all Dressed Up.  This one is called Summer Breeze

I've coloured the image using ProMarkers.  I've used two dies to cut out the circles on the front of the card out of design papers from Joy Crafts.  I very carefully cut round one of the dandelion clocks so it would overlap on the circles.

The rest of the tiny details from the image I fussy cut and have mounted them as if they're blowing in a gentle breeze up the left of the card.

The sentiment has been cur from the same blue design paper using a Spellbinders die.

My final embellishment are a few pearl gems.

You can see the rest of the DT inspiration in the Facebook group and on the challenge blog today

Clocks n Cogs

Wow third week already of sponsoring the Sketch Team at Outlawz - the times flying by -which is kind of appropriate seen as I've made a Steampunk creation for my next challenge inspiration.

You can enter any creations with my images into my anything goes Facebook challenges and did you know I also have a blog challenge as well.  You don't have to use my images for those but you do have to follow the themes :D
So onto the good stuff.  I've coloured Victoria with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  I've then fussy cut her out to go o the card.  That wasn't my intention originally.  It was just when I was the fab Steampunk clock I knew I wanted to use that with the image.  It's a laser cut wood chip one that I got at Scrap and Craft.  The clock was a bit pale so I've grunged it up with some vintage and antique linen ink from Tim Holtz

Here's our sketch for this week

The designs papers I've used are from 13Arts and I've also used some red card.

The banner at the side was cut using a La La Land die (which I've misplaced in amongst my papers LOL!)  I cut the sections of it out and used some red card behind them so the heart shapes would show up and match the colour scheme.

Hope you love my inspiration

Father's Day

What a rush!  I've just managed to get this card done in time.  I was on hols last week in the Lake District and took some images to colour.  This was one of them Fathers Day From Daughter from Robin Pushay.  The sentiment was a forethought and I created it at the time of printing the image.

I've coloured the image with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

I knew I'd have to make it a CAS card so I could do it quickly when I got home.
I've cute the image with a Spellbinders die to get the stitched curve.  I couldn't get the curve in quite the right place so I had to hand cut then punch the dots at the very bottom.  I've added three sequins to add a bit of interest.  The design paper I've mounted it onto is from Lemoncraft

Now just to get ready and go see my dad!

Best Friends

I have the honour of joining Crafty Friends for this next challenge as their guest designer.  I'm sponsoring them this time and their theme is Friendship.

I've used a new image Miki & Shyla for my inspiration.  One of the Helen's on my design team (I have three LOL!) asked me to draw an Eskimo boy and Husky and that's what I did :)

I printed the image with the Best Friends sentiment onto a large area of card so I could make a CAS style card.  The image I coloured with Copics and polychromos pencils.

The edges were distressed with vintage photo ink from Tim Holtz.  He's then been mounted onto some black then Kraft card.

The only other things I've done was to add some snowtex to look like they're walking in the snow and use a white gel pen to add lots of little white dots as if it's snowing.

Hope you like my inspiration for this challenge.

You can join me on my SkeepSki Designs Challenge blog and I also have a SheepSki Designs Facebook Group

Claire's House

For the second inspiration for Outlawz Sketch I've combined two of my images.  I'm sponsoring my lovely teamies this month over there :)

The first image you can see here is Claire Bear with her bear.  I've used ProMarkers and polychromos pencils to colour her.  Once colured I've fussy cut her ready to mount onto the background.

This is our sketch for this week.  I was looking through my images and thought the freebie in my SheepSki Designs Facebook Group Hallow Hall would be perfect.  If you don't like or use Facebook you can find the image here on Etsy.

The image was printed and coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  I've then split it into three sections.  The three sections were then mounted onto Kraft card to frame them.  At first I used some plain black card for the base but this didn't look right.  I've added on top of this some design paper from 13arts.

Once I got the sections on I added some DecoArt glitter to the moon which has give it some texture and sparkle (not that you can see the sparkle here).

After that I added Claire Bear and then added the Happy Halloween sentiment which was cut from black card using a Sizzix letter set.

Hope you like my inspiration for today - I though it might be a little different :D

Hot Pink Tag

First Wednesday of the month means a new sponsor at Outlawz Sketch.  This time we're sponsored by SheepSki Designs ;)

I've coloured Kitty my favourite colour (PINK) with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils, then fussy cut her out.

For our sketch this week Sandra has made us up a tag one!  We hardly ever use these so it was a challenge this week.

For my designs papers, I used the same colours as the image.  They're from Joy Crafts and 13Arts and have been distressed.  I used a small section of bright pink left over paper in between the layers at the left hand side to add a bit of interest.

Instead of ribbon I've used some black lace I've had in my stash for ages.  Instead of having this at the top of the sketch I've moved it to the bottom.  On top of this are some sections of straws and crimson flowers.

The sentiment is from Scrapiniec and the daisy corner is from Misz Masz - both of these have been coloured with black Copic.

I've used a combination of fibres, ribbon and organa ribbon to make up the tag top.

Hope you love my creations for today and you'll come and visit us at the challenge

Gentle Breeze

Here's a final piece of inspiration for the Passionate Paper Creations sponsorship week from me.

This was one of the first images I did, she's called Emmy's Breeze.  You can find her in my Etsy shop and if you've found the discount code in the Passionate Papers Creations banner on their Facebook group you'll be able to get yourselves 20% off my images :D

I've coloured her with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  After I'd coloured her I fussy cut her ready to go onto the card.

For this one I've decided to let the design papers from Studio Light do the work.  I've distressed the papers with a Tonic Solutions tool.  These have been mounted onto some black card.  Emmy was then mounted on top slightly below the design papers.  Her hair is also slightly outside the card to the left.  My aim was to give the feeling of a gentle summer breeze blowing when I drew her.

The sentiment is from Scrapiniec coloured with black Copis.  The butterflies are also from them and I've coloured them with to shades of purple ProMarker.

Hope you've enjoyed my inspirations and the games this week

Pink mushroom

As always you can use anyone's image, it doesn't have to be one of mine - BUT - if you do use one of mine and you're a winner or top three then you'll get an extra image.  Yes that's right the top three also win images ;)

If you haven't any of mine already and you want to use one check out my Facebook Group there are some freebies in there x
So this is Faye, you've seen her before, but she's here in my Etsy shop.  You can get her and any of my images with 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.  This time I've coloured her in pastel shades.  To do this I used ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  The edges of the image have been distressed with milled lavender ink then distressed with a Tonic solutions tool.

The design papers are from Joy Craft and Lemoncraft.  I tried to pick similar ones to the image colours.

I've still a few sentiments from a Lili of the Valley pad so I've used one of these coloured with ProMakers.  Apart from a few pearls I've scattered a few white paper flowers from Hobby Craft down the card.

So we hope to see you over at the GIRLS RULES! challenge BUT if you do use one of my images you can also enter your creations into my Facebook challenges which are always themed anything goes.
Happy crafting lovely people

Vintage Love

1st of June and we've a new challenge at All Dressed Up in the Facebook group.  This time we've like to see your creations which are MONOCHROMATIC / USE ONE COLOUR (skin & hair can be excluded).  the challenge runs until the end of the month.

I've used two little love birds for my inspiration creating a sepia version.  This image is called Love Is and can be found on Etsy

I've used ProMarkers to colour this image.  The edges have bee distressed with antique linen and vintage photo in from Tim Holtz.  I've also used the same inks and a stencil to create the background.

Framed with some back card, I've added a couple of metal corners, a love sentiment from Scrapiniec coloured with brown ProMarker and two sets of tiny wooden hearts to make two butterflies.

Don't forget as well as the Facebook Challenges we also have challenges on the blog
Hope to see your at the challenge
