Giraffe Lights

We're sponsored this month by DigiStamps4Joy at Outlawz Sketch.  My inspiration this week is using a little cutie called Giraffe Christmas Lights.  I've coloured the image with Copics then hand cut and oval.

The edges of the image have been distressed, I've added a little white embossing enamel and frames it with some black card cut with a Spellbinders die.

This is our sketch for this week.

I've kinda flipped it over and on its side.  My design papers are from Maja Design and First Edition.

I've added a section of snowflake and heart ribbon I've had in my stash forever.  The winter wishes sentiment is a wooden one I got from Hobby Craft.

This image is from DigiStamps4Joy - it's called Mr Snowman.  DigiStamps4Joy are our sponsors at Outlawz Sketch this month.

The image has been coloured with Copics, cut out with a Spellbinders die and then I've used another one to cut the design paper that frames the image.

The final touch I added were the four wooden glittery snowflakes at the corners, you can find these in Hobbycraft.

Winter Skater

I'm joining my lovely Facebook DT ladies this month for their inspiration for the new challenge at SheepSki Designs.  The challenge on Facebook is always ANYTHING GOES as long as you use one of my images.  We also have optional themes if you want something to focus on.  This month the optional theme is BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE.

You won't find this image in my shop yet.  We're playing a game in my Facebook Group to name her.  The person who names her will win a prize and enough of you enter I'll also draw some random winners.  HOWEVER, if you want to see what images I have in my shop you can see them here and get 10%discount off them all by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured the image with Copics and a black polychromos pencil.  The Season's Greetings sentiment was created at the time I printed the image.  I've scattered three types of embossing enamel around the image to add a sparkly winter look (not that you can see the blue glitter very well in these photos).

She's framed with some black card and red design paper from Lemoncraft.

A Mermaids Tail

For my inspiration this time at Fussy and Fancy Fridays I've used Magical Friendship from Tiddly Inks.  Our them for the next two weeks is ANYTHING GOES so it's given me the perfect opportunity to use this stamp that I've have for ages and done nothing with.

The image was coloured with Copics and a white gel pen, the background created by drawing in the clouds freehand.  In this photo you can also see the Hello sentiment from Make It Crafty which I coloured with Copics.

The embellishemts you can see a close up of in these two photos are from The Ribbon Girl

Cheesecloth White, Blue Ruffle Edge Sheer Ribbon, Ballerina Blossom Ivory White, Deep Lilac Wild Rose, Vintage Open Lilac Rose, 10mm Lilac Open Roses, Rose Leaf White, 40mm Daisy White, 10mm Baby Blue Open Roses, Aqua Heart Pin, Ivory Teardrop Pearlised Pin, Mermaid Tail Aqua / Silver

I've also used some white forget me nots.

At the top of the card you can see some 6mm FB Ivory Pearl Trim also from The Ribbon Girl.

The design papers from Lemoncraft and the image have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  I've also used a few pearl gems.

My design paper is from Lemoncraft and I've used some more black card.

There's a strip of snowball ribbon (not sure what it's called) with another skinny ribbon over the top which I got from Crafty Ribbons.

Best Friends

Today I have the honour of joining Try It On Tuesday's as their guest designer.  Their theme for the challenge is Friends and Family.  I've had this image from House Mouse stamped up for ages and through it would be perfect for a winter and friends themed card. 

The image is called Warm Reception.  It's been coloured with Copics,  a white gel pen and a black polychromos pencil.  For the wintery snow I've used some embossing enamel.

Backed with some black card to frame it, I've used a single chevron piece of design paper.  The tiny red banners were cut using a Fantasy die and the Best Friends Sentiment is a wood chip one from Scrapiniec.

Mistletoe Kisses

It's new release inspiration day at All Dressed Up.  Wendy has done us some beautiful new images for Christmas :)

This one is called Mistletoe Kisses.  You can find it here in her Etsy shop

The image has been coloured with Copics, a white gel pen and a black polychromos pencil.

The background was created using a technique from a Kit & Clowder colouring class, you can find their website here.

The image had been framed with some black card and some silver design paper from First Edition.  I've added a small wood sentiment which I got from Hobbycraft (last year I think).
