New start for a new year

It's around this time we get all the "new" creations, so thinking along those lines I've done a new baby girl card using Lizzy's image 269 from Oddball Art for the blog challenge reminder today.

Check them out online where you can use my code DTANDREA10 to get 10% off.
I've coloured this image using Copics and polychromos pencils.  Into the background I've doodles some clouds with blue Copics.

The edges of the design paper from Lemoncraft, black card stock and image were all distressed.

I left a large clear space at the bottom where I could put a sentiment and baby feet (wood chip elements from Scrapienic).  there were coloured with Copics.

My final touch are some pink glitter dots and black gems

Christmas Ornament

Not quite got out of the habit of making Christmas cards yet :D

Especially as I couldn't resist this little cutie by Wendy from All Dressed Up.  The image is called Christmas Snowglobe and you can find it on Etsy
I've coloured it using ProMarkers.  The edges have had some Antique Linen ink applied by Tim Holtz and then I've distressed it.

Design papers are all from Maja Design and have also bee distressed.

The Christmas trees are wooden elements from Scrapienic.  The glittery wooden start I got as part of a set from Hobby Craft last year.  I've aded a few silver snowflake charms to the ones Wendy has drawn and my final embellishment are some pearl gems.

The image was coloured using Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

Here's our sketch for this week, its a nice easy one

I've used some black card stock and design paper from Mja Design

The birthday sentiment is a wood chip one from Scrapienic which I coloured with black ProMarker.  The only other addition are some black gems.

Skully Christmas

I've been dying to share this little guy on a finished card.

My hubby loves skulls so I thought drawing him a skull bauble would make the perfect card..  Once I'd finished him I thought others might like to have the opportunity to have him so I added him to my shop.

He's been coloured with ProMarkers and but out with a Spellbinders die.  The edges have been distressed with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz to make it look more grungy.

He's been mounted onto some black card stock cut out with a Spellbinders die.

The shaped card was covered with black crd stock before I added the design papers.  There were from Maja Design and have been distressed.

I've added some twisted looking vines which are wood chi elements from Scrapienic.  The HoHoHo sentiment is a stick on one from Hobby Craft, I thought went perfect with the image.

The only other things I've added is a glittery poinsettia and some black gems.

Happy Christmas Allen - I couldn't do all this without your support

Night Before Christmas

Today is our second lot of inspiration for Wendy's new images.

Today I'm sharing what I've created with The Night Before Christmas.  She's supposed to be sleeping so I had the idea to do this image in grey scale and added a few pops of girly pink :D

I've used Copics and polychromos pencils to do this with.

Design papers from Maja Desing and First Edition with black card stock and the image have all been distressed.  The pink paper was an off cut from some Joy Designs paper.

I've used some wood chip embellishments and sentiment from Scrapeinic coloured with black Copic and a few black gems to finish off.

We've more inspiration over on the blog and in the Facebook group - don't forget to check them out

I Have Hope

Had to do another cat card :D  This time inspired by NanaConnie who is on my DT I've done the cat white!

I stuck with a simple colour scheme of green and white, just adding a little pink on the cat and orange on the bauble.

I've used ProMarkers to colour her with and added a little black polychromos pencil for extra shading.
Creating a CAS card I've used one design paper from Lemoncraft and some black card stock.  Doodled with biro to create a border and added a HOPE sentiment which is a sticker from Hobbycraft.

Conversion

Take one ordinary image, colour it red and green and add a Christmas sentiment - e voila - she's been turned into a Christmas card :D

This little cutie Precious from Conie Fong is my latest inspiration for the Outlawz Sketch challenges.  Our prize for this month is from the Sketch team.
Prescious has been coloures with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  Cut out with a Spellbinders die I've distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Antique Linen and Vintage Photo ink.

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from Maya Design and Lemoncraft.

Some wood chip banners from Scrapienic, some black gems and a small wooden heart sentiment from Hobby craft complete the card.

Hope to see you at the challenge

He's my inspiration for my new challenge in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group.  Did you also know I offer 10% discount on my images?  Just quote SKIANDREA10 at checkout on Etsy.
I coloured Bob with Copics giving him a rusty and golden glow.  Making a CAS style card I've added some doodled biro borders

The sentiment was added at the time of printing.  Being a robot I had to add some cogs.  there are from Tim Holtz

Santa's Little Helper

For the new challenge this month at Oddball Art our theme is Christmas.  I decided to create a scene using image 141

I have a discount code to share with you for 10% off Lizzy's images, just use my code DTANDREA10 on Etsy :D
This little cutie has been coloured with Copics.

Just drawing a circle in the background I made a moon for the reindeer and sleigh to ride in front of.  The little girl looks just like she's gazing up at them!

The reindeer and sleigh are Dress It Up Buttons.  I've added a little white embossing enamel to make it look like stars.

My only other embellishment is a wooden heart sentiment which I got in Hobby Craft.

Hope to see you at the new challenge

Coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils I've created a night scene.

The starry background was created with some embossing enamel.

Reindeer Selfie

Yep reindeer sees camera and zooms in for a Selfie :D

That's what happens when you're bored driving on the motorway, your mind wanders and you come up with crazy images LOL!!

I've coloured him with Copics then cut out the film strip at the top and bottom to mount onto the card.  Added to the film strip are some tiny silver snowflake charms.

The design papers are from Maja Design and the sentiment from Hobbycraft.

The embellishments are made up from  some Tim Holtz film strip, some wood chip holly from Scrapienic and a mini wooden Christmas tree I was sent as a gift.

Hope you like my crazy image and he makes you smile!

Winter Walk

Today I've the honour of being a guest designer at Scapping4Fun, their theme this time is Christmas.

I chose an All dressed Up image for my inspiration, one that isn't normally a Christmas one, but I've turned it into a snowy scene.  The image is called Time for Walkies which I've coloured with Copics.

The snow was created using snowtex and I've added some tiny silver snowflake charms.

Design papers are from Lemoncraft and Maya Design with some red card stock.

Behind the image is a piece of lace from The Ribbon Girl, a sparkly poinsettia that I found in Hobby Craft and the sentiment is also from them

Hope you love my inspiration for today

Not another Christmas Card

And no its not - its a baby card :D

I've nearly run out so thought I'd better start making some more.  I've used the new sketch from Outlawz to help me create this and I decided to use a little cute I've had for ages and not used yet called Bubble Baby from Di's Digi Stamps

It's mainly baby girls cards I'm short of and this one is coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils
The edges of the image have been distressed with Antique Linen Ink from Tim Holtz.  The design papers I've used are from Lemoncraft and Maja Design

Here's our sketch for this week

I've flipped mine onto its side and used some cream satin ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a few pink and white pearl gems

Hope you love my inspiration and we see you at the challenge

Bit of Blue Sparkle

Today is a big day at All Dressed Up.  We've got the Advent Calendar Event with Kit & Clowder and it's our new Facebook Challenge!

Pop along to see how you can get the freebie and check out the design teams inspiration.

This month we'd like to see your cards with SPARKLE!!
I've used one one Wendy's new images for my inspiration.  It's called Party Time and you can find this image on Etsy.  I've created a CAS card adding a sentiment to the image when I printed it out.

I've used Copics for the clothes and ProMarkers for their hair.  I've also used come polychromos pencils for extra depth of shading.

The border was doodles with a biro.  Scattered randomly are some rhine stones and sequins.  Also used on this card, some black card stock and some blue glitter card that I've had in my stash for ages and never used :D

Hope you love my inspiration and you'll join our challenge.

Snow kitten

We've reached U at The ABC Challenge which is for Unconventional.  We'd like to see your Christmas cards but NOT in traditional colours :D

We're sponsored by Conie Fong this time and I've used her image Sally and Snowball.  Last time I used them I did them in red and white so thought I'd see what they looked like in pastels.
I've used ProMarkers to colour them, then fussy cut the image out.
The design papers are from First Edition.

For the hilly snowy scene and trees I've used some white card stock cutting it with Spellbinders dies and Marianne Creatables.

The edges of these have been distressed with Milled Lavender ink from Tim Holtz and lashings of DecoArt glitter.

The silver glitter sentiment is a wooden embellishment from Hobby Craft.  I've doodles a biro border and added three tiny silver gems

Love to see you at the challenge with you non traditional Christmas cards
