I'm honoured today to have been invited to be a GDT at Creative Craft Cottage. Their current challenge theme is Christmas in July.
I coloured Winter Fairy from Fabrika Fantasy in monochromatic colours whilst I was on holiday in the Lake District, but had to wait until I was back to be able to make a card :)
I've used a mixture of Copics, Promarkers and polychromos pencils to achieve this look.
The distressed design papers are from Lili of the Valley and First Edition. Underneath the image is some crafting gauze, at the bottom of the card some organza rose trim. I added some pearl gems to the centre of the roses. The small wooden Christmas sentiment was bought from Hobby Craft last year.
The spray of flowers are a combination of fabric and paper flowers from Noor Designs and the Ribbon Girl. The silver and pearly bead sprays from the wedding section in Hobby Craft.
I don't know if you've noticed there a re also three tiny brass bells painted white at the bottom of the flower arrangements. Umm I think i got these from The Ribbon Girl.
Hope you love my inspiration - thanks for taking a look

ReplyDeleteFirst of all Andrea, many congratulations on your GD spot, I know how exciting that is. Your Ice Maiden is a real beauty and I like how you've coloured her in that gorgeous icy blue which echoes the colour on the background papers. The floral display gives the perfect finish and the little bells are lovely. Thank you for sharing this with us at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x
