Bubble Hair

Sketch day - this is my latest inspiration for Outlawz Sketch using images from our sponsor DigiStamps4Joy this month.  I've used Phantasi 1 for my inspiration this week.

She's been coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  she's been cut out with a Spellbinders die and mounted onto some black card, also cut with a Spellbinders die.

I've used some back and red card and design papers from Lili of the Valley.

She's embellished with black spotty ribbon and bow from Docraft and a burgundy heart button.

Just sharing a very simple card with you today, design this way to showcase the image and also if anyone wants me to customise it I can :)

The image is a new release from SheepSki Designs called My Music showing a teenage girl listening to her music on a summer day.

I've coloured the image with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Doodled a border and Kraft seemed the perfect way to go to frame her,  I've also added a few rhine stones for a bit of interest and bling.

Special Friend

Over at Outlawz Sketch we've two different sketches to show you today.  Check out the main site to see both and the DT inspiration.

We're using images from DigiStamps4Joy this month.  I've decorated the inside and outside of my card this time using two of their images.

The first you can see here is Daffodil.  I've used a very clean design for the front of my card just using some black card to create a frame.

Added to the front are some tiny wooden hearts made into butterflies, there are a few rhine stones for bling and interest.

On the opposite side is a laser wood chip embellishment from Miszmasz and also a sentiment.

The second image is Juliette, inside the image at the time of printing I added a Happy Birthday sentiment.  She's also been framed with some black card.

All my colouring was done with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.

Here's one of the sketches for today.

As you can see Juliette makes up the centre panel.  For the side openings I've used two doilies.  Behind this are two sections of the same design paper from 

Here's a close up of the panel with Juliette.  I've chosen to use hot colours to contrast with the black.

Surfs Up

For the second half of the All Dressed Up inspiration for Wendy's new release images I've got to play with Surfs Up

The image was coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Originally I coloured some water in the background, then changes my mind because I wanted to do the shark surfing the waves.  So I ended up fussy cutting him.

The design papers are from Studio Light and I've also used some plain red card.  I've used a Spellbinders die to cut the waves and then distressed them so they stand our more.

The sentiment is from two different word sets from Scrapienic.  I've doodles a few seagulls into the background.

And added a fish from Little B 3D Stickers (I found these in Hobbycraft)

Things with Wings

We've a THINGS WITH WINGS thing going on at Fussy and Fancy Fridays this next fortnight.

I've used Bumble Bee Blossom from SheepSki Designs for my inspiration.  I've coloured it with a combination of Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

Cut with a Spellbinders die, the edges have been distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.  I've then scattered two types of embossing enamel onto it.

The shaped card has been covered with black card.  Two square cut design papers from Lemoncraft and Joy Crafts have been distressed before adding then to the card base.

My finishing touches are some apple blossoms and lilies.  There are also some laser cut wood chip elements from Scrapienic and a "Made with Love" sentiment.

Breezy Beach Walk

I've finally had time to get Breezy Beach Walk coloured up and a very simple card made.

To get this look I've used a combination of ProMarkers, Copics, polychromos pencils and a white gel pen.

I've just framed it with some back card and added a "Summer" sentiment.

Happy flowers

Did anyone notice, I was sneaky and added an extra image into my shop at the weekend :)

I had the need to create something beautiful and happy.  So I decided it was time to do some sunflowers.  You can find this image in my Etsy shop and if you quote code SKIANDREA10 you'll get yourself 10% off my images

The image was coloured mainly with Copics (maybe I'm starting to get used to them a bit) I only used my ProMarkers on the stems and polchromos pencils on the stems and to create the petal detail.  What do you call the tiny thin lines that run along the petals that look like tiny veins?

Anyway I'm rambling on.  The background was also done with Copics.  I've doodled a border, framed it with some black card and added a Birthday sentiment from Scrapiniec.

Purple and blue just for you

It's Wednesday, Sketch day over at Outlawz.  We're sponsored this month by DigiStamps4Joy.

My inspiration for this week is using Happy Birthday 2 U.  I've coloured it with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils leaving some parts completely uncoloured and white to give a contrast.

The image was fussy cut to give the internal square shape n the sketch.

Behind the image is some purple design paper from Lili of the Valley to frame it.

The only thing I've done is a little doodling to frame the whole card making it a very plain and simple card.

Purity

Sweet and innocent - that's what I was aiming for with this one.  The Purity came from the white rose in the black and white image.

I've coloured her with ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  At first I did the rose pink and my hubby suggested I did it red.  So for the highlights on the rose this time are done with a white gel pen, because I'd gone too far to do them with my pens and pencils.

The design paper is from Joy Crafts and I've used some black card to frame her.

The heart and sentiment (coloured black with Copic) are from Scrapienic and the ribbon I've had in my stash for ages, but I think its a Docrafts one.

Bear Feet

Tiny guy in his jumper & bear feet.  This image is called Bear Feet - well coz I've drawn his slipper with paws on :D

I've coloured Bear Feet with ProMarkers, he's then been cut out with a Spellbinders die.  I've used a different Spellbinders die to cut the background circle behind the image.

I've goe very simple with this one and just used lots of layers of design papers from Maja Design.

The banner was cut using a Fantasy die and I used three of the hearts from that around the image.

To finish off I've used a Happy Birthday sentiment from Lili of the Valley.

A bit too pink?

Wednesday Sketch team at Outlawz is being sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy this month.

I think I may have gone a bit overboard on this pink for this week LOL!!  I'll let you decide.

I've used two images on one card.  The first you can see here is image Tinka in the Tower.  The second one is behind with the flowers.  I've made it into a piece of design paper to fit in with the sketch.  This image has the reference Daisy Power.

Both images were coloured with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  I fussy cut the top image to fit later.

We've a new challenge for you over at the All Dressed Up Facebook Group - Girlz Rule!  We'd love to see you creations with Wendy's girls from her Etsy shop.

The image I've used today for my inspiration for you is the beautiful new image called Day Dreaming.  I've coloured it with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  Shes been framed with some blue and black card to match theme of the rest of the card.

My design papers are from Maja Design and Lemoncraft.

I've used a new die from Fantasy Dies, some tiny silver star charms, a few gems to give the dark night circle some starry bling.

The dreamer sentiment is from Scrapienic.  I've coloured it with black ProMarkers then used some DecoArt glitter to add some sparkle.  Last things to mention are some feathers cut from the same Lemoncraft paper and a few black gems

So onto my card.  A little while ago I created Snowmen Selfie some of you should have picked it up as a freebie.  It's on my challenge blog.

I've coloured the image with ProMarkers and polychromos pencils

I used black soot ink from Tim Holtz on the edges and then distressed it, it was then mounted onto some black card.

Papers are from Maja Design and JoyCrafts, a bit more black card and a couple of scraps of left over paper (I've LOTS of these to use up).  I've added some film strip from Tim Hotlz, a couple of tiny cameras and a couple of sentiments from Scrapienic.

I then decided to go mad with a while gel pen and add lots of dots for snow :D

Honoured to be a Guest Designer at Do-Al(l) Kreatives today I'm also sponsoring their challenge for the month.  Their theme this time is Summerkids.  This fit in perfectly with one of my new images Jawz.  I've used the image without the bathtub for this one :D

The boys just looks like he's swimming in the sea with mini sharks, or dolphins ;)

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers, I've then cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  The circle frame was cut out of Maja Design paper with another Spellbinders die.

I've used more Maja Design papers for the rest of the card layering it up.  Added to this are some fish stockers from Little B (a find in Hobby Craft).  There's a sentiment from Scrapienic coloured with navy ProMarker and a whale in a bottle.

The only other ting I added were a few blue gems.
