Hello cutie

I've tried to make him as fuzzy as possible using Copics, adding grass and then used my white gel pen to add the white flowers.  I've hand cut the oval shape and cut the black card framing him with a Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for this week.

I've flipped the image round and used a plain square instead of sectioned pieces.  The dots are enamel and gems.  Instead of the centre section I've added a Hello sentiment from Make it Crafty coloured with Copics.

The design papers are from First Edition with a left over off cut of green in my scraps :)
I've also used a little more black card for framing.

The only other extra I've added are a couple of silver dragonfly beads.

Hope you like my inspiration for this week and we see you at the challenge

Playing Solo

So Wednesday has come round quickly again!  That means it's Outlawz Sketch DT inspiration day where I'm sponsoring our lovely ladies this month.

Solo has been coloured with Copics, cut out with a Spellbinders die and then mounted onto some black card cut with another Spellbinders die.

Here's our sketch for this week

I've used some more black card and design papers from First Edition.  I've used paper instead of ribbon from the sketch.

My only embellishment this week is a beautiful purple flower from Wild Orchid Crafts.

MOOOOoooving......

I love highland cattle, I've drawn this one as though it's in a gentle breeze.  If you love colouring hair you're doing to have so much fun colouring this!  I certainly did, I got quite messy and random with my flicks using my Copics.

I've done a CAS card to showcase the image, framing it with some black card.

The MOOOving.... sentiment was created at the time of printing the image.  Not sure if I'm going to use it as a leaving card or moving house card yet :)
I've scattered two types of embossing enamel for some interest and the edges were distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.

Thanks for popping by today
Happy crafting!

Hello Gorgeous

It's our teams turn again at Fussy and Fancy Fridays - the theme for the next two weeks is Things with Wings.

For the challenge inspiration decided to use one of my own images to make a girly gift bag.  The image is called Flutterby and you can find it here.
The image has been coloured with Copics and a white gel pen.  I've then fussy cut it to mount onto the bag.

Here's a close up of the flower section from the bag.

I've tried to keep everything pink and white using a variety of flowers from my stash which is from The Ribbon Girl, Crafteezee and Wild Orchid Crafts.  The vintage seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl the link to it is here.

This second picture of the flowers shows the 3-D effect a little more.  You can also see I've used some wood chip embellishments which i got from Scrap and Craft.

The Hello Gorgeous sentiment from Make It Crafty has been coloured with Copics.  You can also see in this photo Y've used some pearl gems to add a little interest.

Here's a photo of the whole bag.  The desing papers you can see here are from Lemoncraft.  I've also used some more of the seam binding from The Ribbon Girl tied in a double bow on the handle of the bag.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Loving the yellow

I consulted with my hubby for what colour to do the car this time.  He suggested yellow, I must admit I was a bit skeptical - but do you know what I absolutely love it <3

I've coloured the image with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.  The birthday sentiment you can see here is from Make It Crafty.

Here's our sketch for this week.

I've used a selection of design papers from a Glitz Paper Pack called Cashmere Dame.  I've used some design paper instead of the lace on the sketch :)

No embellishments for this week!  I don't always use them ;)

Hope you like my inspiration for this week and we see you at the challenge.

Earth n Art

I'm joining Do Al(l) Kreatives today as a guest designer for their mid month inspiration on creating your own background.  I'm also sponsoring their current challenge.

The image has been coloured with Copics to match the background I created.  I've then fussy cut her to add to the canvas.

The background was created using stencils, modelling paste and crackle paste the create the texture.  I then added all the flowers before painting it all white with gesso.  Once I'd done this I then started to use two coloured spray paints from DecoArt in blue and deep pink and a water mister.

Once dried I started to paint the highlights onto the flowers and used some gold to highlight some of the words.  The resin butterfly was added after this and I've used the same coloured paints to add a little colour to it.

Once the canvas was dry I added the fussy cut image and the sentiment from Scrapiniec which had also been coloured with Copics.

Hope you like my inspiration for today.

Thanks for taking the time to pop by today

Braided Hair

The image I'm using for my inspiration this week is Butterfly Hair you can find it here.  I've coloured her with Copic using the same colours as the one you can see in my shop.

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from First Edition and I've also used some black card.
Around the image I've used a few Rhine stones for interest. There's a section of ric rac that you can find here at The Ribbon Girl.

The flower and leaf I've had in my stash for ages, I think I may have got it from Hobby Craft as part of a set.
The friends sentiment is part of a wood chip one from Scrapiniec.

Painting Autumn Colours

Searching through Wendy's images I thought this would be perfect.  I've coloured them image as though the girl is colouring her image in autumn colours too :)

Practicing my colouring with Copics I decided to do a CAS style card.  To keep the centres of the flowers bright white I've used a white gel pen.  Scattered around the image are a couple of sequins and a few Rhine stones.

The design paper is from Santoro and has been cut with a Die-Namics die.

I've finished off my autumn theme with a sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with Copics.

The Challenge has just started at The Ribbon Girl for the October Anything Goes Challenge.  I'm sharing my card here - more details below.

The prize for the Challenge this month is.....

Prize:
£10 voucher from Polkadoodles

http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/

2nd prize is a selection of products from The Ribbon Girl

Mary has used some of these production on her beautiful creation this month.

I've coloured the image with Copics and a white gel pen for the shine in the bauble.  The image has been distressed with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz and I've sprinkled embossing enamel around the edges too.  Behind the image is a section of the papers cut with a Spellbinders die.

My design papers are a combination of UHK Gallery, First Edition, Maja Design and LemonCraft.

Here's a close up of the inside of the easel card.  The back section has labels cut with a Spellbinders die.  The front section has some Isabelle White lace and pearl string from The Ribbon Girl.  Full details of the products are at the bottom of the post.

I've actually got myself a bow tie tool now - yay makes it much easier.  The red ribbon has a snowflake and glitter button attached with some twine.  Towards the left of the card you can see some more of the twine, holly leaves, roses, daisy and along the bottom below the image is the Rosa Bianca Lace.

I finished the card off with a few pearls and a XOXO sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with Copics.
