I didn't intend to do this image in red originally I was going to do pale wispy pinks or purples. I was colouring something else red and I got to wondering how she's look red.
The image in question - My Fair Lady. You can find her in my shop on Etsy where you can get 10% off all my images by quoting code SKIANDREA10 at checkout.
I've had her coloured for a while and decided I'd use her to create some inspiration for today's new Facebook challenge in my group SheepSki Designs.
She's been coloured with Copics. the streaky background was also created with Copics. I've added two different colour embossing enamels to her before distressing the edges and mounting it onto some red card to frame.
Using a shaped card which I've backed with red card I've drawn, cut and distressed the same shape in a smaller version to create a border. The design paper is from Lemoncraft.
Behind the image you can see some some lace which I got from Noor Design. The wood chipboard cherry blossom spray I've overlaid the image with is from Mismasz.
To finish a few pearl gems.
Hope to see you at my Facebook Challenge OR my blog challenge. The theme there is Anything Goes his month AND you don't have to use my images to join in :D
Happy crafting
