Heart You

It's our second lot of new release inspiration at All Dressed Up today.  I'm using Heart You, you can find it here.

I've coloured with image with Copics.  Using a simple design, I've doodled around the edge of the image.

Layered onto sone design paper from Hobby Craft, I had no embellishments, just showcasing the image.

This cute little mouse is from Sherry West, she's our sponsor at Outlawz Sketch this month.

I've coloured the image with Copics then fussy cut it out to add to the card.

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.  I'll admit I really struggled with this one for some reason and I don't quite know why.

My distressed design papers are from First Edition, Lemoncraft and Joy Craft (I think).

I've finished the card off adding a "Happy" sentiment, a wooden heart, some pearl gems and some mixed paper flowers from Hobby Craft.

My design paper is from Hobby Craft and I've also used black card for framing.

The SUMMER sentiment was cut out using Sizzix Letters.

Oh and nearly forgot to add there's a little embossing enamel under the butterflies for some magic sparkles!

Romance and / or use some red

Our challenge for February at SheepSki Designs is "Romance and / or use some red".

I've gone for the a red love theme on my card using Cat.

I've coloured Car with Copics, leaving a large white area to add a sentiment.

This is a wooden one which I found in Hobby Craft.  Just above are a couple of tiny wooden heart that I got off eBay.

The top section of the image has been cut with a die to create the curve.  The design paper you can see behind is from UHK Gallery.

My little friend

It's the first of the month and our new Facebook Challenge at All Dressed Up has started.  This month we'd love to see your creations with hearts and / or flowers!

I'm using Little Ladybird, she's been coloured with Copics.  Around the image you can see some embossing enamel.

The the left of the image I've added a mix of paper flowers, some vintage seam binding and a tiny ladybird.  Here's a close up.

The design paper is from First Edition.  All the edges have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

I've double cut a banner with hearts using a die, then layered them up.  One of the tiny hearts that was cut out with the die I've added to the image.

Underneath the image is some lace, a sentiment from Tim Holtz, a wood chip heart in circles and some pearls complete the card.
