One for Mum

Today was Mother's Day in the UK.  So I'm going to share the card I made for my mum with you.

I thought it cool to do them in a lesser know orange variety, I've used Copics to do that :)
I've also used a black liner pen and a white gel pen.

The Happy Mother's Day sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.  I've kept the card CAS to showcase the image and used some other techniques on the background to make it look more vintage styled.

The images was framed with black card, both have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  I've also distressed the image with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.  I've used the same ink and a stencil to add in the words to the background.  Finally I've added two different colours of embossing enamel.

Thanks for taking a look today

Another from Beccy :)

Beccy's Place is sponsoring us at Outlawz Sketch this month.  I was very lucky and won some images from her shop just before this challenge.  This is one of the images I chose called Iris Garden.

I've also used a birthday banner :)

Both of these were coloured with Copics.  Once I'd finished the flowers, I dug out black and purple acrylic and added some splatters to the card.

Both have been mounted onto black card to frame them.  Before I did this though I used a Tonic Solutions tool to distress them.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

I've taken a couple of liberties with this one,  I've narrowed the gap and missed out the lace.

My design paper is from Hobby Craft.

This is the finished card which I've added some sequins to (two different purples) to add some blingand a tiny silver dragonfly charm.

Hope you like my inspiration for this week.  See you at the challenge

In the world of my imagination

There was a little Morphling Baby Boy.....  This is the image I've used for my Guest Designer inspiration with Scrapping4Fun today.

There are actually two versions of this image, one without all the punk hair, elf ears and steam punk theme as well as this one.  I figured not everyone loves steam punk as much as me ;)

I've coloured the image with Copics and added some red glitter to his punk hair with a red gel pen.

Here's where the pops of colour come in!

My design papers are from Hobby Craft, a section of the papers has been cut using a die which I got from Dies to Die for.  I've doddles the line around the edge of the image, added a sentiment from Make It Crafty and finished off with three bright yellow enamel dots.

Thanks for popping by today, hope you like my inspiration

Pops of Orange

Today I'm sharing some new release inspiration from All Dressed Up.

This image is called Busy Street, you can find it here in Wendy's shop.  I debated a while on how to colour this one.  Then decided to do elements from the shop with pops of colour against a monochrome look.

The rest of our Dressy girls have more inspiration for you to see in the Facebook Group and on the Challenge blog.

I've coloured the image with Copics.  Showcasing the image I printed it large.  he edges were distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

Mounted onto some black card for framing and then topped off with some orange design paper from Joy Craft.

Hope you like my inspiration for today, thanks for popping by

Wishing you well.....

The sponsor for March at Outlawz Sketch is Beccy's Place.

I've coloured the image with Copics, the used some black card for framing.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks

I've flipped the sketch round and turned the card so it opens at the bottom, only because I wasn't paying attention when I added the first piece of ribbon LOL!!

The design paper is from Studio Light ad I've used some more black card

The section of grosgrain ribbon is from a box or chocolates (recycling hee hee).  I've also used some skinny ric rac to finish the card.

Hope you like my inspiration for this week and we see you at the challenge

One of my faves

Our theme for this month is your favourite colour(s).  Now if you know me you probably know my favourite colour is pink.  However, when combining colours, purple & blue is a firm favourite for me!

Here's the actual image so you can see my favourite colour combination together.

For the card I've used design papers from Hobbycraft and Lili of the Valley.  I've also used some black card.

The sentiment in from Make It Crafty.  I've coloured it in blues to match the rest of the card.  I was also lucky enough to find a purple enamel heart.  Its form a pack of sticky shapes I found in Hobbycraft.

Hope you like the inspiration for today and you join us.

Happy crafting!

Hello Beautiful

The image I've chosen to use for my inspiration is Prom Princess.  She's one of my favourites and one of the first I created with using Wendy's images.

She's been coloured with Copics and then I've fussy cut her.

The card design is simple to showcase the image.  The cream design paper is one from First Edition.  I've also used some black and red card.

I've added a strip of another design paper from First Edition behind the image and sentiment.  The Hello Beautiful sentiment is from Make It Crafty.  My final touch was the three black gems.

Don't forget as well as having the Facebook group challenges we also have a blog challenge you can find it here.

Thanks for popping by hope you like my inspiration for this month
