Perfect Day

Today I've the honour of being a guest designer at Scrapping4Fun.  Their theme this time is Fall Colours.

I'd recently won some images from StarStampz and this one is just perfect for the theme - its called Autumn Fall Girl Reading

I've coloured the image with Copics and a little polychromos pencil creating a CAS card.

All I've done is added a little biro to give it a border and used a wood chip sentiment.  This wood chip sentiment was coloured with Copic.

Snow n ice

It's reminder time at Oddball Art Challenge blog.  Not many people have entered so I thought I'd give you a little more "Circles" inspiration

I love this image (number 138) you can get him and any of Lizzy's images with 10% off by quoting DTANDREA10 at checkout

I've used ProMarkers and a little polychromos pencil to give him this frosty look.

A single layer creation I've added some snowtext, done some doodling with biro to give it a border, used some white glitter letters for the sentiments and added a few sliver snowflake charms to complete the look

Lizzy has some new releases today at Oddball Art.  This little cutie you can see here is image 330.  you can find the image in her Etsy shop and get 10% disount at check out by quoting m code DTANDREA10 :D

I coloured the image with a combination of ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils

The image and all the design papers were distressed.  I've used paper from Lemoncraft and some black card stock.

The sentiment comes with the image :D

The embellishments I've used are some chip board elements from Scrapienic, a couple of heart stickers from Paperchase and some black gems.

Warm hands

Here's a little inspiration for you for the All Dressed Up new release images.

This one is Warm Hands Warm Heart - you can find her on Etsy.

I've used ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils to colour this image.

She's then been cut out with a Spellbinders die and I've used some antique linen and vintage photo ink to distress it.

Below is a close up of the flower arrangement, this is a combination of flowers from The Ribbon Girl, Wild Orchid Crafts, Live and Love Crafts.  the pin from The Ribbon Girl and the wood chip is a Christmas embellishment from Scrapeinic.

Other embellishments used are some tiny wooden hearts which I've had in my stash for ever (think I got them at the Glitter Pot), a metal corner (this one was a Santoro one) and some brown organza rose trim from Lemoncraft.

All the design paper are hand cut and are from Dovecraft, Santoro and First Edition.

We've a couple of challenges you can enter at All Dressed Up.  The challenge blog has returned after the summer break - the theme is anything goes with an All Dressed Up image.

New sketch challenge at Outlawz today - here I've used Bella from DigiStamps4Joy, our sponsor for the month.

I've coloured Bella using Copics with a little black polychromos pencil for extra shading.  Hopefully I've achieved a shaggy dog look :D

The image and paper she's been mounted on were cut with Spellbinders dies.

I've altered mine slightly and just used two lines of ribbon instead - mainly coz I've been dying to use this PAWS ribbon which I got from Crafty Ribbons.

Here's one I've made for my dad.  Guy cards are so hard to do but I think I did ok here.

I've used Rocket Man from Bloobel Stamps.

I've added a sentiment to him before printing him and then coloured it with Copics.  I've tried to give an impression of movement by the trails of grey to the left of the image.

The embellishments are metal charms I won from Though the Craft Room Door a long time ago.

To finish the card off I've just doodled a border :D

So did you miss us - we've had a BIG summer break at All Dressed Up on the blog and we've had a bit of a change round with the team.  We've also had a DT call so we'll be in touch with the new Dressy Girls soon.

My inspiration for you today is a CAS style card using Gaming Boy

I've coloured him with ProMarkers and cut him out with a Spellbinders die, mounting him onto some black card stock also cut with a Spellbinders die.

The design papers are from First Edition

All I've added to this card are some black glitter letter to make the sentiment and what look like some >>>> arrows/chevrons which are from Docrafts

Pink fallen angel

Yep! I'm definitely having a pink thing going on - this time though I've used hot pink for my inspiration.

Our new challenge on the blog at Oddball Art is Circles.  Don't forget you can get 10% off Lizzy's images on Etsy by quoting my code DTANDREA10 at check out.

Sooo.... the image I've used here is one of my favourites its number 160 she like a little fallen angel.  Instead of doing her in muted shades I decided hot pink would look so cool!  I've used Copics to colour the image and added a little black polychromos pencil to enhance the shadows.

To make to pink pop I've coupled it with black.  This is definitely my new favourite colour combination :D

The design paper you can see here is from Lemoncraft and there's a tiny bit off cut from Lili of the Valley.

All the circles were cut using Spellbinders dies and the birthday sentiment was also one of theirs.

I've just finished the card off by adding a few black gems

This image has been coloured with ProMarkers, cut out and distressed with a tool and some Tim Hotlz antique linen ink.  I've also used some white embossing enamel on the background.  Papers used in this creation were from Joy Crafts and Lili of the Valley.  I've also used some white card stock.

The die cuts you can see are from La La Land and Little Darlings. As the theme is to add pearls I've used lots of them :D

Wendy's been drawing again.  This is one of the new release images from All Dressed Up today available on Etsy

At first I was going to create something using the letters to make up a name or something but then I though I'd just colour the whole thing up so you could see it as a whole.

I've coloured the image with Promarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils.  The image was then mounted onto some black card stock and I've used a biro to doodle a border.

Anaz is 30!!

I just plain and simply can't believe where the time has gone.  when I first met my friend Julie her daughter was at school.

I've just made Julie this card for her - yes 30!!!  Where did the time go!

She wanted a sassy lady so I've used an image Lucy Loo Style I Love You from The East Wind

The image has been coloured with ProMarkers.  I've then cut it out to the shape of the easel card.

Two design paper (distressed) and the sentiment are form Lili of the Valley.  It's had to make an image like this special with flowers I find so I've added some bling with sequins and gems.

The 30 is made up from some black self adhesive glitter letter I got in Hobby Craft.

The sentiment was computer generated and cut out wit a Spellbinders die.

Here's a different angle and you can just see the blue gems and rhine stones I've used to finish the card off.

Be sure to follow Alyce's instructions so you can get her`

I coloured her with ProMarkers, blending out the colours to almost white in places to give an ethereal fairy effect.  Added to that was a little black polychromos pencil to add a real contrast of depth to the shading.

When I mounted her onto the card I added lashings of glitter using DecoArt Glamour Dust.

I distressed some design paper from First Edition and Lili of the Valley.

A sprinkling of Petaloo Darjeeling paper flowers and a button sentiment from Lemoncraft completes the look

Pretty Pastels

Our new Facebook challenge at All Dressed Up starts today our theme - Pretty Pastels.

You should find this one nice and easy, Wendy has loads of cute images you can use for this one.  Check out her Etsy store.

I've chosen to use Smile It's Your Birthday for my inspiration card.  Of course coloured in pastel shades using ProMarkers.

I've added a little bling to the card with a few sequins and gems.

Design papers for this one are all from Lili of The Valley, all have been distressed.

Here's a close up of my flower arrangement.  There's some Tim Holtz film strip and s mixture of flowers from The Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts.

The only other addition are a few pink gems

Silent woods

Meet Finnian (or Finn for short).  you can find Finnian in my Etsy shop for a special offer price this month.

He's a little Fennec Fox - they're tiny little foxes with REALLY BIG ears.  They're also really desert foxes but his colouring lends his a slightly spiritual look and with the theme being Story Time over at Markers Digis Papers I decided to sketch him in a woodland scene.

You can see the finished picture below which was coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.

I was so pleased with how this came out, instead of making it into a card I've actually framed the picture to go on the wall.  Not sure I can part with him :D
