Dressy shoes

I was recently very luck to be picked my Mr Random on a challenge.  This was one of the fantastic images I picked from Bugaboo as part of my prize.  It's called Heels - Strap Bow.

I decided to try my hand with my Copics again and have just done the shoe in black and red.

I don't aften do CAS cards so I also thought I's try and keep this one simple and classy.

I've used my computer to create the sentiment before I printed the image off.

All I've done is use some black card stock to frame the image and add a bit of bling to the "I" in girl and to the top left corner.

And I totally agree with the sentiment ;)

So here I am playing around with colour again.  This amazing image from Unky at The East Wind is Lucy Loo Close Up.  I wanted to try my hand at red hair again and this is the result.  A fabulous firey mane of red hair with and orangey sheen!

I'm afraid to say I went with my old faithful ProMarkers here, I've also used a black polychroms pencil for a bit of extra shading and  a white gel pen for the highlight in the eye.

The background was also produced with ProMarkers.  I definitely needed to keep her as the focus so I've mounted her onto black and orange card stock to bring out the colour.

The two design papers are from Lili of the Valley and UHK Gallery.

The only embellishment I've added are some small orange neon enamel dots.

Oh and the eye is probably the best I've done so far :D

I've coloured Baseball Bear with Copics and ProMarkers in the theme or autumn colours - missing orange but I suppose you can't do orange on every autumn card ;)

He's then been cut out with a Spellbinders die.  The edges which look distressed are actually coloured with ProMarkers and a blending pen.

I have a mixed bag of design papers from Lili of the Valley, Santoro Gorjuss and Studio 75 making up many layers.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a Lili of the Valley Art pad.  I've coloured this with ProMarker and a blending pen too.

Finally the soft brown pearlised self adhesive gems are from Scrapberry's

Tonight I have some more Oddball Art inspiration for you.  Here I've combined two of Lizzy's images.  The If You've Got It Haunt It image from Set 98 and Image 118.  I kinda got this idea when I was driving to work (it's very boring driving up the motorway and back everyday).

The image and background have been coloured with Copics and mounted onto some black card stock, before mounting onto the card leaving a white border.  I've then fussy cut Vinny vampire ted out and mounted him over the top of the Haunt It image. I've used some stickpads on his top half to give him some more dimension.

The actual image in the background only came with a couple of bats so i drew in some more using a black polychromos pencil.

The BOO! sentiment is made out of some glitter sticker letters

You can never have too muck PINK

I have been neglecting my pink lately.  Its all the Halloween and autumn themes at the moment :D

So here I am with some PINK!

I've had this image for ages from Polkadoodles - Octavia Moonfly Wistful and I needed something girly so she's finally coloured - yay!

I've done this using ProMarkers and a little black polychromos pencil.  I've also added some glitter to her wings - coz all fairies should have glittery wings.

The design papers are from Lili of the Valley - the Roses and Romance pad and I've used three of them out of the set.  The sentiment coloured the ProMarker is from one of their art pads.

The cerise spotted ribbon with the hand tied bow and the two silver mushroom beads are from The Ribbon Girl.  The pink pearlised gems are the finishing touch.

Ahhhh.... I do feel much better now I've done something pink.

A little bit of ice n snow

I've loved this image Winter Fairy Halla from Mo Manning for absolutely ages and I've finally got her - yay!!

I've coloured her in very pale pastel blues and baby blond hair.  Added to the ice/magic she's  blowing is some stampendous glitter and mica.  She's also go glitter on her wings but you can't see it in this photo.  Under her feet some snowtex (a recent discover that's absolutely fab!) and I've also added some glitter in here.

She's been cut out with a Spellbinders die, edges with blue ProMarker then distressed.

I decided to do another shaped card because I still had them out.  They are hard work though because I have to draw and cut everything by hand.  All the design papers are from First Edition and have been distressed.

Added extras are some blue organza spotted ribbon and a hand tied bow.  Some snowball ribbon and some flat pearl trim - all from the Ribbon Girl.  There's also two type of blue self adhesive gems.

I really must get on with making more Christmas cards - it's sneaking up on me!
