Ladies who lunch ;)

It's FriYAY! and that means it's Colour Crazy Challenge Day.  We're sponsored this time by Patties Creations.  I'm using Cheers to You, Ladies for my inspiration, you can find it here it their shop.

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've scattered a little embossing enamel onto the background for some added celebration sparkle.  Once I'd done this I doodled a border around the image.

Design papers are scrapbooking ones from my stash, not sure if these are UHK Gallery or Lemoncraft and there's also come black card for framing..  I've used a Fantasy Die for the banners and the sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.

Stepping Out

This is a fairly recent image called Stepping Out, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've created this card for our anything goes challenge at SheepSki Designs in the Facebook Group.  The optional twist this time is "CUTIES".

The image has been coloured with Copics in monochrome with a pop of red for the woman's coat.  Once I'd coloured the image I debated for a while and then sketched in a  background.  Originally I was also going to add some building in the background. I didn't because I ran out of time and also I though it looked quite romantic walking down a country road or a park path.

Anyways.... because I'd coloured more background I decided it should be the focus and just added some black card to frame the image.

Vintage Steampunk Wedding

I'm honoured to be a Guest Designer with The Dream Factory for their latest challenge.  Their movie theme for this month is Old.

I got my thinking cap on and dug out some stamps, yes that's right me stamping, I can't remember the last time I did that.  They're Kaban Crafts ones (not sure if you can still get them?).

I've coloured the image with Copics, using hints of colour, the woman is in the E40's range and the man in the W's grey range of Copics.  After colouring them I fussy cut them.

I then had a big hunt through my scrapbook papers and finally decided to go full on Steampunk.  I found an old vintage style street lamp in my stash I've had forever, its a wood chip one from Hobby Craft.  The butterfly was cut out of some other scrapbooking papers.

Final additions to the card, some gypsophila I've had in my stash for a long time, some white rose buds, a small white rose, a tiny wooden heart and a sentiment made up from Tim Holtz stickers "Love Cherish Adore"

Musical Birthday

I completely forgot to share my GDT inspiration for Penny's Challenge using images from Twinkle Lane Designs (really need to retire so my day job stops interfering with my crafty time!).

I'm using Time for Music for my inspiration.

This image was so different form anything I've used before :)

It's been coloured with Copics.

For a change I've made a slimline card, which is one layer and has been made kind of grungy using some Tim Holtz Vintge Photo ink.

Xmas Party

1st of the month and the new challenge has started at SheepSki Designs on the challenge blog.

The theme is Christmas in July.

I've used one of my favourite images called Garden Party for this one, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured them with Copics, giving each hat a different design.

To make it look more seasonal I've sprinkled some embossing enamel, making sure the gnome with the tongue has caught a snowflake ;)

My design papers are from First Edition.  The sentiment has been created from the same design paper using Sizzix letter dies.

Summer Holi-yays!

I'm doing something a little fun for our latest Facebook Challenge at All Dressed Up.  Our theme is Holidays (Any Season).  I've done a summer card using Dogs In Shades, you can find it in Wendy's shop here.

The image had been coloured with Copics with bright colours for the dogs shades etc.

I've created a single layer card to keep to focus on the image.  The Summer Holi-yays! sentiment was created out of scraps of design paper cut with Sizzix letters.
