Teal & Purple

It's Wednesday Outlawz Sketch time again.  We're being sponsored by All Dressed Up this month.

I've chosen to use one of the Wear with Style girls for my inspiration today.  You can find them here in Wendy'd shop.

The image has been coloured with Copics, in what might become a new favourite combination of purple and teal (I much prefer this to bottle green).

This is our sketch for the next two weeks.  I've flipped it and simplified it slightly to do one of my favourite CAS styled cards using All Dressed Up images.

My design papers which have been cut with a die from Dies to Die for, are from Lemoncraft and Santoro.  The flower is a paper one from my stash.

Tulip Vase

I've had this printed for absolutely ages, I've finally got round to colouring it for a mothers day card.  The image is just called Tulips, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout

I decided to do a two tone card in greys with pops of orange.  I've used Copics to colour the image.

My design paper is from Joy Craft and I've used a few dies to cut the envelope shape, the mum sentiment and the tiny banners :)

Spring time

Today is our second lot of inspiration with Wendy's new release images.  I'm using Spring Hair Do today, you can find it here in the shop.

She's been coloured with Copics then cut to mat onto a tag.  I've used some recycled card for the backing cut with tag die.  The design paper, picked to match the image colours, is from Hobby Craft.  In this close up you can see I've added some DecoArt glitter to her wings.

Added tot he tag are a few paper flowers, some pearl embellishments (wedding section at Hobby Craft), a couple of time silver dragonfly charms, a selection of ribbons, a tiny pearl heart and a sentiment made from Tom Holtz stickers.

Sunshine

Well the sun is out in the UK finally, so nice to see it!  So that's what's inspired me to make this card for the Facebook challenge this time.  The challenge is always anything goes but with optional twists, this months is Clean and Simple (CAS). I've created something a little different for me today.

I've used Sunflowers, which have been coloured with Copics, I just wanted a splash of colour rather than detailed colouring for this one.  You can find the image here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.  The image has been fussy cut to add as the top layer.

The design paper I've used for this one is from Hobby Craft, it's the same one I've used to cut the letters out with for the sentiment.

I've used a stencil and modelling paste for the background and another stencil and some Antique Linen ink for Tim Holz for the rays.

The tiny bee is a plastic button I got in Hobby Craft.

Christmas Kitty

I've kept the colour pallet simple using mainly green with a pop of red.

The image and white mat behind it were cut using Spellbinders dies.

This is out sketch for the next two weeks.

My design papers are from Studio Lite and Lily of the Valley.  There's a section of lace from my stash and a couple of glittery green enamel gems to finish.

GDT with Colour Crazy

 

Today I'm sharing something a little special, my first creation as a GDT at Colour Crazy Challenge :)

We've no sponsor this month so I've chosen to use For You from SheepSki Designs.  You can find it here in the shop.

The image has been coloured with Copics and then fussy cut.

We've lots of laters on this card with Design papers from 13Arts, First Edition and Joycrafts.

Added are a wooden floral embellishments, a few silver dragonfly charms, some gems and a sentiment coloured with Copics.

Daisy

Our new challenge as SheepSki Designs for March is all about Flowers.

I've using Gerbera Daisy for my inspiration, you can find it in the shop here where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics and I've also used a polychromos pencil for some of the finer lines.

A scattering of embossing enamel for interest, a mum sentiment cut from pink design paper using a Sizzix letter die set.  A few pink hearts left over from another banner heart die and a layered paper banner complete the card.
