Peachy

Last challenge for March with Outlawz Sketch, that mean we get to use an extra image from All Dressed Up our sponsors for March.

I'm using one of the girls from Wear with Style.

I've coloured the image with Copics, using peaches and greys, not a combination I normally use but I love the result!

I've scattered some embossing enamel around the image and distressed the edges with black soot ink from Tim Holtz.

Here's out sketch for the next two weeks.

My design papers are from Dovecraft and First Edition.

The sentiment from Lili of the Valley, has been cut out with a die as has the paper behind it.  My final addition are some peach and white papers flowers.

Best Mummy

Today is our day at All Dressed Up for our second lot of new release inspiration.  I'm using Best Mummy for my inspiration, you can find it here

The image has been coloured with Copics.  The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain distress ink from Tim Holtz.  I've scattered some embossing enamel around the edges.

My design paper is from Lemoncraft, I've added some lace behind the image and some pearl string.  Finally a few pink pearl gems.

I've been toying with this one for a while.  I had the idea, oooo maybe about 9 months ago.  I finally faffed with it enough to decide on two gnomes clinking their ale glasses.  Mainly because that what a lot of us are missing at the moment, seeing friends.

I sketched in a find of bar environment for the gnomes.  /usually I do them in more "natural" wild settings :)

The image was coloured with Copics.

Creating a single layer card to showcase the image, I've just added a CHEERS sentiment.

Xmas Dino

We have a Cute Critters theme at All Dressed Up in the Facebook group for our challenge this month.

It's given me the opportunity to make my first Christmas card of the year, so I don't get behind and have a mad panic running up to Christmas!

Creating a simple card so its easy to post, I've just added a strip of design paper from First Edition a couple of yellow star stickers and a wood chip Christmas sentiment.

Hot Choc-lit

Our challenge at SheepSki Design on this blog this month is GIRLS, GILRS, GIRLS!

I've chosen to use a new image Hot Chocolate for my inspiration.  You can get 10% off all images in the shop by quoting SKIANDREA10 at chekout.

I've coloured the image with Copics, distressed it with come Vintage Photo ink from Tim Hotlz and added a little embossing enamel.

The image has been frames with a stitched die using design paper from First Edition.

Creating a simple layout,I cut come letters out of brown paper to go with the chocolate theme.  A few sequins finish the card off.
