Heart and Soul

Over at Colour Crazy Craft Challenge our sponsor this time is Oddball Art.  I used to DT for Lizzy and I so miss using her creepy cute images!

This one is called Princess Ash, you can find her here.

I've coloured her with Copics.  Once I finished her I was looking through my design papers and came across this frame I'd cut for something else but not used, it was just perfect!  Underneath the frame is a section.  Both of these papers are from Hobby Craft.

I've not added much to this one, I found a purple heart enamel sticker and I've made a sentiment "Heart and Soul" using Tim Holtz stickers.

Wine Bottle Tag

Here I an recycling again, love making tags with recycled cardboard :D

I've made this tag for the latest Facebook challenge for SheepSki Designs.  We're always anything goes with our images and have optional twists, this month's is pick a shape.  You can pick any shape you like even a square!

 

The image I've used is called Wine Time, you can find it here in the shop where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

I've coloured the image with Copics, the tag and background design paper from Lemoncraft have been cut with a die.  The image hand cut to fit inside with a border.   The edges of all have been distressed.

A few enamel dots, a selection of ribbons and twine from my stash and a sentiment made from Tim Holtz stickers were the final bits I added.

Best Teacher

Have you seen the new images from All Dressed Up this month, Wendy had done it again :D

This little cutie is called To The Best Teacher, you can find it in the shop here

She's been coloured with Copics in a simple colour pallet to make her pop.

 

With a scalloped edged card, I've matter her on some blue design paper from Lily of the Valley.  the banner is made from left over scraps, one of those blue glitter paper.  A couple of sequins and gems for some bling to finish

Time for my dreams.....

So we're sponsoring 613 Avenue Create this month, as well as that I'm honoured to be a guest designer with them and a Master Rocker this time :)

Their optional twist this time is Let It All Hang Out.  It's been a long long long long time since I did any mixed media so I though this the perfect opportunity.  

I got a couple of wooden door hangers from Hobbycraft a few weeks ago ready for this project.

I've used Morpheus the little sleeping dragon for my inspiration, you can find him in the shop here.  He's been coloured with Copics and them fussy cut.  Then I had a bit of a block after colouring him.  I was going to make my own cloudy background with some modelling past but our holiday got a bit in the way.  A crazy week at home, we were supposed to be chilling and well that didn't happen.  I've gone back to work this week for a rest haha!

So I grabbed a bit of time towards the end of last week and dug out some stencils.  I found some lovely floral ones from Tim Holtz and some dots.  I also used the ones with the scrip writing on (can't remember who that one is by without doing a lot of digging).

One I'd done the modelling paste bit and dried it I splashed some black gesso on and dried it.

Once dried I started to highlight the raised parts with Metallic gilding polish from Creative Expressions, some Distress Spray Stains from Tim Holtz and DecoArt Interference Fluid Acrylics.  Out with the heat gun again! 

Finally I added Morpheus, some silver gems, a white star and a sentiment "Time for my Dreams"

Really enjoyed my crafty time, just wish it wasn't so rushed!  Bloomin holidays :D

Happy Everything

Today I have the honour of sharing some GDT at Through the Purple Haze, who we are sponsoring this time.

I'm using Annabell and Aggie for my inspiration, you can find it here at SheepSki Designs.

The image had been coloured with Copics.

I've created a simple design, piking design paper from First Edition to match the colour scheme.

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, that and the design paper behind have been cut out with a Spellbinders die.

Black and Silver

So we've got a theme of pick a colour or colours in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge this time.  Yes it can be your favourite colour or colours OR you can just pick colours to use.

I had my nails done black and silver glitter a couple of weeks ago and I loved then, so I decided to pick this for my theme.

The image I'm using is called Prosecco Time, you can find it in Wendy's shop here.

She's been coloured with Copics and then hand cut.  Some black card cut with a Spellbinder die is the matting behind her.

I've used, silver and black gems, some silver glitter paper, black card and some design paper from First Edition, which is actually a Christmas one but I thought it fit well :)

Just a little bit of Mischief....

Our challenge theme at SheepSki Designs on the Challenge Blog is Checks or Stripes.

I though this little guy would be perfect because he already has stripes :)
