Chocolate & Cookies

I love this cute image from Di's Digi Designs - it's called Hot Chocolate & Cookies

I've coloured the image using ProMarkers and Copics, cut it out with a Spellbinders die and distressed the edges with Milled Lavender ink from tim Holtz.

The design papers are from Joy Crafts and Maja Design.  The banner has been cut from two design papers then mounted one over the top of the other using a La La Land die.

The hearts from the die have been aded to the card.  I've used a Lili of the Valley sentiment coloured with ProMarker and a few pearl gems to finish off.

Sunny Colours

The current challenge at Oddball Art on the blog is Here Comes the Sun.  We'd like you include a sun in your creation.  Lizzy has created some sun's see image 313!

BUT as this is reminder week and it's anything goes for us DT gals doing the inspiration for you - instead of using a sun I've used sunny colours!

I've coloured this little cutie with Copics then added a little black polychromos for extra shading.

Plenty of black card for contrast and I've cut a piece out with a Little Darlings die.

The design papers are from Joy Craft.

The birthday sentiment was made up from black glitter letter.  My final touches are some black gems and a couple of orange enamel dots

Singing in the Rain

This is my last inspiration card for our current sponsor at Outlawz Sketch.  DRAWN by Krista is sponsoring us this month.  This image is Singing in the Rain Ducky

I chose to do this in very bright colours to give it a happy feel.  coloured with ProMarkers, I've then used a Spellbinders die to cut the image out.

The design papers I've used for this creation are from Joy Crafts, Lili of the Valley and Wild Rose Studio.  There's also some black card stock.

The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley one coloured with ProMarkers.

I've finished the card off with a couple of black gems and a scattering of paper flowers I got in Hobby Craft.

I've had this little guy for ages, he's called Nacho and you can find him at Stamping Bella

I added the sentiment just above his head and coloured him using Copics.

He had to go on a CAS card so he was the centre of attention.  The design paper is actually a Christmas one from First Edition.  I've also used some Kraft.  Then a little twine with a bow to finish off the card.

So ladies here's a bit of news - SheepSki Designs is in the spotlight - YAY!!!

A Little Corner of Colour

Pssst!  Did you know I've been sneaking digis into my shop without you looking :D

I've made this one VERY colourful, I don't normally use so many bright colours together but I though it have it a nice summery feel.

The image is Freesia Vase and you can find it in my Etsy shop.  For this one I've used my ProMarkers, then polychromos pencils to add lots of extra depth.

This is a very simple clean and simple design.  One layer cut shout or the actual card so it creates a white border.  Then I've done a little doodling to add some more framing.

The Happy Birthday sentiment was created on my computer at the time of printing.  The only embellishment, a few rhine stones to add a bit of bling.

Two Little Love Birds

This image has been colours with my faithful old ProMarkers.  The image cut out and distressed has been mounted onto distressed papers from Lili of the Valley and Our Daily Bread.

For my swirls I've used some white paper flowers and laid them out with a hint of a curl.  The two hearts are clay one which you can get form Live and Love Crafts.

The only other embellishment this time are a few sequins and a few rhine stones.

Puppy dog eyes

My hubby wanted a card for a friend.  It had to be cocktails, golf or a dog.  Then I showed him this image from Ching-Chou Kuik called Boston Terrier.

He said if I could do her with red her then it would be perfect :D

For a change I used Copics, this is because they give lovely rich colours.  Of course I've given her red hair.

The design paper are from Docrafts, Lili of the Valley and Santoro.  I've kept to a red black and white theme apart from the terrier.

The only embellishments used are some black gems and a birthday sentiment which can be found in Hobby Craft.

BoHo Chic

Let me introduce you to Summer.  Not the weather ha ha it doesn't know what summer means. No rather the new image available now at SheepSki Designs on Etsy.

I studied a lot to BoHo fashion for this image.  I borrowed some clothes and dressed her appropriately.  I've put a video of me drawing her onto my Facebook page if you're interested :D  

click here to see.  She's a kind of BoHo Hippy Chic, or she could be used for summer festival themed cards.

Summer was coloured with Copics, cut out and distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen and Vintage Photo and then the card edge distressed too.

Design papers are from Joy Crafts and Maya Designs.

The beautiful lace from Live and Love Crafts, the scattering of paper flowers from Hobby Craft and to finish some pearl gems.

Morpheus

My hubby named this little guy - Morpheus (God of Dreams).  You can him find at SheepSki Designs.

I've coloured him with my favourite ProMarkers and added a little extra shading with polychromos pencils.

Cut out with a Spellbinders dies I've distressed the edges after colouring is with Pale Blue ProMarker.

The distressed design papers are from Lili of the Valley.  I tried a few combinations of papers and this was one that made him still looked like he was in a garden of flowers - but - it also made him pop! 

The sentiment, which I though appropriate for the image and its name is one from a Lili of the Valley Art pad,  I've coloured it with ProMarker, distressed it and added a little DecoArt loose glitter.

Finally I added a scattering of sequins and rhine stone gems to give it a bit of bling and magic

I just love this new image from Oddball Art.  It's perfect for the summer and festivals.

I've coloured it with ProMarkers and also used some polychromos pencils for some added depth.

I've doodles round the image and mounted it onto some Crafters Companion design paper called Butterfly Lullaby.  Just underneath the image is a little black card stock.

My final touches are some tiny silver dragonfly charms, a couple of tiny wooden hearts and a "GROOVY" sentiment made up with letter beads

I've a shabby chic card to share with you for the new blog challenge at All Dressed Up today.

This is Festival Lily.  I've used her before but not since I because a design team member for All Dressed Up

I've used ProMarkers in my favourite colour combination purple and blue for this card. The edges of the image have been treated with Milled Lavender distress ink.

The image and design papers from Docrafts and Lili of the Valley have been distressed to give the whole card a shabby chic look

Added to this are some wooden  butterflies from Scrapiniec.  The Girl sentiment is also from them.  It actually reads it's a girl but I cut off the "It's A" bit :D  I've also added some black gems

I with we had some sun here in the UK, the weather's gone miserable again.

Making a CAS style card I've drawn in a sun and some clouds into the background.

I am Cat

This cat looks very pleased with itself, either that or its just had some cream!  This is an image from Drawn by Krista who is sponsoring us at the Outlawz Sketch challenge for June.

This image is part of Cute Kitty Thank You, I love You.  I've coloured it as a white cat so the red collar pops.  The image has been cut out with a Spellbinders dies

I've used design papers from Santoro and Maya Designs as well as black card stock to add a border.

I've moved the ribbon (ric-rac) on the sketch so it's on the design paper behind the image and instead of using buttons I've used some letter beads to make the sentiment "I am cat" the image reminded me of a book I saw in Waterstones called I am  Cat :D

That's out theme for the new challenge today at ABC Challenge.  So anything goes for this next couple of weeks crafty people :D

We're sponsored by All Dressed Up this time and I've chosen to use Little Dreamer for my inspiration card.

She's been coloured with ProMarkers.  For this card I've tried something different.  The image has been cut out with two Spellbinders dies.  I've then cut some red card stock the same size and mounted the image onto it.

The two orange circles cut out with a Spellbinders die are Joy Craft paper.

For some finishing touches, I've added a few red paper flowers from Hobby Craft and a sentiment from Lili of the Valley coloured with ProMarkers.

Say Cheese

Sharing a very special card with you that I've just finished tonight (just checking you can't see any glue in the pics - LOL!!) 

This is the card I've made for my dad for Father's Day.  He loves photography and I found this perfect little House Mouse image called Say Cheese

Coloured with ProMarkers, I've cut the card in a block to go right across the card.  I've then treated the edges to some Tim Holtz Peeled Paint distress ink.

The design paper is from Joy Crafts and to create a border I've added a piece of black ric rac which is over the top of the two pieces of film strip from Tim Hotlz.

The "With Love" sentiment was cut out from a piece of black card stock using a Spellbinders die and the "Cheese" sentiment was created with some letter beads.

Can't wait to give him it :D

Golden wedding

I was lucky enough to win the GDT spot for Fussy and Fancy for their Anniversary / Wedding themed challenge and if you've read their GDT post you probably know a lot more about me now. 

For those of you that haven't read the post I work full time as an accountant, am a member of 4 design teams and for one of those I run the Facebook Group for them to help out as well.  I'm a dancer and badminton player (although injured at the moment which helps with crafting time!)

To top it off I now draw digital images which I sell in my shop on Etsy SheepSki Designs and have just started a Facebook group SheepSki Designs Digital Stamps with a challenge.  I have no design team yet so I'm doing all this myself at the moment! 

Soooooo...... onto what I've made for the lovely ladies at Fussy & Fancy

  I've chosen to use Wedding Couple from Aurora Wings for my inspiration card.  The image is just so beautiful Mitzi is so talented and I didn't have time to draw an image :D

I've coloured this image with ProMarkers I find they blend out really well to give a softer look than when I use Copics.  I've done her dress in pale golden colours using Vanilla & Ivory in case you wanted to know.  Scattered around the edges of the image are some pearl dots created with Dovecraft 3D Pearl effects.

Here's a close up of the main flower section.

The heart chip board is from Blue Fern Studios.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts.  I also got the lace from Live & Love Crafts that you can see behind the image.

At the bottom of the card is a piece of organza rose trim which can be bought from Wild Orchid Crafts, Live & Love Crafts or The Ribbon Girl.

There are also some tiny delicate pieces of flowered chip board.  They come in longer strips with stems but I cut these down to just the round flowers, they're Dusty Attic chipboard.

There's a resin corner at the to right which you can just see peaking out form under the flowers.  The Mr & Mrs sign is from Scrapiniec which I found at Scrap & Craft.  I've also added a few pearl gems and the tiny heart at the right of the card if from the Blue Fern Studios piece (I didn't want to waste it and it fit in with what I was doing)

Finally the design papers I used were from First Edition and Joy Crafts.  All have been treated with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo distress ins (Tim Holtz) and they've also been distressed.

Wish you were here

I have the honour today of joining Scrapping4Fun as a guest designer.  This theme is Travel / Holiday sponsored by Julia Spiri.

I've used Julia's Venice image for my creation.  The images has been coloured with ProMarkers, Copics and polchromos pencils and I've also added in a couple of flying birds into the background with biro.

I've made the image into a polaroid style picture, doodle a flower in the top corner and added a sentiment Wish you were here with a heart.  The black inside edge of this was done with biro.

The design papers you can see in the background are from Tim Holtz.  I've added one of his metal tags with journey on.  In addition to this there are two pieces of film strip, some black lace, black roses, stamen and some tiny wooden hearts.

Zzzzzz....Zebra

This is one of Wendy's adorable new images.  You can find him/her on the All Dressed Up Etsy store and he's called Z if for Zebra :D

I've chosen to do mine as a baby girl card, so I've dug out my old favourite ProMarkers and made Zebra a pastel pink.

I've distressed the edges of the image with Tim Holtz Milled Lavender and doodled a border to look like stitching around the edge.

Making a shaped card, so all the design papers had to be hand cut, I've layered papers from Joy Crafts and Studio Light.

Onto the embellies - a resin corner bought from Live & Love Crafts, some grunge board hearts from Tim Holtz (coloured with ProMarker), some grey heart ribbon from my stash, some pink gems, a heart die cut banner using a La La Land die and the it's a girl sentiment (bought from Scrap & Craft)

So that's it for my inspiration for this new release image.
