These are the image available in my shop - you can use the hare image too :)

Humphrey                                        Sebastian

Here's the inspiration I've created using my reduced price image Rocket & Rosie.  You can find them in my shop - but if you're not quick they will have gone back up to full price!!

I've coloured these little cuties with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  I mainly wanted them to be white so have just given the lines an accent of colour.

I then spent ages fussy cutting them out.

To make up the background scene for them I've used some Kraft card and design paper from 13art onto which I've used a Creative Expressions Birch Tree Mask and Tim Holtz walnut stain ink for the trees.
Under the bunnies are two black and white hearts cut from card using a die from Fantasy Magic.  The mushrooms were cut using a die from Joy Crafts and have been edged with walnut stain ink from Tim Holtz.

Finally I've made some wooden butterflies by using some tiny wooden hearts that I got off eBay.

Hope you love my inspiration and I'll see you over at Markers Papers Digis and the challenges

Vintage Memories

I'm sharing my creation today as hostess at Fussy and Fancy Fridays where the theme for the next two weeks is ANYTHING GOES.  I've only just joined the DT team recently but am loving being able to create these types of cards.  I tend to create a lot of CAS cards to showcase my images so this makes a lovely change.

It also allows my creativity to run free :D

I've used a vintage image from Pion Design, in fact all my design papers are form Pion Design as well and have been distressed.

Behind the image are some lacy die cut circles cut with Spellbinders and Little Darlings dies.

Behind this you can just see some vintage lace peaking out.

Here's a close up of one of the flower arrangements, made up of rose buds, apple blossoms, leaves, gypsophila and I've finished it off with some tiny silver dragonfly charms.

The card also has various wood chip elements from Scrapienic, a butterfly, a memories sentiment, some leaves, and XOX sentiment, a frame under the image.

And to finish off a few pearl gems.

Hope you love my inspiration and we see you over at the challenge.

Live Long......

...... and prosper - Trekkies will under stand this :D

We're being sponsored at Outlawz Sketch this month by Bloobel Stamps.

The image I've chosen for my inspiration this week is Live Long and Prosper 2

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers, the edges then distressed with black soot ink from Tim Holtz.  Its then been frames with some back card.

Here's our sketch for today

I've used design papers with stars for my backgrounds and some more black card.  Instead of pearl string I've used some ric rac.  I've also twisted the sketch.  Instead of a die cut sentiment I've made a Star Trek badge by cutting two edges off a star.  I've coloured the chip board I made it from with gold ProMarkers then edged it with black pen.

My final touch are three tiny silver star charms :D

Hope you love my inspirations for today and we see you at the challenge

Drawing Mine Craft

Today is the second time of the month when I'm honoured to be a Guest Designer at the Crazy Challenge - their theme for the next two weeks is LEAFY GREEN.

We had to use green leaves in our projects.  Now I could have gone down the normal route of doing something girly and flowery BUT my brother's birthday is coming up (tomorrow in fact).

I decided I'd draw something appropriate for him.  He's a BIG gamer and one of the most poplar games is Mine Craft.  If you've never seen the game (a lot of you will) you build environments / people / animals etc. using what look like lego blocks.

I took me forever to draw the tree using a grid to help me create the blocks.  Once drawn I coloured it in a combination of ProMarkers, Copics and black polychromos pencil.
The two sentiments are wood chip elements from Scrapiniec that I've coloured with black marker.  I've doodled a border around the edge of the image then mounted it onto some Kraft and black card for a frame.

Can't wait to see what he thinks of it :D

Think of a Film or a Song

Yeah well I wasn't actually aware I was thinking of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when I started drawing this image Bryan's Baby which you can now find in my shop - click here :)

I started out drawing our friends Morgan, then I started to change the shape slightly as I went along.  It's ended up Steampunk style with wings LOL!

You can get this image and any of my others with 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout on Etsy
I've used Copics and polychromos pencils to colour the image.  I've done it red on the recommendation of my hubby.  I wasn't sure it would work but I LOVE how its come out.
I had to do a CAS card to showcase the image for you.  I've framed it with black card and doodled a border.

The sentiment was created at the time of printing.

Hope you love my inspiration with my new image.

Bunny Surprise

Today is the second time in the month the All Dressed Up ladies are showing off their inspiration using Wendy's new images.

I got to play with Butterfly Bunny, which I've coloured a pale white and added pops of pink with the flowers and butterflies :)  I've used ProMarkers and polychormos pencils to do this with.  The edges of the cut image have been distressed and spin sugar ink from Tim Holtz added.

I've decided to do my first ever concertina card.  It took me a while to cut all shapes and distress the papers but I love the result.

Here's a view of the finished card.  The design papers you can see here are from Joy Crafts, to close the card I've decided to use three lots of ribbon. Two different shades of 5mm organza, from Crafty Ribbons which I've buried under the papers layers.  It's finished off with some velvet and gold ribbon from Lemoncraft.

Here's what the card looks like opened out

I found it quite difficult to get a photo of the whole card to show it to you but hopefully you can see ok.  I've used design papers from Maja Design on the inside to co-ordinate with the colours in the image.

Hope you like my inspiration using Wendy's new image.  Don't forget to check out the blog challenge today.  The Dressy Girls are also showcasing their images there.

We also have a challenge running in the Facebook group which is themed "Feature a Creature"  We'd love to see you with you animal creations.

Lil Skunk

I've had Lil Skunk coloured up for absolutely ages.  I've finally found time to make a card with him - yay!  I've used him for my inspiration for the new SheepSki Designs Facebook challenge which starts today - click here to see my group, you can find it under the pinned post.

He's been coloured with ProMarkers then cut out and mounted onto some green design paper then black card.

I wanted to make him into a card for a guy, I definitely don't do enough of them!  The papers I used are from Lili of the Valley and Santoro.

The only added extras for this card are a birthday sentiment (wood chip Scrapiniec coloured black) and a few black gems.

Hope you love my inspiration for today, see you in my group maybe

Happy Reaper

I've used a Happy Reaper from Bloobel Stamps for my inspiration today.  Lisa is sponsoring Outlawz Sketch challenge this month.

I've coloured him with Copics and promarkers and distressed the edges of the image wit Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.

He's been framed with some black card with an added black Happy Birthday sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Grim Reapers (or Happy Reapers in this case) are one of my hubby's favourite characters.  Something to do with Mort from Terry Pratchett books I think ;)    So he may be getting this card for his birthday!

Here's our sketch for today which I've twisted for this card.

My design papers are from a set I won called Urban Style.  Unfortunately there's noting on them apart from that to say who's made them.  I've also used a bit of left order red paper from Lili of the Valley

My only embellishment are a couple of tiny bells coloured white tied with string.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and its not too scary :D

See you at the challenge

NEW BLOG CHALLENGE REMINDER DAY

Today is reminder day for the new SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge.  Challenge #1 went live on 1 April 2017 and closes on 30 April 2017.  So I though it appropriate to do a mid month reminder, I also had a lucky winner to announce :)

The theme for this month is ANYTHING GOES.  You can use any designers image, you don't have to use one of mine but if you do you'll bag yourself an extra image if you're picked as a winner or top three.

This is my inspiration I made for it.  I've used my FUCHSIAS image to create this.  I printed it big, huge in fact.  My original plan was to make it a whole background and put a smaller version on top.  I may to this later if I remember.  I tend to have idea overload and forget a lot of what I wanted to do unless I write it down!

You can buy my images with 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10.
The image was coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  In the leaves I've used a little yellow for the highlight of the light source.  On the fuchsias I've just used the white of the card stock and very softly coloured over the top with pencil to blend to the surrounding colours.

Once I'd coloured it and was hunting around for design papers for something else I spotted this paper from 13 Arts.  You can find it here at Scrap & Craft.  When I saw it I though it would make a perfect background for part of the large fuchsias I'd coloured.  Behind it is a piece of black card just to add a frame.

So off I went fussy cutting, the stamen were a bit tricky but I got there without cutting anything off LOL!

The added sentiment is a wood chip one from Scrapiniec and I've just coloured it with black COPIC.

Hope you love my inspiration and we see you over at the challenge - not many people know about it yet.
AND if you didn't already know I also have a Facebook Group where you can show off your creations with my images and enter them into my challenges there :D

Otter Halves

This image was especially created for my best friend, my hubby, he loves otters and as they can mate for life it's very appropriate for our anniversary.

Did you know some of them even sleep holding hands!

I wanted to make a CAS card to showcase the image.  So all I've used is some card stock to create a frame for the image.

I've coloured the image with just polychromos pencils.  I wanted to get the effect of some fur with very fine lines which polychromos are excellent at doing.

The edge of the card has been distressed with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.  the sentiment was produced at the time of printing.

To finish off the anniversary theme I just added two tiny wooden hearts.

Happy anniversary hubby, I have no idea where the last four years went!

Running Dog

Lisa Bloobel is sponsoring us this month at Outlawz Sketch, woo hoo we get to use her quirky loveable images.

The one I've chosen for my inspiration today is Running Dog.  This image reminds my hubby of a dog he once owned - mad as a hatter!
I've coloured it with Copics and polychomos pencils.  the edges have been distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.

Two dies have been used to cut the image and the circle of design paper from Lili of the Valley.

Here's our sketch for today

My other design papers are from UHK Gallery, First Edition and Lili of the Valley.  I've also used some black card.

To finish the card off I've used a few black gems, drawn coloured and cut a bone out and added a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Hope you love my inspiration fro today and we see you at the challenge

Annabell & Aggie

I'm honoured today to be a guest designer at The Crazy Challenge.  Their theme for the next two weeks is Spring is Coming.
I've chosen to use one of my new images Annabell and Aggie for my inspiration today.  I created this image with spring in mind, little lambs and flowers.

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

Keeping the image as the focus I've created a CAS card, only using one piece of flowers design paper to border the image.

Just around the edge of the image I've doodled a border in pen as well.  I've also added a love sentiment from Scrapienic which has been coloured with black ProMarker.

Thanks for taking a look today

Biongy Rabbit

Lisa Bloobel from Boobel Stamps is sponsoring us at Outlawz Sketch for April - we're in for a great month of FUN!

I've used Biongy Rabbit for my inspiration.  It's near Easter so I thought this image very appropriate.

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers and then I've scattered some embossing enamel around in the back ground.  In addition to that I've added a few sequins to give it some bling.
Here's our sketch for this week

Apart from using black card I've used some new design papers I found from First Edition.  It;s made a lovely fantasy background for the image.

Behind the image is some black ric rac, I've used a couple of black gems and my final touch, wihich was an unexpected addition it happened to fall on the card as I was deciding on which embellishments to use and I though it looked great!  Happy accident hee hee :D

Hope to see you at the challenge

Follow the White Rabbit

The title is a movie reference especially for my hubby ;)

We'e a new challenge at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.  We'd like you to FEATURE A CREATURE!  One of my favourites - I love animals!!

Seen as it's nearly Easter I've decided to use Wendy's Easter Bunny.  For this card it's all while apart from the image which I've coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  In the background you can see some white embossing enamel.

It's and the die cut card behind it have both been cut out with Spellbinders dies.  They've been edged with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz.  I've also doodled a stitched border round the edge of the bunny image.

Behind these is a doily and the distressed design papers from First Edition.  In between the layered papers is some crafting gauze.

I've also added a couple of mini tags threaded with vintage seam binding.

Other embellies now mentioned a re a large wooden butterfly from Scrapienic, while flowers and lace.

Don't forget at All Dressed Up we have the blog challenge as well.  You can enter you creations with Wendy's mages in here too :D

New Blog Challenge and New Image

You can use any image for the challenge and the theme for this first challenge is ANYTHING GOES!  Just to get us going ;)

I've used this new image.  Its based on ME!  My hubby said a while ago he could do with a hiking image for his boss for his birthday so I drew one trouble is I don't know what to call it.

If you want a chance to win it pay a visit to the SheepSki Designs Challenge blog to see how!

Soooo.....  she's been coloured with a combination of ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  I used the colours of my clothed to colour her with - yet you can see me coming a mile off LOL!!

Of course I had to showcase her for you so I've created a CAS card, just adding a THIS WAY sentiment (from Scrapienic) and a doodles border.

Hope to see you at my challenge :D
