A Land Far Away.......

.......there was a baby crow.  He'd just learned to fly and spent all his time floating around above the beautiful hills in a land far far away where everything was always good and peaceful.  Until one day....

Small Woodland Creatures is the theme over at Marker Papers Digis.  If you'd like to enter into the challenge we'd love to see your colourings of our images (some of them reduced for all September).  We'd also love to see your Story Time Creations.

I've colours the little cutie with Copics.  For my story theme I sketched in some hills and a castle style house on a hill.  Everything apart form the crow was coloured with ProMarkers.  I've also used polychromos pencils on this creation.

Producing a CAS style card I;ve just done some doodling in biro round the edge of the card.

The works on the card were hand written with biro.

O for Open

Wow can you believe how fast this year is going.  September today!  The new challenge we have at the ABC Challenge is O if for Open.  Meaning...... ANYTHING GOES ladies!

This challenge is sponsored by Conie Fong and Bunny Zoe, Conie's images are so beautiful - this one you can see here is Lavender's Blue.  I've coloured it with proMarker and added a little black polychromos for extra shading.

Around the image you can see some emossing enamel.  The edges have bee distressed before mounting onto some white card stock.

The design papers are from First Edition, Studio 75 and Maja Design.  Some of these has been distressed as well.

Behind the image you can see a heart doily.  At the top of the card a flat back pearl string and at the bottom some organza rose trim which I got from Wild Orchid Crafts.

There's a mixture of flowers from The Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts.

My final additions two silver dragonfly charms and some pearl gems.

Sweet dreams

I'm finishing off my month of sponsorship at Outlawz Sketch with this little bit of inspiration.

This little cutie is Morpheus.  He's been coloured with ProMarkers and I've added some black polychromos pencil to give the shadows more depth.

Here's our sketch for today

The papers are black card stock and Lemoncraft.

I've used Spellbinders dies and Marianne Design dies and a paper flower in the middle of the two paper swirls.

Little black gems and some green enamel dots complete the look.

Jo's Daffodils

I so enjoyed creating this.  A guy who my hubby works with wanted a card for his wife's 60th birthday.  He loved the simplicity of my freesias image and card.  He asked if I could create one with daffodils, her favourite flower.  I just sent him the photo of the finished card this morning and he love it!

I've coloured this image with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  The commission was for a CAS style card.  the sentiment created at the time of printing the image.

I've finished the card by doing a little biro doodling, adding a couple of sequins and a scattering of gems

Blue hues

We're half way through the Blue challenge on the blog.  It's reminder day and I though for a change I'd stick with the theme :D

You can get this little cutie (image 218) from Lizzy's shop on Etsy - don't forget you can get 10% off my quoting my code DTANDREA10.

I've coloured Bella with ProMarkers adding a little black polychromos pencil for extra depth in the shading.  I've also added a pink glitter heart from Paperchase next to her.

The image and design papers from Maja Design and Joy Crafts have been distressed.  Also before I mounted in onto the backing paper I distressed the edges of the image with Milled Lavender distress ink from Tim Holtz.

I've hardly used any embellishments on this card, only a few gems and a wood chip love heart.

I managed to find some time today to make Virgo into a card.  This is a new image just released at SheepSki Designs - you can find it in my shop here.

This image was coloured with Copics and I've added a little black polychromos pencil for added depth

Just making her into a CAS card I've embellished the card with a few rhine stones, a sequin and a little biro doodling.
