Pretty In Pink

We're going on of my favourites for the new two weeks at Fussy & Fancy Fridays.  Pretty in Pink :)

Instead of using an image I've dug or pretty much everything else LOL!

I've taken some close ups so you can see sections of the card I made

Here you can see a close up of the butterfly, it's a wood chi one from Scrapiniec which I've given a hint of pink to with my Copics.  The wood chip swirl (not sure who's it is) I found at Scrap and Craft.

Before I go onto the flowers I'll mention the pearl string and pink seam binding which you can find at The Ribbon Girl.

This one is showing a variety of pink flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The pink tipped leaves I got from Lili of the Valley years ago when they still had a shop you could go into.  You can also see here some tiny silver dragonfly charms that I got from Amazon.

I my last picture you get the whole card.  The design papers which I've distressed and torn are from Lemoncraft.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge.

CRAFT Challenge 474 - Thank You!

SheepSki Designs is sponsoring C.R.A.F.T. Challenge. I'm also guest designing for them this week.  The theme for Challenge 474 - Is Thank You!

We're also sponsoring Star of the Month :)

The image has been coloured with Copics, I'm not sure if you can see I've used gold and white gel pens to add some flower in the grass.

The image, design papers from Joy Craft, Maja Design and black card have all been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

The wood chip thank you sentiment and flower stem I found at Scrap and Craft.

Thanks for taking a look today

A Bit of Everything.....

We're sponsored this month by Through the Craft Room Door at Outlawz Sketch.  So this month is a bit of a free for all on images we can use.

First of all I'll share out sketch.  Ok so when I saw it I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.  I was in fussy and fancy mode so I do apologies there are lots of photos to follow.

In my first photo your can see some resin embellishments.  I put the flower heart down first and wanted to put the butterfly over the top.  I was having an issue making them "stick" so I ended up putting some tiny blossoms down first and the gluing the butterfly on top - woop hoo it worked!

Instead of a single tag I've double stacked.  The tags were cut using a die and some design paper from Lemoncraft.  In fact all my design papers today are from Lemoncraft.

The tags are tied together with some pink seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.  On top of this are a couple of resin doves.

You can just see in the next picture underneath the rose heart there's a heart shaped doily.

To fit in with the sketch I've made a circular arrangement of flowers.  There's a bit of a combination here that I've had in my stash for ages.

As well ask showing the 3-d effect of the flowers in this picture you can see the lace I've added which I got from The Ribbon Girl.  There are actually two different types I've layered up.  At the top of this are some sections of pearl string.

Here you can see the whole card and my fussy and fancy interpretation of the sketch.

The wedding day sentiment is a wood chip one from Scrapiniec.

The final photo shows an angled side shot so you can see the 3-d effect of the flowers.

Hope yo like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from Joy Craft.  I've kept the colour pallet simple to two colours.  I've also used some black card.

The butterfly chip board embellishments I found at Scrap and Craft.  My final addition a large paper flower I found in Hobby Craft.

I've used Taking Pics (you can find it here in my shop) to create my Father's Day card.  I'll be giving it to my dad later today :)

A little nature

We're been sponsored by Through The Craft Room Door this month at Outlawz Sketch.

That mean we get to use whatever images we like for our inspiration this time :)

I've chosen an image from Rick St Dennis called Steampunk Rose Bug.  The images has been coloured with Copics.  I've them cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  the edges has been distressed with antique linen, vintage photo and black soot inks from Tim Holtz.  I've then scattered some embossing enamel and heated it.  After this I've cut some black card with a Sepllbinders die and mounted the image onto it.

Here's our sketch for this week

My design papers are from Prima Marketing, Lili of the Valley and I've also used some more black card.  Behind the image you can see some cream lace which I got from The Ribbon Girl.

The double banners were produced using a La La Land die, some black card and paper from Prima Marketing.  Along the banner I've added a few black gems.  The sentiment is a wood chip one from Scrapiniec.

Hope you like my inspiration for today and we see you at the challenge
