Lavender and Lace

Today I'm honoured to be a guest designer for The Dream Factory!  Their theme this month is from the film Birnenkuchen mit Lavendel - which translated literally means pear cake with lavender.

Coloured used for the theme are green, orange and purple, along with the works cake and Provence (where the story takes place).

I decided to make a cake gift bag for my inspiration using the colours of the theme with lavender floral design paper.

The design paper are from Pion, I've cut a green butterfly out of some Lemoncraft design paper.  The Cake tags were made with dies.

The design papers were distressed using a Tonic Solutions tool.  I've added some frothy cream lace, a string of pearly to frame the design papers and a tiny resin corner I've had in my stash for years!

Roarsome birthday

 So it's that Outlawz Sketch time again, I've been so busy this last month I was slightly late with my card, but it's there now!

We have no sponsor for this month so I've decided to use an image form Lee Holland, I do love his images :)

I've no sentiment on this one although I am thinking about adding something like a roarsome birthday!

This one is called Cute Lion.  I've coloured it with Copics and then cut the oval shape out by hand.

This is our sketch for the month.

I went shopping the other day at Hobbycraft and found some new design papers, this is one one them.

The grass at the front was cut out of left over paper and black card stock using an icicle die that I've turned upside down.  The design paper is also matter onto black card stock.  The only other thing I've added are some black gems.

Dino Christmas

Today is our challenge day at All Dressed Up in the Facebook Group.  Out theme for this month is YOUR FAVOURITE THINGS!

I'm using Monster Dino for my inspiration, you can find him in Wendy's shop here.

So my favourite things for this card are colouring with Copics, Christmas, embossing enamel, CAS (no layers just the image coloured card) style and of course cute dinosaurs :D

I think I've probably told you everything about the card apart from the sentiment which is a Hobby Craft one coloured with Copics.

Melted Mallows

Our new challenge starts today in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group.  Anything Goes with one of our images or you can do the optional twist.

I'm using Mallows for for inspiration, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  With there being a fire I thought I'd create one of my favourite night scenes.

A sprinkling of embossing enamel add a starry night effect.  Just a single layered card today to showcase the image.

Summer's Here

I don't often make slimline cards, but I though this new release image from All Dressed Up called Summer was perfect for one.

I've not done much with this one, because I wanted to showcase the image.  So I got my Copics to colour her and a scene.

 

Just a single layered card with no embellies, just some doodling for a border.
