I see spots

This is the last week at Outlawz Sketch where we have Wink Wink Ink for our sponsor.

This time I've used Pup in Boots for my inspiration.  He's been coloured with Copics then cut out with a Spellbinders die.

My design papers are from Lemoncraft.  Including the two tiny banners.

I've added two lots of ribbon that I've had in my stash for ages in teal and yellow.  A sentiment from Lili of the Valley coloured with Copic.  Finally two butterfly buttons I've had in my stash for ages (from Hobby Craft)

Spring Birthday

It's a little while since I used Jo's Daffodils to make a card.  I've been practicing my flower colouring so I thought I'd give them another go.  I'd also seen Alyce's inspiration for this months colouring class at Kit & Clowder to have a go at glass vases and bubbles.  At least I think they're bubbles, I've not had a proper look at the class yet!  Before I tackle the class I wanted to try them then I've got something to compare it to :)

So after all that rambling ;) I coloured my image using Copics, a while gel pen and a black polychromos pencil.  I've recently seen some ladies entering my challenges on Facebook using black, yellow and white as their theme so I thought I'd try the combination myself for the full card.  Thank you for the inspiration lovely ladies <3

My design papers are from First Edition, Joy Crafts and a little black card, all layered up.  I've used a sentiment from Scrapiniec coloured with black Copic and a few Rhine stones to add a bit of bling.

I've coloured it with Copics and have actually got a list for you of the colours (yes don't faint!)

A little old age tenderness

It's that time of year again where I create something special for my hubby.  This year I've gone with another of his favourites - skeletons!!

There are two different versions of the image.  The one with just the skeletons I've sketched a heart.  All of the image was coloured with Copics.  I've added a little black polychromos pencil to add a little extra depth to the shading.

Finished off with layers of red and black card, I've added a Forever sentiment from Scrapiniec coloured with black Copic.

Perfect Pointe

We've a fantastic theme over at Fussy and Fancy Fridays this fortnight - Flowers, Lace and Pearls, some of my favourite embellishments :)

I've used Perfect Pointe for my inspiration image.  You may not have seen her before.  I drew her for one of my DT members and then snuck her into my shop just before Christmas.  You can find here here and get 10% off by quoting SKIANDREA10.  This applies to all my images.

I coloured her up with Copics just after Christmas then didn't know what to do with her so left her for a while.  I thought she'd be perfect for this challenge inspiration, the design kind of evolved as I went along.

I've sprinkled some embossing enamel around the image using white and gold.  There are a couple of tiny brass corners, you can just see one at the bottom right of the image above, these I got from Noor Design.  The edges of the image were distressed with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.

My design papers are from Maja Design, Joy Craft and Studio Light.  All these and the image have been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.  I've also sprkingles some embossing enamel and glitter onto the top layer of design papers.

Here's a close up of the flower section.  You can find the lace heart, the flat back pearl string and pins at The Ribbon Girl.  You can also find some of my flowers there.  The rest at Wild Orchid Crafts.

Layering up like a mad thing as you can see with pinks, aquas and creams, my final touch was to add a wood chip "love" heart from Scrapiniec.

Where Dragons Sleep

So where do tiny dragons sleep, in beautiful flowers I'd like to believe.  This is how I drew Morpheus.  You can find this little guy in my shop here.  I've created this card for the inspiration over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends this week where I've got three games running to win my images :) . If you don't already know I'm sponsoring them - but there's not a lot of time left if you want to grab the discount code or enter the games!

Coloured with Copics, a white polychromos pencil, and white and gold gel pens, I've textured the background using champagne (Faye knows what I mean - she taught me how to do it!)

I've kept the design very simple to showcase the image for you.  Morpheus has been framed with some black card and design paper from Maja Design.

A simple sentiment complimenting the image from Scrapineic - Always Follow Your Dreams.

What To Wear

Today is new release day at All Dressed Up.  Wendy has some amazing new images you can check them out in her Etsy shop here.

I'm using What to Wear today for my inspiration.

The image has been coloured in pastel pink and aqua using Copics.  I've tried my best to get a reflection image in the mirror for you.  Not brilliant but you kinda get the idea :)

My design papers are from Lemoncraft, Joy Craft and Lili of the Valley.  All the design papers and the image have been distressed.

I've doodles a border round the image.  Used a Scrapiniec sentiment coloured with Copic and added LOTS of DecoArt glitter to it for some girly sparkle.  Finally there are some pearl gems added to the edges of some of the design papers.

I've used papers from Maja Design, Lili of the Valley and Studio Light.  Added to the tag are some different fibres in burgundy, two tiny wooden hearts, some brown rose trim and some word stickers from Tim Holtz.

The mushrooms are paper cut with a die from Joy Crafts.  The wispy grass stems are wood chip embellishments I got from Wild Orchid Crafts a couple of years ago.

White paws

This is Virgo, called this because that's the month I created it :)It also has a hand drawn Virgo sign with it.  I've only just had chance to colour up this version of it without the star sign.

Practicing with my Copics, I've done it in warm greys with white paws.  It reminds me of a cat we used to have when I was little.

Using some neutral toned papers and embellishments I've used some orange to give the card pops of colour.

The design papers were from Studio Light, Lemoncraft and First Edition.

Embellishments for this card are some tiny silver dragonfly charms I found on Amazon.  Some white paper flowers from Hobby Craft.  A tiny wooden heart from eBay.  A wood chip sentiment from Scrapiniec.  Finally some black gems.

Valentine's Kiss

I've been meaning to use this image from All Dressed Up for absolutely ages.  The theme for February's Facebook Challenge is Love / Romance / Red / Hearts which was a perfect excuse to use A Kiss for Valentine's

I've used Copics to colour the image and then added some gold gel pen for sparkles in the centre of the flowers.  I've also done a little extra shading for depth with a black polychromos pencil.

The design paper which is cut diagonally is from Maja Design.  I've also used some burgundy and Kraft card.

The Love sentiment is a wooden embellishment which I found in the wedding section at Hobby Craft.  The XOX are some brass letters which I also found in Hobby Craft not long ago.  The final thing I added were a couple of red heart stickers from Paperchase.
