Gamer Dude

I come form a family of gamers and if I wasn't spending so much time crafting I'd probable be doing it too :)

This image was especially created for my bro's birthday!  You can find it here in my shop.  It's called Gamer Dude.  You can get this and any of my images with 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured the image with Copics, leaving it large to showcase the image and I wanted to do a CAS card seen as its a guys card.

The sentiment was created at the time of printing, the design paper is from My Mind's Eye and I've finished it off with a few white dots for interest.

I coloured this image on holiday, took me a few days to sort myself out and get crafting again :)

This image is called Butterfly Girl, you can find her here in my Etsy shop where you can get any on my images with 10% discount by quoting SKIANDREA10

She's been coloured with Copics and I've also used a white gel pen.  I got a new Die Namics die at the weekend from Dies to Die For, this is what I used to cut the scalloped border.  The Secrets and XOXO are stickers from Tim Holtz.

The design papers I've used are from Maja Design and My Favourite Things.  On the pink scalloped square I've used the cloud template that Faye gave me in her class at the weekend.  I've used a B0000 re-inker with it.

Under the image you can see a fence border from Spellbinders.  I've used some cream pearls on this and some pink pearls at the top left.  A wood chip sentiment from Scrapiniec and a few butterfly stickers from Little B finish the card off.

Looking for Mice

Well he could be, of the techy variety - terrible jokey title I know!  This adorable image is from DigiStamps4Joy and is called Keyboard Kitten.  DigiStamps4Joy are sponsoring us at Outlawz Sketch this month.

This images has been coloured with Copics.  Around the kitten are a few orange enamel dots.  The image has been framed with black and orange card.

Here's our sketch for this week

I've used some black card and design papers from Glitz and Prima Marketing.  The sentiment is one form CC Designs and is cut using one of their dies.

To finish off I've added some metallic beads which I've had in my stash for ages which I got in Hobby Craft and a daffodil and rose buds from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Counting Sheep

Today is the second lot of inspiration over at All Dressed Up using Wendy's new images.

This one is Counting Sheep you can find it here in her Etsy shop.

This image has been coloured with Copics, cut our with a Spellbinders die and has some embossing enamel sprinkle on.  It's been framed by some Kraft card cut with another Spellbinders die.

Papers used on this creation are from Maja Design and Kraft card - all have been distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.

I've cut two tiny banners out of off cut papers to match the theme colours using a Fantasy Die.  Cream silk ribbon from The Ribbon Girl with a hand tied bow, a heart wood chip embellishment from Scrapiniec, three white apple blossom flowers and some pink pearls were added to complete the card.

This week we've got my favourite sketch at Outlawz Sketch Team :)

The image I'm using for my inspiration is called Toadstool Khaya.  I've cloured with with Copics and a white gel pen.

I've dooddled a bit of a border around the image before mounting into onto some burgundy card to frame it.

My design papers are from Lemoncraft and First Edition.  the tiny banners are cut from left over strips of Santoro paper.

Two black gems are holding the banners in place.  I've added a new home sentiment from Lili of the Valley which has been coloured with Copics.

Mini Tree

This is the second week of our favourite sketches at Outlawz Sketch team.  This week we have Sandra's favourite.  We're sponsored this month by DigiStamps4Joy this month.

I'm using Cherry Bonsai for my inspiration which has been coloured with Copics.  I've cut the image out with a Spellbinders die.  It's been mounted onto black card cut with another Spellbinders die to frame it.

Shabby Chic Tag

We've a new challenge for you over at Fussy and Fancy Fridays for the next two weeks we've love to see your creations with a sentiment added.

Here's a close up of mine, it's a wood chip sentiment from Scrapienic, I've used a few of their elements on this tag :)

The design papers are from Lemoncraft and have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  One of the layers has been curled back on itself before being glued into place.

Over the top of this is a lace corner at the bottom right.

The top left has some honeycomb Dusty Attic chip board which I've painted with white acrylic.

Running up the right hand side of the tag is a Scrapienic border and the butterfly is also from one of their sets.

Here a shot of the whole tag.  You can see at the bottom I've wrapped some lace around and topped it off with 1mm pearl trim.

The scattered cascade of white flowers are paper ones which I got from Hobbycraft.

From his final picture you can see the three dimension effect of all the tag elements.

The final part to tell you about if the vintage seam binding and lace which make up the threads to attach the tag to the present.

Blue Bunny

For April at Outlawz Sketch we're sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy.  This was the image I picked for my inspiration for you for this week - it's called Bookshelf Bunny

I've decided to do some monochrome colouring for this one using shades of blue.  I did this using Copics.  The edges of the image were distressed before mounting onto some plain blue design paper cut with a Spellinders die.

I've used come more blue paper for my background.  On top of this there's some distressed design paper from Studio Light

The embellishments on this are a wood chip sentiment from Scrapiniec, a border from MiszMasz and a tiny wooden heart I got on eBay.

Flower Pots

Spring is on it's way, I think?  some of the flower seem to be struggling to bloom with the recent cold weather here in Yorkshire.....

Anyway it's not put me off setting the theme for this months Facebook Challenge at All Dressed Up.  this month its FLORA and FAUNA so we'd like to see anything with flowers or animals this time.

I've made this card with my mother in law in mind, she loves her flower pots :)

The image I'm using today for my inspiration is called Flower Pots - you can find it here in Wendy's Etsy shop

Putting into practice some of my recent lessons I've sketched in a simple background of a fence and a few clouds.  I've then coloured it using Copics.  The birds were added using a Copic liner pen. 

I've cut the image just short of the card so I could add it to make a single layer card.  Nice a light for postage :)

Don't forget we also have a blog challenge themed Anything Goes, but please remember you have to use an All Dressed Up image.

Just Hanging Around

I'm joining my lovely ladies on the Challenge Blog today at SheepSki Designs, our theme for this month is ANIMAL MAGIC.

I'm using Hanging Around for my inspiration, I've had this image sketched out for absolutely ages and only just finished it off last month.  Too many distractions LOL!!  You can find Hanging Around in my Etsy shop here and het 10% off my images by quoting SKIANDREA10

The image has been coloured with Copics, while colouring I added in some could to the background and then doddled a few flying birds.

The image is framed with black and red card stock.  I've then used one design paper from Maja Design in blues to go with the image.

One simple sentiment to finish "WISH" a sticker from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology collection.
