Time for Cake

I'm using Time for Cake from All Dressed Up for my new image release inspiration today.  You can find it here in Wendy's Etsy shop.

I've decided to showcase the image by doing a CAS single layer card.  The image has been coloured with Copics.  I've also sketched in the background using grey Copics.

A little doodling at the corners and a birthday wishes sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with blue Copic finished the card.

I've chosen yo use Play Day for my inspiration for you, I've been dying to use this little cutie!

I've coloured her with Copics in a very simple pallet of pink and black.  I've then framed the image with some black card.

I've used some design paper from Hobbycraft and 13 Arts and some more black card.

I've added two strips of paw print ribbon which I got from Crafty Ribbons.  To finish off I've added a wood chip sentiment from Scrapineic coloured black.

Early Christmas

Good morning, I'm here to share my GDT creation for CRAFT today.  We're sponsoring them this week.  Their theme is Christmas, humorous.  Perfect for me because I'm trying to get ahead with my Christmas cards :)

This image is called Mindy, the image is based on my own cat that used to stalk the baubles on the Christmas tree, every year without fail LOL!!  You can find Mindy here in the shop where you can get 10% off all the images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

The image has been coloured with Copics, I've printed it large so I could create a CAS card.

It's a single layer card and the only thing I've added is the wooden red glittery Merry Christmas sentiment from Hobbycraft.

This is a bonus for me because I get to colour up extra images from Wendy this month!

This little cutie is called Fairy Swing you can find her in the shop here.

I've coloured the image with Copics.  Then I've cut the image so she fits inside a heart with her legs dangling over the edge.  The heart has been cut out using a die which I've then distressed with a Tonic solutions tool.

My design papers are from Studio Light, I've also used some more black card.  These have also been distressed.

Behind the image you can see some wood chip border embellishments from Scrapiniec.  The Love sentiment is also from them.

It's been a while since I did a cascade of flowers down a card so I decided to do it for this card as I thought it suited the image / card.

I've coloured the image with Copics and then framed it with some black card.  I found the perfect matching design paper from Hobbycraft so used this with some more black and white card to layer it up and keep with the colour scheme in the image.  The tiny white heart is a left over from some die cutting I was doing the other day :)

The sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.  I love you... and I love meuw! come with the image.

My only other addition are the rhine stones either side of the image.

Up up and away

We've finally managed to crawl out way through January LOL!!

So as it's the 1st of the month it means it's All Dressed Up Facebook challenge inspiration day :)

Our theme for this month is ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.  You can interpret this any way you like, Valentines, Weddings, Anniversaries, Friends....

I've chones to make a Valentines card but not a traditional red one.  My theme is grey and orange using Be My Valentine which you can find in Wendy's shop here.  I've used Copics to colour the card with.  The clouds were created using a stencil from one of Alyce's Kit & Clowder classes and I've used some of the techniques from this class as well.

I've framed the image with some black card and used some design paper from Hobbycraft.

The final addition was to add some orange enamel dots that I've had in my stash for ages.
